Amir walked up to the closest Eternal Nightmare member. "Yo. Do you know where the one you call Khalfani is? I am looking to see him for a business proposition. If you can just pass the word along.” Amir found a place to sit down in. He kept a decent vantage point on a window and door. Just in case he needed to make an exit. “You think this place would be decent and at least serve tea for guests.” Amir just made sure that he was not nervous. The moment he felt afraid he believed he would be ripped to shreds.

Without expression the vampire digressed, then turned to travel towards the entrance of the guild. They stepped into the elevator with only their robe, their fitted boxer briefs and slippers to cover their body. Nothing else on, because this was their home and they were just that comfortable. The guild was, of course, clean. Odin liked everything to be tidy and neat. The hallways were dark and empty considering most people were either in their dorms or downstairs on the main floor. When Khalfani had reached the main floor, they stood at the top of the wide staircase that would bring them into the main hall with only about seven steps to where most of the guild members were. "That's him." the cultist whispered in Kha's ear. There, they spotted a familiar face. One perfectly structured and golden-baked face. A wolf from the sands or the trees- it wasn't always easy to tell.
The dark-skinned mage remembered this face from two years ago. It felt like a life-time ago, but how could they forget this beauty? Just look at him sitting, standing out like a stallion in a lions den just ready to be devoured. Yet "business" meant "business". Thus, handling that was the first order of business, no matter how enticed Khalfani was to indulge the man in other ways. "You're either really brave or really stupid coming in here alone." smooth, poised and collected, swift with their tongue and unbothered with their demeanor but obviously interested as their eyes slowly moved down the stranger's body. The vampire wondered what would happen next. What proposition could an Infinity Wolves guild member possibly have for a mage of nightmare.

"You're either really brave or really stupid coming in here alone." The words spoken to him were enough to garner his attention. Amir just smiled. The art of negotiation was a battlefield. Showing the wrong reaction to his opponent that just arrived would be disadvantageous for him. Instead of answering Amir gave them a once over. A golden body that would have made him drool under normal circumstances. The vampire looked sexy even in a relaxing attire of slippers and robe. It made Amir feel overdressed not that he would have qualms with stripping.
Amir slowly let his eyes travel upwards from the sight he was seeing. Smiling when his eyes leveled out to the eyes of the one he was looking at. Amir had the strangest feeling he had met this person somewhere before. Feeling like he left them hanging enough he decided to voice his reply. “Brave or stupid is relative. The audience decides the angle and it is only if the hero in question survives. I can assure you I like my odds.” Amir stood up to walk closer. His white jeans and black tank top clinging to his body as he moved. The short cape was catching the wind adding an air of grace. He stopped as he stood close enough to be in arms reach. “I have spent some time looking for you. I have a couple of things I wish to inquire about. I hope you are willing to humor me. We can take this to a place more private if needed. I believe you do not want your guild privy to all your business.”

The halls of Eternal Nightmare were never too loud. You had folks who were definitely more boisterous than others, but for the most part it was incredibly chill around here, which meant that if you weren't quiet enough, everyone would know everything. Khalfani slightly turned to the cultist beside them, eyes still glued to the stranger's eyes. "Leave us." they said before he shuffled away. "Hm. I'm flattered. I don't even know your name and you're already trying to get me alone." Khal teased in a cold, light tone. They kept it monotone to protect whatever would be said out in the open. The prince hey moved closer, voice lowering as the distance changed between both of them. Khalfani stood taller than the wolf so they looked down as they spoke. Unclothed, their body was only about a foot away from the newcomer. As much as this was flirtatious, this was also safety. If they needed to they could swing and crush his pretty little face. "Considering you know my name, I'm assuming you probably know a little about me too. So how do I know you're not an enemy?"

“Amir. Amir Nuit. From the Nuit family of Minstrel. Trust me. Getting you alone would have been for your advantage. I was simply trying to work around you.” Amir dropped his gaze to let his eyes roam for a second. He could not help but release a quick “لكن لعق عرقك سيكون ممتعًا.” In Desiertian, bringing his eyes back to eye level. “Anyway. I am a simple scholar. I like to learn things and know things. Hence I was able to learn your name. Nothing else about you. No need to be scared. I am sure a gorgeous one like yourself cannot be threatened by me. I just wanted to hear about your exploits in Desierto. A vast amount of info was hidden from me and I have a lot of questions. ” Amir licked his ruby lips and playfully moved some of the hair from his neck, as he looked up. Waiting for the tall vampire to answer. Amir made his expression naturally sweet as he gazed into the darker eyes with rapt attention.

