It was a beautiful day; a day where most people would enjoy themselves with others and do fun activities. It was different for the Nephilim. He was the Guild Master of Paradise Dawn, and the guild he was in charge of was within Sieghart Mountains. This meant that he had to make sure to check upon the entire region from time to time. There was one place he had not checked ever since he joined the guild. This place was Sigmundir Passes; it was a place that was said to have been where people became victims to bandits. It wasn’t just that, but people easily got lost throughout this place.

It was an interesting tale and one that he was going to check up on it. There was more to this, the berserker had heard of stranger things happening recently. People spoke about a rift slowly appearing somewhere in the sky around the Sigmundir Passes. Yuurei tried to see if he could spot it from the location of the guild, but of course, he couldn’t see it.

That was why he had decided to check the place out. He, of course, wasn’t alone; No, he was with Renji who was walking beside him. The young Exceed had his items in his bag as they were walking together. He needed company and it was why he brought him with him.

While they walked through the place, Yuurei would hope that this rift was just rumors and nothing more.

“What’s going to happen if this rift is true Yuurei? Do you even know what to do to make it disappear?” He asked his friend.

Yuurei would rub the bridge of his nose when he heard this as he looked over to Renji.

“No, but I figured that I would check to see if it’s real first. I don’t want to bring people here if it’s a lie.” He said to Renji as he kept moving.

The rift in the sky was cracking and opening up slowly. There was something doing its best to get out. It had been doing this for a while, so the rift to this world would open and it would come out to unleash its power and wrath on this world.

Kaito stops dead in his tracks as he had sensed a dimensional distortion coming from the north and it had felt huge or that it was gonna be. He ran and he had scooped up Revy in his arm and he opens up a portal and he headed for the place that he had felt the disturbance at and he comes out into the Sigmundir Passes. He looks toward the sky, he wonders what form of creature could be trying to break loose with the side of the rift that had formed and he began to wonder if anyone was set to come through the pass today or if it was all gonna be a clear nice day. He sends Revy off to start scouting while Kaito stood and watched the rift, he doubted he would be able to handle what might be coming from such a mighty sized looking distortion in the sky.

Revy comes running back soon after and tells Kaito that she saw Yuurei and Renji not far from here and Kaito nods, he figures if anyone would know about this it would have to be him from the rumors he had taken over the paradise dawn guild from it's last master. He makes a portal to where Revy said she had seen them and he pops out of it near to Renji and Yuurei.  "You wouldn't happen to know what this is would you?" He walks toward them as he asked that question wondering if it is indeed in this mans head to know what might be trying to burst out into this world in what looks like.

He himself didn't know what could be lurking just behind the veil and he wasn't sure he would really want to find out even though he knows now he is gonna have to find out probably with his friend here what was about to birth out into the world from another dimension, he hopes it is not sort of colossal stone giant or something sent by his evil version of himself to try and murder him and his friends, he knows it is only a matter of time until his evil version finds allies of his own to help him try to take down Kaito and his friends if Kaito will have any when that time comes and he at least hopes he will have at least one ally by his side by then but he keeps people far from his side most times, he kept his eyes on what is happening in the sky.

Brone Heavyeaxe had finished his hefty breakfast before the majority of the guild had awoken so he wouldn't delay in his daily morning walk. He had fully donned himself in his armor set and holstered his battleaxes. Though there hasn't been a moment when he had ran into any trouble during his morning walks, he figured he couldn't be too careful, given the attack of the titans had really shaken up everyone in the region, people were still talking about the destruction they had caused. Luckily the valley was clear of dangerous of the earth, but the tear in the sky was a different situation.

The dwarf had initially thought the tear was caused by some mage that was testing their ability, possibly Kaito, but as the weird phenomenon was growing, he figured he would make his way back towards the guild. Eventually he had spotted Yuurei and Kaito just running into one another, "Oy! Kaito! Yuurei!" he called as he closed the distance between them.

"Kaito, tell me that portal up their is yers" Brone asked as he pointed to the sky, though his tone sounded a bit annoyed, his expression showed some form of concern, for as he looked upon Kaito and Yuurei, they both shared the same worried expression. Whatever this thing was, it wasn't friendly in any natural form, "Ye think ye can close it? Seems just like yer 'Here and there' magic" with Kaito's spacial magic, it could be possible, though the logic was simple to Brone himself.

Yuurei would continue to look at the rift. He was wondering what was going to happen, and what was going to come out of it. It seemed like he wasn’t the only one who had seen it or felt it. No, it would seem like a new addition to the people next to him would increase. The presence of someone was nearby, and when the berserker looked to his right, he would see Kaito and Revy. He would blink a few times, and he knew that Kaito was the reason behind this. He would chuckle nervously because his answer would possibly disappoint him.

“Nope, I have no idea, but I figured we’re about to find out.” He said pointing up to the rift.

It was clearly opening and whatever it was would show up any second now.

“So, it’s Yuurei and Kaito to the rescue to take on whatever that is.” Renji said as he had a smirk on his face.

Once Yuurei heard Renji’s words he would look over to Brone who had called out to them. It would seem like things were getting interesting now. This was good to have strong people around, but if faith brought them together, then it could only mean this thing was going to be dangerous. He heard Brone’s questions and that would have been a good idea. He looked over to Kaito, but the noise would happen from above them.

He never heard space and the sky rip open, but there was a first for everything. A talon would appear from the edge of the opening, and then soon enough the head of a dragon would appear soon after. The dragon would look around from the hole it created as if it were looking for its next meal. Yuurei’s eyes would stare at the dragon as he shook his head because he thought he had fought his one and only dragon last time.

“Well, this is just freaking great. Another damn dragon. This isn’t going to go well, so Renji if you can please.” He said to his Exceed.

The dragon would soon notice that three humanoid creatures and two cats stood not too far from him. He would step out of the rift and he would flap his wings to stay in the air. Lightning would start to crackle around him, and four orbs would find themselves floating around him.

“You’re the welcome party!? Are you the main course or just snacks for me to take!?” He asked them.

Renji would open his bag and Yuurei would be covered with a mask on his face, armor that covered his body, and two gauntlets on his hands. He had already kept the necklace, bracelet, and ring on him, so he was indeed battle-ready.

“Can we just talk this out!? Why are you dragons always quick to fight!?” He asked the dragon.

“I Aiolia will not talk with insects. I came to this world to seek food and destruction. I want to conquer this world and make it my personal domain. If you three stand in my way I will make your death painful as can be,” He said to the three of them wondering what they were going to do.

Kaito looked at the dwarf and he smirked as he asked Kaito if he could use his own magic to stop what ever was about to come through, the thought had crossed his mind but he knew trying to do that might just end up with a worse result after hearing Renji say that it is yuurei and he to the rescue he had to think that Renji may not be taking this fully seriously, plus now they have a walking tank on their side as well he knows he has the spells to keep himself out of trouble if what ever it is is hostile, but does he have enough to keep both of these two safe from the on coming onslaught if it were to come to it and he was ready to try his best to make sure they don't end up smears on the ground.
"Afraid I can not friend, but I can and I will do my best to keep us alive and to neutralize as much as I can to keep us safe."


As the sky cracks and the dragon soars out of it, Kaito knows this is a far stronger dragon than the one he had faced with Quilla in Baska when he helped save his goddaughter just by the size and the aura it gave off, but the dragon looked majestic as it flew around and as it spoke Kaito was impressed by its sheer size and the fact that it though that it was going to be able to handle them so easily. Little did it know it was up against the two most well known and famous mages in the land, one a dragon slayer and the other he heard was a monster in his own right if the rumors he had heard spoke any truth to him. They also have what he hopes is a very durable friend in Brone if the going gets tough he can maybe fling the dwarf on to the dragon to teach it a lesson with the weapons the dwarf carried, he looked like he was set to ride the dragon and carve himself out a piece of the dragon and keep it as a trophy to hang by some fire place to tell his grand children how he fought along side them. He can see Revy shaking a little bit at the sight of the dragon, he wondered if it was in fear or in excitement.

