Knuckles Shi

Job:

It was nice to be back in Baska, he wanted to check in with the miners and see if he could use some task they needed done to make some quick jewels. Before he went to see them though, Knux popped into the city market area and was looking at a local blacksmiths shop. He was searching for some new gear to upgrade what he was currently wearing. He knew his hammer was more than enough to carry him through for the rest of his days, so much as he kept on liking the style of it. He used it as he had with his sword though he found it too less skill to use this than a katana. While he might not have been following the dream of becoming a legendary swordsman still, he figured he would generate more of a name for himself for using a large hammer like the one on the small of his back. Thanks to all the training and fighting he had down with the hammer and his heavy armor he had grow used to the weight and even had started to not feel the weight of it bearing down on his body anymore.

It was true enough that his gear had carried him far enough to reach this point but he had found his shield while initially good, was now starting to wear down in usefulness, often having to rebuild or replace it after jobs or fights. Perhaps that would be the next thing he would purchase as his armor and helmet seemed to last more than anything. He entered the store and started to look about, right away he noticed a sketchy-looking man eyeing a beautifully crafted blade. It looked expensive and might have been something Knuckles himself might have bought if he was still in the mindset of using swords. Knuckles looked away and went back to searching the wares to be had within the store. Getting into the shield section Knuckles slowed down lifting up shields and holding them up testing their weight and the cover each one offered. Though by the time he had got to the third shield in the row of shields, the shady man ran through the shop taking the blade he had been looking at. The word Theif was shouted a few times, and then a plea from the blacksmith to catch the man and bring him back, he wanted him not killed but broken was fine.

With a shrug, he weighed the options of helping. If he helped perhaps he could build a relationship with the blacksmith and earn a discount on his wares. If not, he would at least be owed one for his aid and that would be something of use down the road if not immediately. Knuckles Pulled his hammer from his back and rushed out the door, looking both left and right it would be clear which way the thief had gone from the reaction of the crowd outside and the mess he made as he bumped into people on the street. Knuckles called into the powers granted to him by the demon as black energy formed around his body soon black wings and markings appeared on his body. As far as anyone would know this was just magic. Using his Demon Mode, Knuckles then bent at the knees before leaping up into the air by 2 meters, then his wings would carry him up until he reach 5 meters. From this height he could still see the thief running, he was pretty fast, though sadly not fast enough. Knuckles fed mana into his chest piece allowing the spell within the armor to come to life as it cast on him, allowing him to reach his full speed instantly.

Leaning forward and flapping the black wings, Knuckles would zoom off at top speeds for 20 meters until the spell on his armor wore off. Once it did though Knuckles would already be close enough to use his hammer's magic to end this quickly. Feeding his mana into his hammer he threw it through the air as it locked onto his target zipping through the air until it would lower down like a missile or an arrow and find purchase in the man's leg. Holding his arm and hand out he called for the hammer as he closed the gap between the two, the hammer lifted from the ground and rose into the air once more until Knuckles caught it. He was really starting to love this hammer. Soon enough Knux was on top of the man hovering as he heard the yells and moaning coming from him. It was clear to all those who laid eyes on him that his leg had been broken, to say the least. Knux lowered his body to the ground allowing the wings to fade from his body as well as the markings that came with them. The Daemon looked at the sword and thought.

He pushed the thought from his head, yes he could take the item and sell it or even use it, but there was more to regained perhaps by returning it and the man who stole it. Knuckles place his hammer on the small of his back and bent over, using his strength to lift the man up and picked up the sword. Knuckles drug that man back to the shop, upon entering he tossed the man onto the ground and looked at the shopkeeper and blacksmith. It was then he ordered everyone out but Knuckles and the theft. Once everyone was out the blacksmith walked to the door and locked it, he slowly walked past Knuckles grabbing a hammer used for forging from his belt and grabbed the collar of the man ignoring the sword, Nothing the busted leg he looked back at Knuckles with a nod and told him good work. For the next 20 minutes, Knuckles watched as the Blacksmith used that same hammer to smash fingers, towers, wrist, ankles, elbows, and knee caps as he asked questions and hit the man with each answer it did not matter what he said he only received a strike to his body. As this went on Knuckles simply went back to looking around the shop in peace, the cries of pain and pleads of mercy not phasing him.

When the blacksmith was down he wiped his hammer clean and walked over to the Daemon. With a sigh, he apologized for Knuckles having to bear witness to him losing control like that but Knux waved it off. He ensured him he understood his Family's background allowed insight into understanding things like this needed a heavy hand to deal with them. The blacksmith reached for a small brown pouch and placed it into Knux's hand. He asked that he accept this as payment for his efforts, and while this was not what he was hoping for, he knew this could be used as jewels for a new item to replace his shield. With a nod Knuckles thanked him, and stored the Jewels away onto his belt. WIth that Knuckles lowered his head in respect and left knowing there would be more the blacksmith had to do and would leave him to it with no one to watch it be done. He would return on another day to spend his jewels and see if they could work something else out all or perhaps talk about more work the blacksmith might need to be done. Either way, Knuckles had made some Jewels.