"What was that?" they said pretending to not have heard what Amir said. The pending subject was quickly changed as Mr. Nuit further explained his position. A scholar, and inquirer, a curious cat, and a charmer nonetheless. Khalfani would have believed him if they weren't of the royal family. Any Desiertan who knew the name of Desierto- moreso one who had done so much to get ahold of the child of Odin, had to have known their position right? Maybe? Perhaps it was possible that Amir knew nothing at all. Regardless, Khalfani's interest has been peaked. For a moment there was silence. Khalfani's cold trauma-filled eyes glared into Amirs soft yet oddly mischievous gaze. Truth be told, his gaze alone was enough to melt the vampire...somehow.
Slowly, Khal's eyes softened as a warm smile stretched their lips. They gently grabbed Amir's hand before leaning in to kiss it, if the Minstreli wolf would let him. "Alright. Let's go somewhere more private, Amir Nuit..." They said before slowly backing up, helping Amir up the short flight of stairs, still holding his hand. "وربما يمكننا أن ننغمس في بعضناالبعض ... بطرق أكثر إمتاعًا" they said as they began leading Amir down a hall towards his left. The safest option was the empty office room all the way at the end. Nothing important was in it, it was just the most private room on the second floor.

Amir was impressed that a member of Eternal Nightmare could be so courteous. The treatment was almost better than what he received from the rest of the wolves. He was even being treated as a gentleman and escorted up the stairs. Imagine his surprise when he was spoken back to in Desiertan. Amir momentarily stumbled in the hall. He was able to regain his balance and still be embarrassed. This was the most contact he had got in years. Amir was not as good at this as he seems. It was only stubbornness and determination that kept him sane.
“آسف. لم أكن أعرف أنك تتحدثين اللغة.” Amir spoke after a moment. It was easier for him to flirt in his native tongue than the commonly spoken Fiorian language. “يمكنني السماح لك بالانغماس في داخلي لأنك مثير. أطلب فقط أن تخبرني عن الوضع الحالي لـ Desierto.” Thinking it over Amir viewed honesty as the best policy in this case. He could take the time out to enjoy a romp as long as he learned what he needed to. A sexy mage like this fine, life needed risks and Amir was used to being in danger. “خلاف ذلك ، قد لا تصدقني عندما أقول. أنا لا أفعل هذا في كثير من الأحيان.” Amir traced his thumb along the hand that was pulling his. Allowing himself to be pulled as his heart continued to beat erratically.

In all honesty, it was no surprise that Amir had been attracted sexually, at least, to the Eternal Nightmare mage. Khal was confident in their appearance but moreso understood the dynamics of physical attraction. Just like everything, it was a science. As Amir spoke the floors beneath them creaked lightly. They were freshly polished, made of Oak wood, and reflected the light above them. The Desiertan couldn't help but chuckle lightly at how straightforward the guest was, eyes captured by his mesmerizing facial features. While participating in more pleasurable activities wasn't something the wolf was against, it was clear that the info he sought was his top priority. Khal's smile widened. He realized that Desiertan was being used as the green-eyed stranger flirted. It almost felt like he was shying away from the common tongue. Perhaps they didn't want the neighbors to hear. Or maybe they were just more comfortable speaking in their native language.
"I believe you, but even if you were, it wouldn't matter. I hope you don't think my intentions are one-sided..." They began. They didn't want Amir to think that there was only one way the Sorcerer would speak. Khalfani turned to turn the knob on the plain wooden door. They then stepped aside, pushing the door open for Amir to enter first.
"I'll tell you what I can. I owe you that much as someone from Desierto. Plus, I could look at you all day, so I'm in no rush." The room was already lit up with the chandelier in the middle of the room. This was the smallest library in the guild, but it worked when you needed privacy or a quick read. The book shelves stood one behind the other in two rows for about twenty meters. There had been a two person couch on the far left in front of the first book shelf. "I hope it's not too...eerie." They said rubbing the back of their head in embarrassment. They moved towards the couch before sitting, putting their arm on the back of the furniture and turning shifting their body towards Amir, wherever they may have been. "I'm all yours so...ask away." they said gently, eyes gazing into Amir's with not a nerve in sight.

“I don’t think your intentions are one-sided.” Amir felt in his gut that if the dark wizard only wanted his body they could have already taken it. Amir may have preferred speaking in his native tongue but he would match whatever language Khal spoke.
Entering the room first Amir was glad by the sight. The fillings of books everywhere caught his attention, more than the one of the hand he was holding. Amir developed a small hope that he would be able to read some if not all the books here. The scholar spent almost two years at the spiral library and picked up a lot. Who knew what kind of things he would learn being inside the Eternal Nightmare guild. The magic may be dark but the knowledge was not. Amir would not mind reading about various dark arts as well. It would make it easier to confront them when needed.
“This place is not eerie at all!” He could not mask the excitement inside of him. “This is a decent collection of books. Who knows what kind of treasures you can find on those shelves.” Amir was having a hard time not geeking out. When Amir felt his hand get released he had to fight his other urges. If his trip was not so important he would have dove into the books with great gusto. Instead he sat on the couch next the taller vampire. Close enough so only their knees touched. Locking eyes again as he began to speak.
“Okay. Truth be told, I have been estranged from Desierto in a sense. I have only been able to keep moderate tabs on it. One of the things that came up was your name and how you helped end the human trafficking. My question was in regard to some of the tribes and people you slaughtered. I wanted to know if you kept a record.” Amir thought about it for a second before adding on. “This is not about revenge on you. I just want to know if the tribe that enslaved me and my own were taken out.” Amir popped the statement in there. His eyes on the mage in question. He wanted to see if they had any reaction to his previous slave status. A lot of people judged him about it as is. It was why he never really trusted anyone outside of the guild or his own family with the information before.