"Revy if you would please?" He laughed softly with a warm voice, the exceed hearing her name called by her partners voice snapped her out of it and she opened her bag and Kaito is clad in his gear, a straw hat upon his head, a cloak of red on his back golden armor on his chest, a belt around his waist and he was already wearing his ring he was now as ready as he could be for this fight to begin and for them to take down the giant of a creature that was about to make this a very rough party. "If we fall Revy, make sure you tell good tales about us in the taverns, because even if it kills me I will make sure this thing goes down with us." He knew that was pretty redundant but it helped set the mood.

Unfortunately, the rift was not Kaito's doing, nor was he able to closed it, which indicated to Brone that this oddity was something powerful and needed to be dealt with. Before the dwarf could come up with some ideas, a gigantic draconic head emerged from the rift, "Blasted lizard' Brone cursed and spit on the ground. He had hoped he wouldn't have to deal with another dragon, at least not for another decade or so, but his luck wasn't so fortunate, "Maybe we could close it before-" the dwarf didn't finish his sentence as the dragon burst through into their plane. The dragon spoke, Yuurei offered a friendly gesture and the dragon replied by referring to them as 'insects', "Ugh, not again" the dwarf was still annoyed by the constant harassment from the previous dragon he and Yuurei had fought.

"I guess there's no talking to the overgrown lizard" Brone slipped his blue helmet onto his head and drew both his battleaxes while the rest of his team prepared themselves. He then began walking away from Yuurei and Kaito, trying to gain a bit of space and distance. Regardless of his confidence in his new abilities, he figured such a mythical being needed to be taken seriously, so he planned on resorting to his old tactic of either drawing it's attention while others attack or if it turned away, allowing an opening for the dwarf.

Aiolia then moved. He dropped from the sky, diving low and right before he hit the ground, he altered his course and darted towards his opponents. Such a far distance in a short amount of time showed off his power. Initially, Brone was ready, but as he watched the massive beast get closer as the seconds tick, the realization of the size of the dragon was worrisome. As Aiolia got close, his massive right clawed hand surged with electricity and sank it into the ground, tearing it up as he flew by as if creating a long trench. Brone lunged out of the way just the claw came close; the electricity, surged loudly, as if a thousand birds had just flown by him; he then felt the hairs upon his body stand up. Statically charged or not, Brone didn't hesitate, as he got back onto his feet, he swung his golden axe and the blade swiped against the massive side of the dragon, leaving a long mark, but not breaking through the scales.

"Damn the tough hide" he cursed as he ran about, keeping his distance while trying to make his away back the dragon and out of his line of sight. He recalled how difficult it was to break Astarot's red scales, though he noted that he was using a steel axe which paled in comparison to his new weapons. The dwarf was sure that one swing from his golden axe would decapitate the red dragon or at least clip his wings, but this dragon that went by the name of Aiolia was on a different level.

Yuurei would see that Kaito had also had his equipment in the bag that their exceed carried. It was interesting to see the armor they wore. They both had the same armor piece, which made him happy to know that he had chosen the right piece of armor. Still, it would seem like they were all ready to stand up to this dragon. His intents were straight and blunt. It seemed like he didn’t care about telling them what he was going to do, which meant he didn’t see them as a threat. It made him want to prove something to this big-ass dragon.

The last thing he heard Kaito say, would make him chuckle. There was no way they were going to fall today. He had things that he had not to finish, and he wasn’t going to let this stop him. His knuckles cracked without him touching them.

The attacks would begin, and Aiolia’s first victim was Brone. Yuurei’s face was serious and, but he knew he couldn’t defend his friend. He would have to do that on his own. The light mage would see things happening, and while those two exchange blows, he was readying himself. Two magic circles would appear floating above his hands and the stars that came out right after would enter his body without a second to waste. The Nephilim would feel the power surging within his body, and he was now stronger than he was before. While this happened, Yuurei’s eyes would turn golden, and his wings would sprout from his back.

He was now ready to destroy this dragon, however long it took. Aiolia would feel the blade of the dwarf strike him. It hurt, but it wasn’t enough to deal the blow needed to take it down. The dragon figured that these insects weren’t just insects. They didn’t coward from his sight, and hell the dwarf didn’t hesitate to attack him.

His eyes looked over to Yuurei as he felt his presence more now than before. When he looked over, he saw wings, and he automatically assumed that it was a Seraphim just from the sheer power. Then he noticed the light aura he presented was less than that.

“Ah, so you’re not just an insect! It seems the Seraphims, blessed you, or are toying with you! They are sick bastards who think they are right no matter what they do!” He said this as the three orbs would spin around in front of the dragon.

It was then that Aiolia would open its mouth and he would shoot out a mix of lightning and plasma out of his mouth and straight to the three orbs. When it hit the orbs, it would become stronger and wider as it would be sent straight toward Yuurei.

The light mage was quick to move when he saw the energy gathering from Aiolia. He would do his best to avoid the monstrous blast as it was coming straight toward him. He would barely make it as he would feel the burn and shock from his left-wing. Still, he didn’t let up as he kept moving straight toward the Dragon.

When he got close, Aiolia was surprised that this man had approached him this close. Yuurei would launch a jab straight toward the Dragon and he would land his hit. Aiolia was sent back five meters as he felt the destructive force behind that attack. He would growl from the pain, and it would seem like he would have to take this seriously.

“You three do not fear me?! I will make you fear me then!” He said to them as he was angry.

He watched as the dragon took a nose dive toward the dwarf and he saw the dwarf connect with it but it nearly looked like a glancing blow and he readies himself and he watches as the dragon was focused solely on Yuurei who was really being the front man of this group and he knows he has to do this best to support them in this time of need rather he appears to phase someone through an attack or to attack himself in that moment and he knew this was his time to make his move while the dragon was focused on yuurei. He used his ring which lit up and he heard the voice of the elf that made it as it cause him to dash forward five meters as he transformed to his wild dragon force form his skin turned to a shiny grey scales along his body his teeth turned more pointed and fang like, his eyes slitting looking more dragon like than human and him getting about half a meter bigger and he looked more dragonoid like in appearance. He hoped his new look didn't freak out his friends that he is currently working with on fighting his dragon that was clearly meaning business.

He pointed his hand where the blast was going as it passed Yuurei and he gets rid of it with a warp field, so there was no extra damage to the area. He lands so that he is in range of the dragon and he points his finger no magic circle appears, a dragons roar rings out. A portal rips open above the dragon and a dazzling dimensional High-dragon energy blast bursts forth from the portal in an 8-Meter Diameter AoE on top of the dragon. Kaito knows his will not be enough but he hoped that it would be enough to help soften up the dragons scales a little so that Brones axes will will come into bat.

He feels this might have gained the dragons ire toward him, but he knows he works better as the distraction then the other two who he can tell are more powerful and in his wild dragon force form he can take more of a hit then he usually could. "Come on you over grown lizard come fight some one more your kind!" Kaito knew this was a cheap tactic but he knows he has to look cool and pull his weight here as he is in front of a guild master and one of their right hands and he has the image of Fairy Tail to up hold.

He points his sword at the dragon and if it comes at him he was gonna jump on it cause his sword will turn to it's weakness if he clashes with it's scales and he knows that he can make this fight a tiny bit easier if he can break a few of the scales if not a side worth of them to open it up for Brone to cut it open or to clip one of it's wings for the team to keep this on the ground where they will have the advantage cause Brone will be able to reach to get in some licks for them. He is ready for this clash with the dragon he just hopes he is sturdy enough to not have his arms break when he makes contact with the dragon.

