"I thought..." She squeaked, words not forming properly both in her brain and out her mouth. Her amber eyes slowly drifted from the grass below her up to the bottle of water being offered to her. He truly was an angel, just like the stories. Well some of the stories, others mentioned he had a seemingly evil streak. However, if that were the case would he not have just sent her to another dimension already? It's what she would have done if someone had the gall to insult her so blatantly to her face.
"Piper..." She muttered. Tentatively she'd take the bottle from the feline, fumbling with it as she tried to regain her composure. He was still inviting her to eat with him. THE KAITO was inviting her for a picnic!?! It was so unbelievable. Thoughts of not being forgiven washed away, it was clear he was trying to be her friend, she too regularly offered food in an attempt to make friends.
She didn't deserve such kindness after how she treated him, but the fangirl in her wouldn't let her turn down this opportunity to get to know the real Kaito, not just the one she'd heard and read about. With a big deep breath, she'd finally settle herself, picking up her staff with her free hand and confidently standing back up, determination burning in her eyes.
"Yes, food, good." The words still failed her, displaying her nerves despite her resolve to act confidently as she strode over and plopped down closer to the dragon slayer. She'd clear her throat a little, unable to meet his eyes.
"I apologise for my previous actions, I simply got carried away thinking someone might be dragging your precious name through the mud. I couldn't dare let them do that to my precious Kaito." She paused realising what she was saying and to whom, "Oh not that I mean you belong to me, just that I'm a big fan and I think you're super cool." Colour had returned to her face, a bright crimson this time as she grew embarrassed.
