Details

Height: 0.4 meters.

Appearance: Merry is a small blue cat with a white stomach and a black-tipped tail. He has a rectangular head, with pink ears, big black eyes with small, thin eyebrows, and light blue cheek marks near his tiny whiskers on either side of his face. Unlike normal cats, Merry's body structure allows him to walk erect.

Personality: Merry is a kind, friendly, playful young Machia cat who is capable of feeling and expressing emotions. He is generally level-headed and serious. Merry is also somewhat mischievous, teasingly. However, he is extremely empathetic towards his friends, expressing anger and sadness whenever he sees them suffer. When Merry was first revived as a Machia, he was initially deeply insecure about his mechanical nature out of fear of being rejected. Nowadays, Merry has become more comfortable with being a machine. Being a cat, Merry has a fondness for eating fish and is uncomfortable around dogs. Merry often uses the catchphrases "Aye" or "Aye sir" as a form of affirmation.

Lore: Originally, Merry was an Exceed from Extalia. Merry ended up befriending a researcher from Talaz Lagaar that was conducting field research on the mainland. The two were inseparable and went on many adventures together. Sometime later, an accident occurred where a bandit tried to rob the researcher. Merry ended up protecting the researcher, but the incident nearly killed him. The heartbroken researcher rushed to Talaz Lagaar with Merry and revived him into a machine. The two continued their adventures for many years after till the researcher passed away from old age. But before the researcher died, he made Merry promise him to continue having adventures without him.

Requirements: In order to use Merry as Merry Blasters, the user must have both hands available to them. The user cannot wield a single Merry Blaster. This means it can either be done when the user has no items in the Weapon and Off-Hand slot, when the items in those slots are destroyed, or if the user sheets the items in those slots to temporarily open up their hands.

The blaster spells listed below have an individual cooldown counter per blaster e.g. Merry Blaster Shot (B-rank) can be used with the left blaster and enter cooldown, but it can still be used with the right blaster before entering cooldown on that blaster.
