The spiral Library seemed like a good place to visit after being gone for so long given it was on a list of places for him to visit for some time. I haven't added anything new to my collection in some time, he thought to himself as they made their descent to the ground Extortion started to become restless. "Easy girl you can rest once we get inside." traveling to the north has always taken a great toll on the mount so allowing them time to rest was mandatory.

After leaving his mount at the front door Azure entered the massive structure. The number of books that lined the walls was far greater than the information he was given years ago. Surely he would be able to find books related to all sorts of old and fascinating places that are thought to be lost due to inaccurate reports or just natural happenings covering them up. His child side was ecstatic about the collection and couldn't wait to dig in.

"Wow, the system here must be super complex!" having to organize and re-stock the books must have been breaking work just from the design of the building alone but one could only imagine just how much work actually goes into keeping this place in order. They could spend hours if not months locked away in here while only leaving to eat and change their clothes every so often but for now they had a few subjects that they wanted to look into even though it may just be a myth after all.

Azure looked around to try and find some type of map or something close to it any way but it seemed as though he would just have to head pick a section and hope he was able to find it. After walking in a bit more he found a small stand with a small stack of papers resting on it. The stack of paper had a list of subjects on them and a number on the top and bottom left corners of it. Are these all the subjects on this floor? the child side asked as they looked over it to make sure it wasn't just someone's list of books to get.

"Okay, let's see what I can find on that group," pointing to the directory the informant went ahead and attempted to walk up the seemingly endless stairs that made up the building. It was rather odd how no staff was present to help but then again they could have been around but just higher up.

It wasn't impossible for a library such as this to only have a staircase for its visitors Calling one of them would be a breach of contract he thought to himself making his way up the third flight of steps, his legs had started to fill with lead with each step that followed. Azure stopped in in the middle of the stairway to catch their breath across from him was another pathway that went to what he could only hope was another section of books but given that no signs had been posted to indicate were the sections where it was all a matter of luck.

About two minutes into his rest and he could feel one of his summons calling out to him "I'll find the books I promise just hold on." After defeating Ignis his summons had started to become needier and more active. Having regained some of his stamina the informant finished his clam to the third section and where he started his search for a collection of books related to summoning and temple of sorts. As he looked through the books he pulled out his parchment and started writing on it "Before I get too deep in this..." he muttered jotting down a report/update he needed to deliver to someone back West. Blu folded the parchment as it started to fade out his hand and hopefully into the revivers hand.

The section had a bunch of subjects related to light magic and sub-sections of light magics that were used in times of old but some of the books were in a different langue that he's never heard of before so he tried to copy them down with as much accuracy as possible. Translating the books was going to take some time and he was more than willing to wait for an accurate translation of them.

Azure bounced around from one side to another as he wrote down the names of the books he wanted to come back for. It was hard to tell the exact time from within the building but if he guessed it would've had to be just shy of dinner time. As he reached the end of the current section a single book stood out to them, the spine was faded and damaged in some places making it hard to read. Not wanting to get his hopes up today he closed his eyes and pulled it off the shelf.  

"This doesn't make any sense...unless." the books were starting to show a clear pattern when it came to their subjects and overall length. Blu managed to find one of the books on his list but the rest were more than likely on one of the upper floors that he would get to once Extortion is at 110% and willing to spend time in here.

As he packed his books into his bag he couldn't help but feel as though something was calling out to him, it was similar to when Ignis had been calling to him after breaking the contract but this was something else altogether. Unlike his what happened with Ignis this one wasn't draining him of mana or maybe it was and he just didn't notice it yet. The books he had managed to read weren't exactly what he needed but were something close to it and then the books that need translation were something to take note of as well.

As he pushed open the door the sun had vanished and been replaced with the moon "Guess time speeds up when having fun." something that he didn't have much of these days. Why is it going down the stairs was easier? the child side asked as they didn't really have any issue going down but going up was hell.
