Kaito

Kai is heading to the east forest to see if that disturbance that happened years ago is still out there somewhere in the forest but he hadn't seen or heard anything about it not one report of the thing he saw that day, he sees the mother of the rich boy he had been helping and he wonders why she is pacing outside of the forest looking like she is worried about some. He walks up to her. he removes his mask bowing and he speaks. "Anything I can help with ma'am?" the woman looks at him and her eyes get wide knowing he is probably the answer to her problem currently or at least he could be of some help to her if he will agree to the terms of doping it and why she needs it to be done for her, to protect her baby and his bestfriend.

She stands getting herself up straight and together so she doesn't look disheveled. "My baby wants to camp in the forest and I think he just wants to do it to fight the boar and show off to his friend, so I need someone to handle the boar and anything else that might be looming out there just waiting to hurt them or worse." Kai looks at her and he wonders how badly this must be hurting her with worry that her son is such a bone head and that their little lie has turned and snowballed into this horrible mess and if someone doesn't take and do this mission her baby might get his neck broken or gored because of them feeling the need to coddle him and make him something he isn't and couldn't be without a lot of hard work. He has a half a mind to just tell this woman that it is on her own head.

He sighs and figures it isn't very becoming of him if he were to deny this mission and let some poor dumb kid get killed because of his parents not telling him that he is not a mage. "Against my better judgement I will take this mission of yours." Revy looks at Kai noticing he is not really the same guy she partnered with to start with, he has started becoming callused and alone even if she tried she doubts she could get through to him anymore. He had started shutting himself off to others harder then he had when he first had come to fairy tail, he just felt alone and that no one really liked him or being around him. The barrier walls around his heart have begun to grow thorns and spikes to hurt anyone that would dare try to approach him. Revy is sad cause she thinks he has people that like him, but his ideals are just a little lofty for what friendship is.

The woman looks a bit unhappy with how he had just spoke to her and she was going to deny having him do it till she realizes he is probably her only hope at this time. She agrees with him doing the quest and so Kai sets off into the forest to hunt himself a boar and what ever else might decide to bare its fangs at him and he has no worries about this mission because he had spent the last two years training and getting wiser he doubts a boar is gonna be much of a task for him, he just hopes Revy doesn't get in his way cause if she does it will just be another loss. His heart feels cold and lifeless in his chest, why feel for others when you aren't like them, you are different and alone. The skin under the bandages on his arm is starting to turn pure black, he calms himself down and it starts turning back to normal. His curse is growing in power and it scares him more then it use to when he was weak.

He now understands why his master didn't want to have him train to hard or grow in powers, why she tried so hard to get him to give up this life and just be a no one, she probably knew far more about this curse then she had told him, it's power is growing as he does. He shakes his head snapping out of his thoughts remembering he is in the den of a decent sized and strength so he needs to focus on what he is doing or else he is gonna get himself killed and waste all the work he had done on him self over the two years of training. He takes to the trees and Revy clings tightly to him, hoping he doesn't recklessly throw his life away because he thinks he is stronger then he really is. Revy wonders why Kai didn't just fly and look for the boar and maybe a few packs of wolves that might be in the area but instead he is sticking to the trees.

Kaito

Kai catches sight of some wolves and he drops out of the tree buffing his own speed drawing his steel katana in one flowing movement going straight through the wolves and he looks at the bodies a twisted smile cracking his face. He runs along the ground and bouncing off trees and he laughs as he slashes through the other wolves he find then finally the boar himself shows up and starts digging at the ground then it charges at Kai who punches straight down into its head as he jumped over it, the beast slid across the ground and made a whimpering sound like it was very badly hurt. Revy nearly starts crying as Kai starts to carve up the beasts body and its screams as Kai cuts deeper and measured looking as the skin starts to pull back from the wounds. Kai looks nearly stone faced as he finishes off the boar. He hears something coming and jumps another boar is there and was probably the first boars mate which means their might be baby ones near by. He starts luring the other boar away and he tries to look for a nest of sorts that this boar might have been guarding cause they will die without her.

He doesn't see any kind of den so he just baits this boar to a different place in the forest so if they had done the deed the children can be born in peace and not be just hunted after. After losing the second boar he wasn't hunting, he returns to the campsite area and he clears any other animals and creatures that might have shown their face to her child then he exits the forest and he looks for her to pay him. He finds her trying to keep her composure by the forest, he guess she must of had very little faith in him being able to kill the boar or the smaller pack hunting animals that roam the forest but he just shrugs and doesn't worry about it cause he believed in himself. He walks up and she looks at him, she thanks him then pays him and Kai goes on his way with Revy who looks traumatized by what she just saw Kai do and she wonders if Kai is a monster now or was he always a monster but he is just no longer wearing the human face.
