Lector waited by the doors of the guild waiting for LeeAnn. She had a slow start to her day, but that was alright nonetheless. The impatient exceed could wait a few more minutes. The guildmaster exits from her office with her jacket in hand, coming down the stairway. "Finally you showed up" complained Lector. Leeann just rolled her eyes and waved for them to help exterminate this sea monster thing. Astera seemed to have so many problems with large pests. Supplies were running low due to the reduced amount of cargo ships coming into the port. Most of them would either get destroyed, loose the cargo, or both. It was a very dire situation. She had to help exterminate another sea monster.

The walk there was uneventful with kids tuggin on their parents to hurry or people seemingly stare at her with her odd features. Many of the citizens had already gotten used to Infinity Wolve's presence already. It was a mixed reaction, but nothing really ever bad happened to them or the guild other than the occasional rude comment or side glare. Humans just liked to stare at her lizard-like features. Her tailed waved side to side while she let her mind wander away

The stares she was immune to by now. It came with having unnatural features humans never see too often. Lector followed her trying to catch up. She was too lost in thought about random things like how kids were always impaitent or how the ocean taste more salty today than usual. "Lee? LEE", called the small exceed, tugging on her pant leg. She stopped and jumped a little at the sudden name call. Her eyes stared down at her friend who seemed a little annoyed with his tail tip flicking from time to time. "Yes?"

"You're going the wrong direction. The pier is this way," he pointed. His paw pointed down another street she just passed. A nervous laughter came from her inresponse as she corrected her direction. "Thank you, Lector. Where would I be without you" she smiled. The small exceed felt proud of himself as she skipped after her. It didn't take long before they saw the pier uphead. According to the sightings everything was near the pier where much of the population was. It was a cause of concern due to how heavy trafficed this place was around this time of day. It was always in the peak of the afternoon and never in the evening or morning.

She stared at the churning water from the waves that crashed against the pier's supporting beams. It looked completely normal to her. Though, that could be said for her own life being chaotic like everything else with her own sanity. She felt used by many people in her own daily life. Her and Lector stepped onto the pier, the water wasn't really doing much as she continued to stare at it.

The demi-lizard used her reptilian senses to feel for the vibrations with her tongue flicking in and out. Some bubbles formed underneath the pier, directly below their position. Lector stared at what she was. The bubbles trailed ahead of the large dock to more open waters. She was guessing it was leaving or going to attack where the creature had more room to do so. Slowly, the bubbles disappeared. "Think it's gone, Lee?" Lector glanced at the dragon slayer and stared at her.

"No... not even close. Whatever that thing is, it's planning something and I can smell it a mile away" she whispered. The creature burst out of ht water with eight tenticales with a kraken apperance. It had a nasty beak with two beading bird-like yees staring right at her.

The waves from the kraken surged through the whole area causing destruction. Spray of salt water coated everybody including LeeAnn and Lector. The exceed didn't like it one bit and shook the water off of his fur. Meanwhile, LeeAnn grew slightly irritated. She motioned for Lector to fly her out of the area and into the air.

"Got it, but I really hate being wet. Pumple him into a sushi roll, Lee" spoke the cat. She gave a side grin.

"That's the plan, ol' buddy" she replied to the flying exceed. Assessing the size of the creature, it was just as large at the pier itself. She could smell the reeking seafood smell from this creature. It smelled as if it was dying or bits of dead fish on it. She held her nose a little from the smell. It was so bad it made her eyes water.

"That smell makes my nose burn" complained Lector, holding his nose as well.

"You can say that again" she spoke. The guildmaster motioned Lector to move closer even if the smell was horrible. As they grew closer, it became clearer on the creature's radar that theyr were there above him.

The smell reeked like a rotten seafood restaurant. It just was burning their noses especially hers, with being a dragon slayer. They flew closer to the creature. LeeAnn stared up at the exceed with a small flick of her hands, the exceed knew to let go of her. Immediately, his tail slipped it's grip causing the guildmaster to fall downward. She felt Monty taking over causing her eyes to change to a brighter hue.

"Time to cause some damage" he cried. He moved her hands into a fist with one in front of the other in front of her mouth. A 2 diameter magic circle in front of her with a cone of fire came from the dragon slayer. IT would cause A-rank damange to the creature. Simply the kraken would scream and whipe of his tentacles and whip her into the water. Monty controlled her body to swiming towards the surface. Clearly, previously she didn't know how to swim before. It was always one of hte spirits controlling her, mostly Monty for fights and more violent situations. It seemed like now she was a vessel or a robot being controlled with no thought of her own, which scared Lector a bit.

She motioned Lector to continue flying around. His tail tied around her waist once more flying her around again for a second turn. This time she grabbed her wolvenhowl ring. It glowed and pulsed with magical energy causing her to transform into a fox orange wolf with untamed fur. A loud bark emerged from her mouth causing the feline to be startled. According to her plan, this was what she wanted.

The guildmaster fell onto of the monster and clamped down causing B-rank damage to the monster. Her jaws prevented her from flying from the monster waving his tentacles or appadanges around. Like a ragdoll, she was flying all over the place causing her body to motion limply, but her jaw remained tight on the flesh. She could taste blood from the monster which tasted metalliac and gross. It caused her to want to let go, but she would fall into the water. The guildmaster could see Lector flying back around to catch her. "Lee, let go!"

She loosened her jaw that made her start to fall as Lector caught her in time. He gave a small smile when he caught her. They really knew how to make a great team.