A flash of light drew everyone's attention for a moment. It seems Yuurei had transformed into his Nephilim form; this was probably the soonest Brone had witnessed the transformation in a battle, which confirms that the guild master is taking this very seriously from the start. Though Aiolia didn't hesitate in fear or concern, he had used three of his four spheres as mediums to empower his breath blast, emitting a powerful amount of plasma which nearly hit Yuurei head on. The rest of the blast had suddenly vanished into a conjured void, then another portal suddenly opened above the dragon, releasing a large blast of energy that rained upon Aiolia. Brone looked over to Kaito to confirm it was indeed him who had used such spacial magic, but not only did he confirm the spells, he witnessed the draconic form of the cursed young man.

If it wasn't for the dire situation they were in, Brone would take the time to admire such a fantastic and powerful-looking form, but seeing that the rest of the team were going all out, the dwarf figured that he too needed to make sure that each strike was empowered. So he raised his golden axe into the air and cried out "For Glory!" the magic within the axe surged and enveloped the dwarf in a greenish blue aura, strengthening him. He felt his adrenaline kick up as he dashed forward.

Aiolia shook off the attack that rained down upon him. It was truly irritating that these lesser beings were landing blow after blow upon him, but now he was getting a better idea of their fighting style as well as their magic. He intended to rid the field of the spacial mage so that his own range attacks won't be manipulated, but before that, he spotted the dwarf pathetically running towards him. "How pitiful that the smallest wields no magic, but axes" he scoffed as he raised one of his clawed hands to strike.

Seeing the draconic hands lift, Brone decided to push forward with his attack, he needed to test his own durability as well as his magics, so he tapped into the magic of his golden armor, "Frost Action!" A layer of ice formed over his armor, frozen water vapor trails behind the running dwarf as he continued with his pursuit. As Aiolia dropped his hand to slam the dwarf, intending to squash the pest, he his was deflected back with a cold strike. He looked upon his hand to see a graze upon his palm emitting frozen vapor as if he had just touched dry ice. The dragon sucked his teeth as he lifted himself into the air just far enough out of reach of the annoying dwarf. He wanted to strike at the thing and retaliate that bug bite, but he needed to tend to the mages.

Aiolia quickly darted towards Kaito, his speed through the air caused a small gust to kick up. Brone turned about and started chasing after the beast, albeit slowly in compassion, "Ye running just because of a Frost Bite!?" Brone taunted.

Aiolia beat his wings as hard as he could when bypassing Yuurei, to make sure his air pressure would blow him away, keeping him from assisting Kaito, "Enough of your annoying dimensional magic" he said as he breathed onto his left front claw, causing it to surge electricity before swiping at the lesser draconic figure, knowing well that the best way to handle him would be frontal attacks so they wouldn't be redirected, "Your form is a mockery, you are no dragon".

Aiolia was ready to get serious, but something would happen first. His eyes would look over to something coming straight toward him. It seemed like these vile fools didn’t care what he had to say. This attack was familiar though, the property from it as it would slam straight into him from above. He would move out of the way as it would disperse, and he would look at all three of them. He would hear the voice of one that was not fighting him from close. It would seem like this man had the scent of a dragon. It would seem like he had found himself one of those so call dragon slayers.

Yuurei would feel the pressure of air blowing him away, but he wasn’t going to allow this to stop him. He would spread his wings out to stop himself from moving any further. He would look over at Aiolia as it was trying to strike Kaito true. The Nephilim rushed straight toward Aiolia and he would come straight from the side of the dragon with both his legs pointed straight toward him. He was using his momentum to push the dragon away from Kaito.

His air missile kick would land on the cheek of Aiolia as it would push the dragon ten meters to the side and barely if not grazing Kaito. Aiolia would feel the blow once again from the Nephilim and would spread his wings to stop him from being pushed any further back. He would look at them again and he would roar so loud that all of North would be able to hear it.

“So, I’m starting to understand why you three don’t fear me! We have a Nephilim who seems to be blessed by the Seraphims, we have a man gifted with the power of the Dimensional Dragon, and we have a dwarf who seems to be brave enough to fight me because of experience, stupidity, or because he has the backing of you two! How many dragons have you men slaughtered?!” He asked before continuing the fight.

“I fought one and killed it. His name was Astarot, but yeah, you haven’t even seen what else I can transform to yet.” He said to Aiolia.

The dragon heard Yuurei’s voice and if his words were true, then he was pretty sure that the rest of them have killed a dragon too. If they responded to what he said, he would look at Yuurei first. The other two had hurt him, but that punch took the icing on the cake. He would cause lightning to come down from the sky as it would strike Aiolia. When it happened, the lightning that hit him would pulse around the dragon’s body. He was ready to show them what he could do, and he would soar straight toward Yuurei.



The berserker saw this, and his eyes widen when he saw how fast this dragon was. The charge from the dragon was quick enough to catch Yuurei off guard. He would be slammed by the dragon without hesitation. It would send him crashing to the ground below and behind him. When the Nephilim hit the ground, he would find himself rolling on the ground as hit armor had taken damage from that hit. Yuurei would cough up blood from the impact as he would get his ass up from the ground and onto his feet.

Yuurei would look over to Aiolia as the dragon was no longer moving toward him. Instead, he was heading toward Kaito. The man was known as a Dragon Slayer, so he wanted to show him what a real Dragon could do. He would fly toward Kaito but wouldn’t even attempt to attack him. Instead, he would fly above him, and he would call up lightning mixed with plasma from the sky as it quickly struck down in the direction of Kaito.

As the dragon neared, Kaito jumped back a bit so that he can swing his sword and he swung his sword, put Yuurei hitting the dragon moving it out of his swords reach, he was gonna have to figure out a different way to do this as the dragon probably wasn't going to give him another clean chance like that he was gonna have to make one himself now. He keeps his eyes on the dragon as it tangos with Yuurei and it curses them out for the fearless if not slightly brain dead fearless team that they are, this was an opening and Kaito readied himself he was gonna take to the sky himself if the dragon neared him.

He sees the dragon swat Yuurei out of the sky like an annoying insect and Kaito knew this was getting real faster for Yuurei the hero of the kingdom as that one was truly gonna leave a mark on the poor guy and his armor. When the dragon flew at him but pulled up a bit Kaito kicked off of the ground Grey scaly wings appearing his back without a magic circle appearing and then the dragons spell went off and Kaito phased himself through it figuring the dragon counted on that taking him out it probably wasn't watching in his way anymore and uses the spell as a sort of smoke screen and he appears at the dragons side and flies as hard as he can along the dragons body dragging the blade along it's body as he can hear the scales cracking as his blade that had swapped to the element that it was weak to hit them.

When he got to the are where its right wings are he made sure to hit the base of the wings with his sword and pointed with a finger on his free hand knowing that Yuurei is grounded at the moment so there was no risk unleashing his ultimate spell it tore through the scales and hit main wing joints cross the back and went through the body of the dragon harming and damaging scales as it went and he watches as the dragon fell to the ground Kaito getting closer to his limit turns back to human form so he can save some mana. He was lucky that Brone had left him a decent guide line along the beasts body so his sword slid right into the groove his axe had left and made fracturing them with his sword far more easier.

The dragon had fallen head first to the earth below and it hits the ground with a thunderous earth shaking bang and crunch sound. The dragon stands having half it's wings pretty much disabled and the one side of the dragons scales were busted to all hell. “You will pay for that all of you will!” The dragons voice thundered as it whipped around as now it was grounded and meant that it would have a bit harder of a time avoiding the damage that the three could give to it. “This will not end as you want it too!” It begins to focus again for another blast but instead of aiming for the two on the ground it aimed for Kaito with it's blast.

