Continuing to stare at the water, Ariael would soon come to stand from his position near the river. From what sources told him, Ariael did indeed have the abilities of the Dead God, but he hadn't put them to the test yet. If he were to sink in the river and never rise up for air, would he return? If the day came, could he fight at the bottom of the river for eternity? If a blade ran through his heart and another through his forehead, would he be able to continue in battle? At most, the powers that he had obtained were simply guesses.
The single person who had the ability in the past lived in the world over a thousand years ago. The stories of the Dead God could be mere myth. However, Ariael had experienced the reality between myth and fact. Over the course of his time in Fiore, the Mage Hunter had came across equipment, magic, and people that the world would consider merely myths. He had even acquired some of those things. Was himself considered a myth. Beginning to walk forward, Ariael would begin to enter the river. It wouldn't take long for him to submerge his whole body.
