Something looked decidedly different about this construction crew... Among all the burly, brawny men and women carrying out large pieces of stone, wood and metal around, one woman in particular stood out as she hoisted large slabs of stone big enough to put any of them to shame, without looking particularly burdened by it. Squatted down near a sizeable stone block, Alisa Vollan wore one of the most casual outfits she had at her disposal, a simple pair of blue jeans and a plain white tanktop, already adorned by the odd patch of sweat here and there and teh odd coating of dust and dirt:
"Hnnnfff....!", with a low huff, Alisa took hold of the daunting block of stone with both hands, her muscles clenching, tightning hard enough for the outlines of her sculpted strength to grow visible under those tight blue jeans as they sat oh so snugly around her luscious legs. She'd done this many times before after all, with far heavier weights than this, all for the purpose of training. So it hardly bothered her that much when she hoisted it calmly over her head, huffing ever so slightly as she walked over to the master builder and asked, "So, where do you need this one?"
The fact that she could casually hold a conversation made jaws drop left and right, no matter how many times she did this. But in the end, the man gathered his bearings quickly enough, rubbing his temple as he pointed to where the nearest stonecutters were getting ready to sculpt the rock into pieces. Alisa could have helped with those of course, but the irony was, she'd come here as a mage, but her strengh made her far more useful in other tasks:
"Just... put that over there.", he pointed out, chuckling as he admitted, "Gotta say, when i heard we had mages willing to help us rebuild, i certainly expected something a bit more... Magical? Not really compaining or anything mind ya"