"I feel that this is gonna end just how we want it too!" He readied himself and the instance that the weaker blast then the earlier one the dragon was throwing left it's mouth it disappeared in a warp field, Kaito was not going to risk there being collateral damage to the area or anyone that was brave or stupid enough to get closer to see what was taking place here. Kaito hoped that this grounding of the dragon would open many doors for the dwarf that he knows is itching for a good piece of the action that was happening but was too far out of range to truly get to vent his feelings to this dragon.

Brone raced after the dragon... or more like hobbled as fast as he could with his shorter dwarven legs as he watched Aiolia attempt to strike Kaito but was intercepted by Yuurei. It was a moment the dwarf was excited about, he had watched the angelic figure strike at the dragon, dealing what seem to be a great blow, but the exchange didn't stop the dragon, the large beast simply batted Yuurei away with a powerful strike and still continued forward after Kaito. Brone looked over to the impacted area where his friend had fallen, he had been concerned at first, but when he saw Yuurei raise from the debris, his worry lessen, but only for a fraction, seeing the half-elf cough up blood was enough concern to show that this dragon had great power, possibly enough to destroy this region easily.

The dwarf, by this point, couldn't hold his Frenzy spell, nor his Frost Action spell, they were draining his mana and if he wasn't striking at the beast, then it would be a waste; the cyan aura that swirled around him faded as well as the layer of ice as he released the spells while he continued to run after the large beast. When Aiolia flew higher, the beat of his wings kicked up enough debris to cover the dwarf in dirt and dust. When the dust settled, Brone looked up to see a blast of lighting surge where Kaito was, "Damn it! Don't die on me, Kaito!" he called. Within the next moment, the energy blast dissipated and from the dwarf's point of view, he could see the dragon was jerking about, it was another second that passed that he could see Kaito circling about the beast like an annoying gnat, cutting him with the sword he had.

"Good one" Brone smirked as he noticed Aiolia's right wing gave out, he realized Kaito had struck at the base of the wing, a similar tactic to when the dwarf had fought Astarot along side Yuurei, because of the ability to fly, it was difficult to fight the red dragon, so whenever Brone had the chance, he would strike the base of one of the wings, with how hard the scales were, he had to repeatedly strike the same spot until finally the wing gave out, giving both him and Yuurei the advantage which led to their victory.

Now Aiolia began to plummet, so this was Brone's chance. He quickly ran towards the area where he anticipated the dragon would hit the ground. After the large beast hit the ground, kicking up enough debris to slightly obscure the nearing dwarf, Aiolia sent a powerful blast towards Kaito, to which the spacial mage had sent into another void.

"Annoying gnat!" Aiolia cursed. Suddenly something small burst forth from beneath the cloud of dirt; Brone had his golden axe raised, ready to strike at the dragon, "Your little toy is simply an irritation" he mocked as he opened his maw, readying another blast attack, knowing the dwarf didn't have any form of spacial magic to deflect it.

"How's about this toy!?" Brone yelled as the magic within the axe activated, the size of the weapon doubled, then quickly doubled again, surprising the dragon. The giant battleaxe slammed into the neck of the dragon, jerking the head back and causing the energy blast to shoot off into the sky, temporarily parting a portion of the gray clouds before the sky closed up again, "Ha! How's that for a toy!?" Brone laughed as the golden axe returned to it's normal size.

Aiolia's clawed hand slightly touched the red scar that now lined his neck, the scales there had been shattered and the surface of his skin was cut, even though it was superficial, a bit of blood began to slowly escape the wound. A vein was not visible on the dragon's temple. As a reply to Brone's question, he slammed his tail down upon the dwarf. The force of the strike was powerful enough to not only badly damage Brone's golden armor, but crack the ground beneath him. "Vile filth, seems like you have thorns" Aiolia raised his tail, feeling a stinging pain as if he had been pricked by a powerful weapon. He looked down into the crater where the dwarf laid dazed. He figured the armor he wore was somehow magically harming him whenever he physically struck him.

Regardless, the dragon turned his head to face Yuurei. He figured he needed to quickly attack each individual insect before they could sneak up on him. His eyes lit up as he began surging with power, the clouds above emitted lightning.

Yuurei wasn’t sure what was going to happen right now, but it would seem like Kaito was fighting the dragon right now. He was a Dragon Slayer after all, so it made sense he would have an advantage over the monstrous thing. Still, Yuurei would watch the dragon fail to destroy his friend, and the scene of him phasing, putting the dragon to go right through them was amazing. He wanted to yell and be excited, but he didn’t have time for that. Instead, he needed to get moving, so that way he could be used to his friends.

The Nephilim didn’t really take any damage, but his armor had taken quite the hit. The effect of his coughing blood was the aftereffects of the attack. Still, after an intense fight between Kaito and Aiolia, it would seem like Kaito had sent it straight onto the ground. He was moving then as he was getting ready to close the gap between the dragon that was now on the ground. While doing this he would see Kaito stop the dragon’s attack from moving throughout the land. He was impressed and he was glad he was a friend. Yuurei did wish that his friend joined his guild, but it seems like that may never happen.

His distance was getting closer to Aiolia, but it seemed like someone was there first, and it was Brone. His eyes widen when he saw the golden axe getting bigger and bigger before Brone struck the dragon as well. It was just crazy to see something like that happen as he had never seen Brone use that spell before. When he was getting closer to him, it would seem like Aiolia’s attention turned to him. The Nephilim would only curse at this as he was really going to have to turn it up a bit. Still, if he used his ultimate transformation now it would only bring him down in the end.

Yuurei’s attention would move to the sky as he could see something was coming, but what was it? He didn’t know at first, but he was ready Aiolia would bring down a beam of lightning straight toward the berserker. He was on the move through and the lightning would miss. Of course, it wouldn’t stop there as more lightning would come striking down everywhere around the dragon.

“You aren’t welcome here!” He said as his running speed, would turn into him flying in the air.

Yuurei would dodge the lightning attacks that were coming down. He was doing his best to make sure that he didn’t get struck down. He was aiming for a particular location. It was the open spot where Brone and Kaito had created. The light mage wasn’t a dragon slayer, but he had the brute strength to scare anybody he fought. It was then that Aiolia would see the man getting closer to him. He would try to fly, but at the moment his wing was no good. Yuurei would punch the dragon right on the throat and blood would come out from it.

Aiolia would try to scream and choke on his own blood, and he would drop to the ground. The Dragon was lifeless now or at least that was what it seemed. The four orbs were still moving around Aiolia, and soon enough one of them would disappear from existence and a bolt of huge lightning would come crashing down Aiolia. The lightning would blind them for an instance except for Yuurei. He would be able to see it as light couldn’t blind him. He was surprised, but the dragon was alive again. The wounds it had were healed and he was in the air once again.

“You three are no insects or vermin! If you can do that much to me then I need to be careful and unleash everything I have!” Aiolia said to the three of them.

Seeing the two go for the dragon he was excited that he had finally done something right for once and had grounded it for them so they can handle the creature better but he was feeling gassed and he hoped this fight would be over soon so he could replenish himself and maybe spend some time with these two as maybe he was having a change of heart in joining his guild as it seemed that they had team chemistry. He sees Yuurei go in for the killing blow on the dragon and he thinks it is over so he had made a move to go low to return to the ground but then there was a horrible flash of light blinded him and he had a horrible feeling about this but he knew he had to back up in his blinded state.

