As Kai walks the streets of Magnolia in normal clothes arms wrapped and gloves on but no cloak or mask he sees that some of the city folk are starting to set up thinks and Revy wants to get a closer look so Kai follows after her wondering what is going on, as he had just spent a few days rest after a long training session in the woods that went well butt had pushed his body a little to far, he notices a man that is leading it and smiling and laughing with the people that seem to be gliding around him as they set up and he starts walking toward the man, the man sees him then quickly hurries to Kai with a regal smile and a greeting he asks if Kai can give him a hand and he would be paid as well as get to enjoy the party for his daughters birthday. Kai nods accepting cause he should help out since the man has an air about him.

Revy is excited to help and she runs off and helps children with what they are doing and Kai helps get some of the higher up pieces in place and hold ladders for the folks that need it, they smile and they thank him, he wonders who the man is, Kai doesn't know much if anything of the royalty or upper crust of the country, but he does his best to fake it when he needs to so he doesn't seem to much of an out cast among the people, but he really can't place the man, but the people seem to respect him and he guess that is all that really mattered in the moment as he kept helping keep things up and hanging and he ends up catching a woman that fall off of a ladder and he places her down and she looked up at him making eye contact with his hazel eyes, she goes red in the face and she bows thanking him and rushing off. Kai is confused by it but figures she is just embarrassed from falling like she did and he shrugged.

Kai gets back to finishing up some of the hanging decorations, then he is asked to help move food and setting the tables and he smiles and he hopes that this party goes well, for this guys daughter as he has seen these people show him nothing but respect as he was working right along side them as well and he stopped to take time to tell them how well they were doing, the food smells heavenly, this guy seemed to be a man of many wise thoughts and feelings. Kai kind of feels bad for having no idea who this man is and he doesn't want to hurt the mans pride by asking so he will just play the fool to spare the mans feelings. He follows the instructions of the ladies and gentlemen that were heading the kitchen on where they would like everything to be placed and with how much care they needed it placed and to make sure how much space between each piece was needed.

Kai like a well minded crafts men makes his own adjustments to make sure he follows their orders but gives it his own little twist so it isn't so plain and boring looking and he looks to Revy who is hanging up some of the kids drawings on the posts to them cheering and clapping. Kai smiles and laughs softly to himself and he gets back to making sure everything was out and he gives Revy a boost to get the last of the pictures up and secured safely. He puts her down, she returns to the children and the man pulls him aside and talks to him about a few more things that need done and Kai goes and he gets them finished and he hears the man talking to the other who had finished and they all seemed ecstatic for the party and tell him his daughter is probably going to love it.

He hears the man say he hopes his subjects will like it as well, then it donned on him who this man was and now he felt stupid and he gets the last bits up and he wants to just get paid and get out of here as he didn't want to draw attention to himself or show his face to a big crowd, so he goes looking for Revy so, they can get paid and leave and he walks up to her and she turns to him and begs that they stay and enjoy the party as well Revy uses her big exceed eyes on him and Kai being the softy he is folds to her wanting to stay as he doesn't usually go to these things so Revy ends up missing out as well, so this time Revy will get to enjoy herself and he will try not to make a huge fool of himself and embarrass her.

When the party starts he is paid by the man thanking him gratefully, Kai smiles and stays off to the side he can feel someone watching him and with out making it apparent he looks around over the party and he sees the woman he caught looking at him but looks away as soon as he looks toward her, he figures she is still embarrassed by it. He finds Revy again and he gets into the food line with other guests as the daughter greets them all with a smile and thanks them for helping her father with the party and she is grateful and thankful for them as subjects. Kai helps Revy get what she wants and seated and he eats and parties the into the night with the rest of them before taking a very tired Revy holding her in his arm with her head resting on his shoulder her thanking him with a very tired voice before falling asleep on his shoulder and he leaves for home having enjoyed the day.
