Odin waited and listened, allowing the girl's words to flow through him as he began to understand everything that was going on. Initially he had considered the possibility of the girl before him actually being Genevieve: the daughter he had taken into his care with the demon prince that she possessed, and now he knew it to be true. For whatever reason, she had lost some of her memory, and gained a new appearance, something that wasn't entirely uncommon in the world of magic. The potion to do so was an easily tradable commodity despite the heavy implications of some people who got addicted to changing how they looked. However, regardless of all of that, Odin's features did something rare. They softened. It was minute and almost imperceptible, but the tone of his voice and the aura surrounding Odin changed as he did something no one had ever seen him do before. Overcome with relief that Genevieve was safe, Odin stepped towards her, wrapped his arms around her shoulders, and hugged her.
The gasps from the bar were audible. Odin Morningstar, Wizard Lord, Cult Leader and Guildmaster, embodiment of all evil, was embracing someone in a loving way. The hug was pure and tranquil, nothing else mattered in that moment, and he would hold it for as long as Genevieve would allow. If multiple minutes began to pass, he would slowly release, retake his seat, and help her understand what was happening to her.
"My daughter, how I've missed your presence. I can shed some light on your situation. You are Genevieve, it is your true name, and the voice that has been calling you is one named Asmodeus. She is a demon prince, one of the strongest beings of her world, and she has granted you her power and guidance." Taking a breath, as well as sip of his wine, Odin continued, "During the time since I last saw you, it seems you were injured and lost some of your memory, and you also consumed a potion that changed your appearance, which is why Asmodeus commented on your "new skin". Although, if you were to ask me, I think you look beautiful."