The thought of joining them in their guild was now gone from his mind as the dragon seems to have returned from the dead. "What are you a god damn cat?" He knows the same plan of attack will not work as the spell he used was very strong and it causes to much strain so he can not cast it again so this time it is fully gonna have to be on them and his one other attack spell to do this, this dragon will be far more careful of him getting close with his sword he is gonna have to play defensive till he can recharge enough to use his phasing again. He sighs knowing that isn't possible and he can't just stand back and just let the other two risk their lives and he flies straight at the dragon as hard and fast as he can his sword out in front of himself like a horn of sorts and he was more aiming to kamikaze himself if he can get a clear hit.

As he got close the dragon knowing what Kaito had just done to him swung swiftly in the air with it's tail to hit Kaito out of the air Kaito moves his open palm and he disappears then reappears on the underside of the dragon and he thrusts his blade up into the belly of the dragon and actives his ring's dash spell again and it forces him to dash along the belly of the dragon with his blade leaving a trail on the belly of the huge beast it wasn't deep enough to do much harm but it made a semi-weak spot for them. He knows it really doesn't mean much cause he can't break the wing like he had done last time but he hoped it was enough to have given them a flaw in its armor to aim for even if it was only a shallow cut but it was a weak point none the less.

Kaito is then swatted by one of the dragons flailing legs having felt Kaito cut them open a bit knocking Kaito away toward a mountain pass wall but Kaito thinking fast opens a portal to his personal domain before he hits the wall and he pops out in a different place and he is breathing heavy his armor took the blow but that still hurt a lot even if it hadn't hit him square. He yells to the other two from where he is standing as his wings had disappeared when he had been hit. "I am fine! Give him hell!" He is feeling a bit winded from the hit he had taken he just hoped above all hopes that he had done enough there to spare him a few seconds to catch his breath.

Brone groaned as he tried to find his center of gravity. As he finally got to his feet after teetering and nearly losing balance, he blinked a few times before taking a look about. He found himself in a shallow hole and it quickly dawned on him that he took a strike from the dragon's tail head on. He then ran a hand over his golden armor to see it was cracked and dented and several places, luckily it was forged with layers in order to prevent shards and indentation from harming his own body.

A flash of lightning with the sound of sound had drawn Brone's attention back to the fight. He spotted the brilliant light of Yuurei's full transformation right before the angelic being attacked the throat of Aiolia, causing the dragon to fall limb. There it was, the finishing move that ended the great wyvern, "Woooo!" the dwarf cheered as he threw a fist into the air. He had never seen a being withstand the might of Yuurei's full Nephilim transformation; such a divine power was too great, even for a great wyrm such as Aiolia.

"I need a drink" Brone chuckled as he picked up both is battleaxes from the rubble, however, before he could holster them, the light from a surge of energy drew the dwarf's attention back to the body of Aiolia, though nearly blinding him, when the light died out, he took another look. The moment the dragon risen itself, fully healed, Brone's mouth hung open. Even if the dragon had some form of advanced healing magic; the attack from Yuurei should have finished the dragon off, that one punch was so powerful that it could practically be felt in the air. Aiolia's body went limp and collapsed, the dragon should have at least went unconscious in a near-death state, preventing him from casting spell.

"Whatever, just means we'd have to hit him harder!" the dwarf growled as he walked out of the shallow hole in the ground. Unfortunately, now that Aiolia was fully healed, his wings were able to support him as he took to the air again. When Brone spotted Kaito flying in for another attack, he positioned himself as close beneath the dragon as possible, however the spacial mage didn't manage to damage either of the wings as he did before, but he was able to break a line of scales that protected the belly of the beast, though Kaito was then struck and sent flying out of sight of the dwarf. With the call from Kaito, confirming he was alright, Brone put his focus back on the dragon.

Aiolia was looking about, in search of his enemies, but when he had glossed over the dwarf, Brone realized the wyrm was trying to focus on Yuurei, "Oi ! Ugly!" he called to the dragon, trying to grab his attention, "I'm down here! Are ye blind?" But Aiolia ignored him, knowing the smaller lesser being had no ranged attack, so was no immediate threat while he himself continued to remain airborne, "I guess I would hide that ugly scar on my neck too if a small creature embarrassed me that way; Astarot was more a tougher fight!" that struck a nerve.

"Silence!" Aiolia didn't want to entertain the grounded thing, but it was a vile disrespect to be compared to another dragon, especially of one who's name was not known, which meant the red dragon was too weak. The dragon then opened his maw, the three orbs circling about him flickered as energy gathered. Brone realized this and understood that he was directly below the beast and had no time to dodge out of the way of such a blast.

The dragon released a wide column beam of energy that shot down like lightning upon the spot where Brone was. The suddenly, the column somehow dissipated all at once. It took Aiolia a moment to question what went on, but once he looked down upon the dwarf and saw that the lesser being had favored his green axe as if he just swung it, it dawned on the dragon that the dwarf had dispelled his attacked. It was now an annoyance that even though this dwarf was no mage, but he had an arsenal of magic that interfered with the draconic greatness.

Yuurei couldn’t believe this shit. They had done all of this for what? Aiolia had somehow managed to bring himself back onto his feet. Shit, it seemed like the dragon was as good as new. He rubbed the back of his head because this was going to be annoying. He wasn’t sure how much energy Kaito had in the tank, but he and Brone could keep going. The dwarf was a fighter and not a magic-user, so he didn’t have to use the spells affiliated with his equipment to be useful in this fight. Kaito had a sword, which meant that his friend had some combat experience with weapons.

Spells were important, but they couldn’t go wasting their mana like that. Yuurei would sigh as he would get into a fighting stance as this was going to be a long one. Still, he watched Kaito fight and it seemed like he had damaged Aiolia from beneath him. He wasn’t just paying attention to that, but he was also looking to see if there was a way to exploit the dragon somehow. There was no way he just healed himself the way he did without consequence. He was a fighter, but he was also very observant, and as his friends fought against Aiolia he kept searching.

It wouldn't take long for Yuurei to spot it. The orbs that spun around brought a flashback that happened not too long. When he attacked, he used four orbs to attack them. Still, right now there were only three of them at the moment. Where did the fourth one go then? It should have been around as he watched the orbs float around him. He had a theory, but he wasn’t sure if he should announce it to his teammates right now. He would relax and calm down right now as figured he would test the theory out right now.

His body moved off the ground as his wings had taken him off the ground. Yuurei’s eyes focused on Aiolia as he started moving toward the grand dragon. He was looking for Yuurei, they were all annoying honestly, and AIolia noticed that. Still, there was one of them that dealt so much damage with just one hit, that he feared him a bit. It pissed him off to have such a feeling, that he was a dragon that matched Seraphim and Demon in power, so why was this low Nephilim so destructive?

It wouldn’t take long for Aiolia to find Yuurei and his attention had gone to him only because he was moving toward him. Aiolia would move away from him and he was going to shoot another attack. This time it was toward the Nephilim. The dwarf couldn’t protect his friend from the sky, there wouldn’t be anybody canceling his magic. The three orbs would spin around together again and it would generate a combination of lightning and plasma. It wouldn’t take long, but he would shoot it straight toward Yuurei.

The berserker went straight toward the attack, and he would swing his left hand straight into the blast. The lightning blast would start turning into gold and it would continue to solidify and then it would start to crumble as it would turn into gold dust. When this happened, Yuurei would come out of the dust as he was soaring through the sky as fast as he could. Aiolia was surprised and infuriated that the dwarf wasn’t the only one with such an ability. Before he could gain distance from Yuurei, the Nephilim was right in next to him and he swung with all his might as would attack an orb next to him.

When the orb was hit, the orb would start to crack and soon enough it would crumble. Aiolia saw this and his eyes widen as he took an even greater flight as he didn’t think they were smart enough to do something like that.

“What are you doing?! You incomplete creature! You need to know your place!” He said this as he would start gathering lightning from the two remaining orbs and would started to shoot lightning everywhere without stopping.