Desierto. Upon hearing the name of his homeland once more, Khalfani wasn't at all sure how much information he should reveal. This man was still a stranger after all. Khalfani had been surprised to hear that their endeavors with the underground human trafficking operation. The vampires eyes widened a bit as he turned away to think, clearly having visions of the scenes engraved his mind. They flashed through like a slideshow of pictures...one...by one. But then something was revealed. Amir himself had also been a product of slavery, causing Khal to turn his way in shock. Quickly fixing his body to be in their former more relaxed position, they cleared their throat.
"I..." he began as he stared into the wall behind Amir. Again, gruesome images of children's body parts, the sounds of their terrified screams, the drained and tired looks on their faces, all flashed through his brain. For a moment that felt like forever to the prince, there was silence. "I'm sorry that you had to experience that." They said balling their fists. His eyes flashed a bright red into Amir's. He truly couldn't help the rage."No living being should ever have to experience that." They said with a sigh.
"But I'm afraid you've got it all wrong. After shutting down the ring that linked Fiore and Stella, I had reason to believe that almost every country was involved in this mess." Amir was looking for answers for his own sake and Khal couldn't help him. That alone was enough to make him feel like he should have done more. The Sorcerer knew what it was like...to be enslaved...and to want vengeance. It was the very reason why he had ventured out to destroy the operations that made his childhood a living hell.
"So I was gonna start by shutting down the operation in Desierto, but when the Pharaoh says otherwise, you listen. I've only killed one group of people and that was to defend the Kingdom. The Hatems, they called 'em. A new group of youngin's opposing my grandfathers claim to the throne." They sucked their teeth, shaking their head only disappointed in themselves. Their eyes reverted away from Amir. "I'm sorry I don't have more for you..."

“You don’t have to feel sorry for me.” Amir added when the apology came. He was not a fan of people looking down on him for his past. It had a tendency of feeling like he was looked down upon. The young scholar did not like being underestimated. “Or be mad about it.” He said when he saw a flash of red in their eyes.
Amir had to listen to the situation. He tried not to fidget or allow his eyes to roam to the books. He gave his full attention to Khal. The topic spoke about was important to him even if it was a bit of a disappointment. Amir was feeling several things about the fact that his enemies were still alive. Joy at the thought of being able to finish them off himself, sadness at the point that they could be still torturing others. He had to departmentalize his mind. Promising himself to come up with battle strategies and plans as soon as he left. He did not want the situation to grow. It meant he would have to move up his planned trip to desierto.
The story that he listened to raises a serious question. “Did you say grandfather's claim to the throne? Not that you have to tell me if you do not want to. It has nothing to do with what we were talking about. Just never thought I could have a casual conversation with a member of the nobility. I just worked under the guise that most if not all were pompous buttholes.” Amir bit his lip. He averted his eyes to look down as if he was deep in thought. The nervous energy that filled his mind had him in a bit of a bind. “Again, you do not have to feel sorry. You have done enough and made some great changes. If I need more I guess I can go look for it myself. I have to go back to Dieserto at some point. Which brings me to a different point. I need you to escort me back. I plan on paying you. I have been saving up some money. I can easily discuss your price and payment options.”
The smile on the scholar's face was bright. He had studied in depth when it came to contracts and mercantile. Amir would refuse to let himself be at a deficit. Since meeting Khal it had become complicated as he did not want them to miss out either. It was an odd sensation as if Amir grew closer to them the more time had passed. If they weren’t on two different sides of the law Amir would ask them out on a date.

