Despite their being no actual blood ties between Odin and his heir, the Lich saw a lot of himself in Khalfani. Much like the Wizard Lord, they had started from very little. They hadn't been the strongest, but they had pushed ahead and become the smartest. Of course, Odin had gained the strength needed, but never by the simplest of means. His power had come from many different sources, trial and error. Perhaps he would've been stronger now if he hadn't left Lucifer; perhaps staying a human would've gained him a new level that he currently hasn't reached. But his true strength lay in everything that made him who he was. There were more ways to defeat an opponent than grains of sand on a beach. Sure, punching them a lot was one of them, but Odin was slowly mastering the other countless ways to make it happen. That was the important lesson.
Khalfani then spoke of their time abroad, in Desertio, and used that to explain why many members of Eternal Nightmare may not know them as well as they could. However, despite the reasoning, they gave apt descriptions of Venus, Erebus and Zane. Perhaps they didn't know as much about the three as Odin would have liked but, and this was the important part, everything they listed about the three was an advantage. The political ties of Venus, the raw power of Erebus and the demonic sway of Zane. They were right of course, and all the information was accurate, but it prompted a response from Odin. "Three good choices, but also the three most infamous members of the guild. You described my three founders." Odin took a moment to inspect his heir's reaction before adding, "I can see everyone in Eternal Nightmare being of great use to the goal, in ways most people can't even imagine."
Khalfani's next statement was wonderful. They were spot on once again, knowing exactly what they needed to ensure a smooth transition. A forceful takeover would never work. They need support from the other guilds, even the other countries. "Hildegard Sachsenwald, Jagarl of Bosco. Shbraqi of the Stellan armies. Kazimir Seiryu, guild master of Fairy Tail. Whether these people would take action in our name or not, they are sympathetic to our cause and, in some cases, personal friends of mine. But you are right, it is not enough. So what do you propose?"