Yuurei would start moving around as he had dodged the incoming attacks for the time being.

“Guys it’s the orbs! They are what keeps him alive! There were four of them and after we took him down the first time, one disappeared!” He shouted to them as he let them know, but he wasn’t sure it would be easy to take the other two down unless he went all out.

Still, right now all he could do was continue his best to dodge the lightning attacks that were coming down from the sky.

Kaito watched as the others tried their hardest and he saw the dwarf completely negate an attack to himself and he knows they are doing what they can against the dragon that just seemed to be a menace to them at this moment, he had noticed something strange about the way the dragon was acting when the first orb had burst and nearly blinded them but he wasn't sure if it was the life force of the dragon or if they were second sources of mana they used to amplify its power but he knows he is going to have to probably grab one of them from the dragon into his personal domain to try and keep it away from the dragon to use, cause if they source is gone then the dragon will be weaker because if those are it's weak point then it is a smart guess that if he can get it out of range of the dragon then the dragon will be weaker.

Yuurei screaming that it is the orbs concretes it in his mind, he needs to get up there and get one of them away from the beast then it will be weaker for them to be able to finish it, but he has no idea what the thing will do to him once he grabs it, will it die when it is out of range of the dragon or will it react negatively to being torn away from the dragon, if it is working like a revive then he guesses that stealing one means he steals the dragons life, it might mean he will gain more power from this event with them. The dark voice in the back of his head says to do it and to use it to tear apart the world as they know it. Kaito shakes his head trying to get the voice in his head to shut up and let him focus. He starts running and he keeps his eyes on one of the orbs.

He was gonna steal one and hope that it forces the dragon to panic long enough to make an opening for Brone and Yuurei. He doesn't care if he himself dies here but he is gonna make sure that the othe two live at least, cause he knows Nimbus and Renji will make sure to take good care of Revy if he does die it was clear both of them liked her. He pushes off of the ground he keeps his focus on the orbs and he makes sure not to accidently get into Yuurei's way and to keep himself out of the dragons line of sight and attacks. He finds a safe place then he opens his hand pointing it and one of the orbs is sent away to his personal domain through a warp field.


The dragon lets out a very angry roar and swings around looking right at Kaito. “Give that back you filthy human! I will kill you and reclaim that!” He knows the dragon isn't even really gonna come for him as he needs to handle Yuurei first before he breaks the last Orb and the dragon will be on it's last legs and be at their mercy, because by then he will be able to go all out and not let this over grown lizard think it is the top of the food chain in this dimension where there are monsters of all races in it. Kaito decides to back up a bit so that if need be he can start dodging attacks but he knows that it will take a lot to make the dragon to ignore Yuurei at this point for more then three seconds. He just hopes he is being enough to the dragon to give his allies time to think and get themselves on the right path cause he is just flying by the hem of his pants in this fight.

As amazing as the spellcleaver is when negating that powerful column of plasma, Brone was still left as the only one grounded. He figured with that show of counter-magic, the dragon would focus him and hopefully close the gap between the two so that both sides can have a proper altercation in melee combat, however Aiolia decided against entertaining the dwarf, knowing a grounded enemy with no range utility poses no threat. Brone grunted in anger and even stopped on the floor, frustrated that this was proving more difficult than the fight with Astarot; at least the red dragon fought in close proximity.

The only thing Brone could do was watch as Aiolia and Yuurei faced one another again. Instead of dodging the erupting blast from the maw of the dragon, Yuurei faced it head on and shattered it into a golden shower of dust that the dwarf promptly avoided. The half-elf preceded, not stopping until he reached his target. Initially confused, the dwarf didn't understand why Yuurei attacked one of the spheres until he announced it.

Brone scratched his beard with the blunt edge of his golden axe as he began to count the remaining spheres. He began trying to recall the amount the dragon had when the fight started, however the problem was that he wasn't even fully aware that there were spheres accompanying the wyvern, let alone four of them.

"I guess we should focus on destroying the remaining..." Brone counted, though finding it difficult as they moved, the spheres that orbited the dragon, "Two energy ball things... no wait..." he said to himself as he recounted and realized there was only one circling the large dragon. He then began scratching his head with the blunt edge of his green axe, clearly confused. "We killed it" Brone shouldered his golden axe while beginning to count on his fingers, "Yuurei broke one" he extended his second digit, "And there is... one left floating about" another digit is extended, but he couldn't account for the fourth sphere, "Oye! Yuurei! Ye sure he started with four!? I only see one left!" he shouted over the intense battle. Poor oblivious Brone didn't notice Aiolia shouting at Kaito about 'stealing' one while he was counting.

"Whatever! Doesn't matter! Just knock him out of the sky so I can beat his face in!" The dwarf called out, finally getting tired of trying to calculate anything during a battle, "I mean so I can beat the ball's face in! - I mean-! Ugh! Never mind, just drop him to the ground!" Brone was getting frustrated, all because the dragon decided to bring math into a battle of strength and magic. Then the dwarf questioned whether or not magic fell into the category of strength or math, "Well I use my strength for my magic" he scratched his beard as he thought to himself, then he turned to Kaito, yelling in the distance, "Oye! Kaito! Does magic use math or strength!?" this was obviously not important to the situation at hand, or it could be, he wasn't sure, but what else could the dwarf do but wait until the drake decide to drop from the sky?

Suddenly, an array of energy blasts emitted from the dragon, scattering and striking different places all around, not having an actual specific target, but to try and catch anyone. A blast struck Brone upon the head, cracking the helmet he favored. He stumbled a bit but managed to get his focus again, "Ye damn blasted lizard!! Get don't here so I can knock your... balls around!" The dwarf struggled to find an insult but realized he botched it and got even more frustrated.

Aiolia had one orb left. Well, he still had two until Kaito destroyed it, but the last orb was the most precious of them all. The trio didn’t know this, but without the orbs, he couldn’t stay in this realm. It took him a while to develop them, but now it seemed like they understood what was going on. He would look over to the final orb that was floating in the air, and even though he was angry at Kaito, he needed to make sure this last orb didn’t get destroy.

The lightning Dragon would move straight toward the orb as it didn’t move with him this time. He would swallow the final orb into his stomach as he would look over at the three of them.

“Feel my power!” The dragon’s body would become much scalier than it was before.

Aiolia’s wings became longer than they were before and his lightning became much more volatile than before. Yuurei wasn’t sure what was going to happen, but now he was going to have broken through the dragon’s body and get to the orb.

“I’ll do my best Brone. I’m not sure if it will be easy. Something is right about what he just did.” He would say to the dwarf.

Yuurei would look over to Aiolia and he would rush straight toward the Dragon. He used his wings to fly toward the monstrous dragon, but Aiolia would do the same thing. He would make his way toward Yuurei instantly and he would smack the Nephilim straight to the ground. Yuurei would bounce off the ground and his armor would shatter without a problem this time. It would leave Yuurei defenseless around there.

Aiolia wasn’t done though as he would shoot a beam of lightning and plasma straight toward Yuurei. It moved faster than it did before, and Yuurei’s eyes widen when he saw it coming. The light mage would punch right at it as it would turn into gold dust as he would sigh with relief. Of course, that would change when he saw a huge shadow over him and it would be Aiolia landing on Yuurei. The berserker was covered in Aiolia’s foot as he was attempting to crush him.

“I will show you three what it means to fight against me!” He said to all of them.

Yuurei would push as hard as he could to lift the dragon up and off him. As of right now, he couldn’t do much. The Nephilim figured it was time to go in his strongest form against this monster. It seemed like he had gone through another power-up. The light mage started wondering why Aiolia didn’t eat the orbs from the beginning but figured there had to be a catch. As for now, Yuurei’s transformation would begin as he wondered what everybody would be able to do.