"Did I say that?" He said with a chuckle, rubbing the back of his head. "Yeah well the truth is, we are assholes." He shrugged with a sigh. Oh how he hated that it was true. Two years ago, the Desiertan prince wanted nothing more than to embrace his role as a noble. After have enduring so much, there was almost this sense of entitlement he felt. Even when he declared to his father that he wanted the kingdom of Fiore. Now though, Khalfani had seen a glimpse of what it was like. He couldn't even tell you if it was something he wanted anymore.
Amir was adamant on the Vampire not feeling bad for him, but next came a proposition. Apparently Amir wanted to go home, to Desierto. For what? Who knew, but there was money involved. From what the Panther could gather, he knew that the wolf had unsettled quarrels in the country of sand. The worry was that his quarrel also extended to the kingdom of Desierto. Granted he had not done anything to Khalfani in this room, but it was safe to say that he knew who's domain he was in. It would be absolutely silly for him to try anything. The vampire cocked his head to the side and rubbed his beard. He forgot it was even there.
"I'll escort you. I don't need your money, but..." He said after a moment of silence. Within that moment, Khalfani's eyes had never left Amir's face, scrolling up and down his body. Slowly he moved forward, his leg shifting so that he could close the small gap between him and Amir. "You've piqued my interest, Prince. So I'll take you, but on one condition." he leaned closer towards amir, bringing his face only inches away from Amir's. His mouth directly aligned with the wolf of class before him.
Before another word came out, he leaned in to gently press his lips against Amir's if he would allow. Then, his lips would part Amirs as the kiss began to intensify. However, just before things could escalate, Khalfani would slowly pull away a few inches. "Let me take you out tonight, little wolf." he would whisper.

A counter offer. The Desert Scholar was interested in what they had to say. If the offer was too poor he would have to drop it gently. If they made a decent offer he would have to tame his excitement before accepting. Amir looked at this moment as a guideline to all the future negotiations the two of them would have. Amir wanted to blow them not the negotiations.
His voice squeaked in his throat when their lips met. The sweetness on his lips excited him. Amir was all up for it. Opening his lips in invitation. He was losing track of his surroundings and purpose as he melted. When Khal pulled away all Amir wanted to do was bite him in frustration. He felt certain parts of his anatomy turning more blue than a sea dragon. The hot and cold game was exciting his blood too much.
“Uhm…” His voice sounded a bit froggy from the heaviness of the kiss. When his mind computed what was said to him. One of the hardest working brains in Fiore took a great mental blow. Getting asked out by someone so stunning could throw him for a loop. He considered them to be a model of perfection. The issue he had was the legality of it. Could he risk a future with a stranger he just met. Amir had to give it a ponder for a moment. He did read some romance novels with plots that had people from different factions. It ended with someone diverting or people dying. His mind was doing the mental math gymnastics on calculating happiness.
While Amir was thinking he brought his hand to his lip for a second. The puffiness grounded his mind and he was able to speak again. “You have to stop making me so speechless. It makes it harder for me to calm down and think. I can allow you to take me out at least once. Granted it is on a date and not out of life. A beast with muscles like yours could easily strangle me out.” Amir did not ask them if it was even allowed. Dark guilds were probably less restricted in that manner. Worse comes to worse Amir figured he could deal with the fallout later. He absentmindedly looked at Khal’s chest. He traced the lines with his fingers as if he wanted to insinuate something. He jumped up all of a sudden with a smattering of embarrassment on his face.
“With that out the way. I guess we can set a time and place. That way I can see you later.” Amir was trying to flee as if he was a rat. He wanted to leave the place before he started acting like a beast.

"I just couldn't help myself." he bit his lip, obviously still enticed as his eyes slowly drove down Amir's body. A light guild mage and a dark guild mage was recipe for disaster in the eyes of common folk. Of course people who believed that the law was above the people would be afraid of being courageous for the sake of love or basic human emotions but Khalfani was always the one to take the risk. This, for him, would be a thrill. Unintentionally, it could be a statement. Now that the green-eyed soul-snatcher had accepted the Eternal Nightmare mage's invite, next was making the plans.
"I'll come pick you up at 9? I'll figure out the rest." Khalfani stood up off of the couch, extending a hand to Amir to lift him up. A thousand and one thoughts crossed Khalfani's mind. Where would they go? Should it be grand? Or should it be small? The vampire personally didn't mind either, though Amir did look...expensive. "If we don't leave this room, I think we'll be too occupied to have this date." He tucked in his lips and looking down at the emboldened print on his pants. "Right buddy?" he said to the member between his legs.

“Yes. That will be great! I am staying here.” Amir gave the name of the place he was staying the night at, his voice sounding giddy about the thought of them meeting up. He looked at his clothes. They were neat enough but figured they could be better. He held out his hand and helped the dark sorcerer up without a second thought. He was ready to go. The sooner he left the quicker he could return. Amir turned to walk out when he heard the comment. He looked back to see them talking to their members. Their own growth mirroring the situation in his own pants.
“Not like I would dislike that too much. As long as you are good we can do it multiple times.” Amir threw the words over his shoulder as he fled the small room. The air was thick with a scent that made him want to go wild. At this point he could barely contain himself. He exited out the room and made a quick escape out of the guild. Taking the time to prepare for the night's events.