He watched as Brone was starting to get a bit unruly about being the man out and that is being left out and Kaito smirks as he has an idea it is dumb and maybe dangerous, but he needs the dragon to be distracted. He then sees it get an upgrade from eating the last orb and he moved closer to Brone as he saw that the dragon was fully going after Yuurei again and Yuurei just punching the spell to make it break apart into gold dust. Kaito had to wonder if that gold dust was going to be a problem the environment or if it will just disappear soon after. He guessed if worst came to worst he could bag it and sell it off to Yuurei fan girls. He put his sword away. "Hold on to your butt and sorry for the horrors you may see on this trip. I sure hope your tray table is in an upright position or you are about to bang your dang knees on it." He said in a joking voice as he grabbed onto the dwarf and they disappeared for a few seconds then reappeared as he dropped the dwarf onto the dragons back.

He sure hoped the dwarf was ready and didn't get motion sick after being teleported like that so swiftly, Kaito could have probably have given the dwarf a little bit more of a notice before he had done that but he figured if the dwarf was chomping at the bit for a fight he best have been ready to get thrown neck deep in the shit and swim like a fish in it cause this dragon was upgraded and it was going to be even more a pain in the ass to deal with unless they come up with some masterful plan but he figures that this transformation is probably on a timer. They really probably only had to wait it out then when it dropped in power then swoop in

He flies down to see if Yuurei needed a hand or some kind of help, he doesn't know if it is gonna really be a good idea to show himself, but hey the dragon was gonna end up seeing him and feeling Brone hitting them in the back with those axes. "You need a hand or you think you got it with the big one on top of you?" He laughed softly and he got beside his friend while he transformed his body getting recovered in scales and his eyes turning dragon like and he looked more dragonoid in appearance to help him try and not get crushed by this giant dragons foot which had probably not been washed in over a fortnight with how much muck and dirt was on it, it was hard to tell if this was all from when it had touched down and forced down or if this was on it's feet like this. He can see why his friend was struggling to hold this giant foot up it was massive and the space and texture of this hand was hard to hold onto.

The dragon realized the situation became dire, but he wouldn't allow the enemy to attack his weak point any longer. The moment he swallowed the last visible sphere, Aiolia's body changed and the electricity that emitted and danced about his scales reflected that. Yuurei had pointed out the oddity of the dragon's change, but the dwarf was already aware of the bad omen; the grey clouds far above had darkened to black with the constant lightning flash that kept the battlefield lit.

"Do yer best and I'll strike!" Brone yelled to his ally as he tightly gripped his axes, watching the battle in the sky, waiting for his chance. The moment Aiolia touches the ground, he would dart forward as fast as he could to make sure his axes tasted blood.

Aiolia was faster, moving through the sky, only needing to beat his wings to cross the area to reach Yuurei, but with only one beat from his massive wings, Brone was able to feel the air pressure shift. He stood ready, stood waiting. The dragon knocked Yuurei to the ground and released a powerfully fast beam to which Yuurei had to negate; the dragon was fast to act and dropped onto the ground, slamming onto ground where the half-elf was. The ground shook at the collision. Brone was worried about his friend, but this was his moment, and as he was just about to run, Kaito had suddenly appeared. The dwarf was initially confused by what the dragon slayer had said, but the moment Kaito reached towards him, Brone nodded and before he could say a word, all about him vanished, all he could see was darkness and through the veil, he could spot movement in the distance; something slithering in and out of the black fog. The sound of something whipping through the air was what the dwarf usually described when he witnessed Kaito's spacial magic. This time the whipping sound was loud and constant, but no matter the disturbing image or sound, he needed to fortify himself; his friends needed him.

Brone blinked and he was back to his familiar world, but this time he had dropped from the air. He landed upon the scaly back of Aiolia. Something sudden like this would cause hesitation at the least; fear was there, as if being stirred by the dark abyss Kaito had taken him through, but just as the fear began to creep up to try and take him, Brone raised his golden axe in the air and yelled at the top of his lungs, the magic within the axe activated and the dwarf was enveloped in a cyan aura, his blood rushed, his strength increased as his muscles tightened, all the while biting away at the fear that tried to take him.

"Begone!" Aiolia's head risen and one of his eyes peeked back to view the dwarf upon his back. His wings then risen, encasing Brone in the center between the two as if he was within a miniature valley. The wings began to emit electricity, passing back and forth between one another. Their light increased with each passing second. Brone didn't know what the spell would do, but he knew not to allow the dragon a chance to let off any attack, so his left hand swung Spellcleaver, cutting the linked electrical band that connected the two wings, immediately negating the spell and stopping the surge.

"NO!" Brone yelled as he continued to hold his golden axe in the air, the weapon doubled in size, "YE BEGONE!" he yelled and the weapon doubled in size again. Then he brought down the golden axe down and the blade slammed onto the back of the dragon, breaking through the scales and digging into the flesh; as blood spurted, electricity surged as if he struck an electrical cord, but the dwarf didn't let go, he continued to press down upon the blade, intending to dig deep into the dragon.

Aiolia roared in annoyance and pain as he launched himself high into the air. He couldn't scratch the itch on his back, but if he managed to shake the pest off his back while in his domain, then either the thunder clouds will kill the dwarf or the fall will. As the dragon hovered just below the black thunder clouds, electricity surged all about the dragon. Brone's hair upon his head and his beard unraveled and stuck out as the energy licked him several times, but he didn't care, he continued to hold onto the axe that imbedded itself into the dragon's back. He intended to ride this beast until it fell dead.

Yuurei wasn’t sure what was happening, but his transformation had begun. He would start getting taller, and his wings would become larger, and another pair would appear. He would feel it all, but he could feel a new mask overtaking the mask that he was wearing. It wouldn’t protect the mask, but the look of it was no longer what they all saw before. While he was doing this, he would start pushing the dragon’s foot off him.

While he did this, he would look over to his side as he would see that Kaito was there. He had asked him if he needed help, and Yuurei would chuckle a bit as he had a smile on his face.

“Nah, I think I got it now, but thank you for asking. I see you also have a nice form. Let’s see what we can do with these transformations of ours.” He said this to Kaito.

Then it happened; he wasn’t sure what it was, but the dragon had squad Yuurei again. This time he felt his helmet crack from the damage. He wasn’t sure what made the dragon heavy, but it was basically Brone’s attack. Still, it just meant that Yuurei had to exert more strength to lift this bastard up. When he tried, Aiolia would fly up and into the air no, which free Yuurei from being pinned to the ground. He would get up and spread his wings out.

“Alright, Aiolia is going to pay for that. The bastard kept stomping on me.” He said as he would take flight into the air.

His eyes looked over to the Dragon and it would seem like he was going high up in the air. When he looked closely, he would see that Brone was on his back. It would bring him to wonder how he got there.

“It seems like Brone caught a ride on the dragon. Still, we going to have to do something about the dragon. Kaito if you can destroy the orb that you took in your dimension. After that, we should work together in taking this dragon down.” He said to him as he would look over at Aiolia.

Yuurei would start moving and after a few seconds he was moving at the fastest speed he would ever reach. His movements were quick, and he was doing his best to catch up to the dragon and the dwarf. It wouldn’t take long, but he would get to the side of Aiolia and he would punch the huge dragon on the side. It would push him ten meters back, and Ailoia would roar as lightning started going everywhere from the blow. Yuurei would move away from the wild attack as Ailoa would around, and then notice the Nephilim in the air.

“What is that form?! Who blessed you with such power?!” He asked, but felt the pain in his back.

He didn’t even let Yuurei answer this question because he had to get rid of the dwarf on his back. He started diving towards the ground to slam Brone onto the ground.

He hoped that he hadn't mentally scarred the dwarf when he took him through the dimensions to drop him off even if it was to be a way to get him in the fight but he shoulda gave them a better warning that they were going through there and he was happy to help him but that probably put Brone a bit on the spot to perform plus they had done so much damage that the dragon was taking them as a huge threat and that he had to take them out as soon as he can do it but Kaito wasn't that big of a threat but the Guild master of paradise dawn was to him.

He looked up as the dragon took off with yuurei not far behind him and he was told to make sure that the orb he had snatched had to be broken and he figures that this thing must have some sort of dimensional field if him shifting it out didn't fully do what needed to be done. "Yeah I figured I should let him have some fun too so I put him on the dragon so he can get some licks in, it isn't fair if we take all of the fun and get the glory, man has his pride to think of." Kaito smirks with a small laugh then he goes into his personal domain and he hits the orb with his sword while still transformed to shatter it and he jumps back out after it had fully broken to try to return to helping them with the dragon that was now seemingly just releasing his rage in the air.

Yuurei seemed to have knocked the rage into the beast and then he sees the dragon going for the nose dive and Kaito pushes off into the air flying faster in his transformed state to go and help the dwarf so he doesn't get slammed into the ground even though he could probably take it, so he can phase the poor guy out of being damaged. When the dragon saw Kaito getting closer to him he fires off another beam and Kaito dodges the blast and he gets on the dragons back as well as close to the dwarf as he can and he stabs his sword into the scales as he pulls himself closer to the dwarf. "Seems the weather is pretty decent up here huh?" He reaches out to the dwarf to try and help him to get away from this shitty turn of events. The dwarf had the choice of taking his hand and getting taken to safety or to ignore it and finish this fresh ride into hell and go out the way true men of his kind thrive for a battle hardened hard fought death against a giant blood thirsty beast and man would be proud to fight and die too.

He was gonna do his best to protect him cause it was indeed his fault that the dwarf was in this situation and he was gonna make sure that the sweet fellow didn't die here at lest not on his watch cause this will weight very heavily on himself and Yuurei if he died here so he hopes that he can stop this man of great honor and renown from meeting the might dwarf gods far before his time and he makes sure his sword if nice and deep in the dragons scales so he can brace for impact if the dwarf want this big heroic show of might. He knows he hadn't the time to try and cripple the wings again so this was truly in the hands of fate on how this split second happens in this last moments as the ground grew every closer and he has some flashes of his times with these two, so if he does die here at least he died in a form of bless and not regret.

Brone's hair stood out on end and as the seconds passed, the static electricity would eventually turn his hair into a white afro, making him look like a dandelion in full bloom. Lightning flashed all about him and the dragon beat his wings, sending strong gusts of air running down his back, but no matter how strong the wind was, the dwarf held onto the golden axe that was embedded deep into the back of the gigantic being. Aiolia, at one point, even flipped himself in order to drop the annoying dwarf, but Brone didn't shake free, he held on tight with all his dwarven might.

At one point, Brone had caught the sight of Aiolia, his large piecing left eye glared at him as he looked upon his back. Brone glared right back at the dragon, gritting his teeth in anger and determination. Then suddenly the dragon jerked so roughly that the dwarf nearly lost his hold on the golden axe that held him grounded on the dragon's back. It had taken him a moment to realize what caused the movement was an angelic being of great power. Brone was in awe of the figure who hovered by the dragon. Another second after, the dwarf wondered if this being was Yuurei with some kind of new transformation; it seemed possible, given the mask the angel had seemed similar to that of Yuurei.

The dragon dropped from the sky, diving downward towards the ground. Brone had wondered if the angel had knocked the dragon unconscious, but when he spotted Aiolia's awaken eye looking at him for a split second, he confirmed that the dragon's plan was to squash the dwarf. This made Brone tighten his grip even further.

Kaito once again appeared while in his dragonic form. He had offered his hand, to give Brone a way out and for a moment, the dwarf had thought about it, but his hesitation brought him back to the fight, "No, thank you, Kaito-kun!" he called over the roaring of the wind and thunder, "We need to finish this lizard off and I don't want to risk losing this chance; ye keep distance, and strike the beast when ready!" he gave his friend a smile before turning his attention back to the situation at hand.

The ground was closing in fast. Brone activated the magic within his golden armor. A layer of ice quickly formed over the cracked armor. The cyan energy continued to whirl around the dwarf, keeping his strength up as he was determined to win this battle of endurance.

Aiolia flipped onto his back at the last second, slamming himself into the ground so hard the region shook. The dragon then propped himself up on one clawed hand and foot as he got up from the cracked ground to look down into the ditch he had created. Brone, his icy armor fully shattered, leaving his body bloody with his clothing tattered, had laid there.

"Finally" Aiolia scoffed. But as the dragon looked up to the sky to find his next target, the dwarf's voice yelled out through the area to match the thunder that was now constant. The golden axe quadrupled in size again and once again had slammed into the same wound of the dragon, embedding itself back into the same spot. Aiolia roared in pain.

"Yer not getting rid of me!" Brone had blood seeping through his nose and only one eye was open given the other was swelling up, but even in his ridiculous state, his determination burned ever so brightly. Aiolia launched into the air again.

"You're dying here!" the dragon roared as he called for the lightning from the clouds above. A bolt of lightning struck down from the clouds and hit the dragon, but as the energy surged and Brone was being electrocuted, he held on with everything he had.

Yuurei was following Aiolia as he was diving straight down to the ground. He knew that Brone was on his back, and it seemed like he was trying his best to get to him. It wouldn’t take long, but Yuurei would see that Kaito had appeared on the dragon’s back. That was good because it meant that Brone had help. It also meant that Kaito had destroyed the orb that was in his dimension. He made his friend destroy the orb in his dimension because the dragon had come from a different dimension, so he figured the orb would still give him life even if it wasn’t in this dimension.

Still, the collision to the ground would happen, and when Yuurei looked at it, he would see a bunch of ice, and the armor of Brone on the ground. It would seem like the dwarf didn’t get off the dragon’s back after all. Then a whole scene happened between Aiolia and Brone, and the dwarf was on his back still. It was crazy, but soon enough he watched his friend get electrocuted again. It would anger Yuurei because he didn’t enjoy seeing Brone hurt like that.

He was on his way to Ailoia as it seemed like Brone’s persistence had taken the dragon’s attention. This was good because it meant that Yuurei could hit him with everything that he had again. The light mage moved quickly, and he would end up right next to Brone. He had a smirk on his face as he punched the area where Brone and Kaito had been wounding Ailoia the entire time. When he did that, the berserker would make the wound deeper than it was before.

This would bring Aiolia to roar as loud as he could and go on an all-out attack around the area. This attack would move straight toward Yuurei and Brone. He would be able to dodge it, but he wasn’t sure if Brone could do that, or even if he wanted to. The Nephilim would punch the first lightning attack that was coming toward them. It would turn into gold without a problem, but then a second lightning would come, and it would strike Yuurei.

Yuurei’s body would stiffen from the attack, and his body would arch back as if he was cramping up. His armor would be destroyed, his mask would under his transformation mask be destroyed, and his weapons would become damaged from the blow. He would feel it, but he stood there, so Brone wouldn’t get hit. Once the attack was done, Yuurei would fall onto the dragon’s back and next to Brone.

“I see you got him good on his back. We need to all use all our strength and attack this area together. If we can then we could probably pierce through together.” He said this to Brone and hopefully Kaito was there as well.

If they were down with the plan, Yuurei would get up from the dragon’s back and into the air as he is getting ready to dash straight into the wound he made bigger and hopefully with his friends by his side. This would be their final attack and hopefully, it would be enough to pierce through the dragon and kill it.
