Yuurei

Yuurei was working in this office. There were job requests that had come from the North. It would seem like there were a lot of people that wanted help from Paradise Dawn. This was good for them, and it had shown that the North had respected them. This was good, and he would continue moving them around. There were other things that he had to do as well, but it would seem like the person who oversaw all the deliveries was coming to Yuurei right now. It wouldn’t take long, but he would hear a knocking on the door. He would stop his work as he would lean back on the chair to see who it was.

“Please come in.” He would say this as he waited for the person to show their face.

It wouldn’t take long, but the messenger would open the door and then closed the door behind them. They would bow slightly to Yuurei before they approached his desk.

Yuurei

Yuurei would watch him move close to him. He could see that he had a letter in his hand. If he was delivering this to him, then it meant it was for him. He wouldn’t say anything because he figured it was for him. The man would put the letter on the desk and the light mage would take it. He would open it up and he would read through it. It seemed like someone wanted them to empty an entire building from the rat infestation that resided within it. He sigh because he didn’t want to do this, but knew it was how he was going to make money.

“Do you need me to do anything, sir?” The messenger would ask waiting for a response.

“Ah, yes you’re here, so I would like you to deliver these across the guild.” He would grab a bunch of jobs and he would hand them to him.

They had specific names on them for certain people to handle them.

Yuurei

The messenger would grab the letters, and he would be on his way. Yuurei would get up from his seat as he would continue his work later. He would take the letter and he would look over to Renji. Renji would run straight to him, and he would climb on his shoulder, and he would be ready to be on their way. The light mage would open the window and he would sprout out wings from his back. Once he was flying, he would close the window behind him before moving toward his destination.

He would push forward as his wings flapped in the air and he would soar through the air. He knew where to go because of the direction he got from the letter. It made things easier as he was going through the area quickly. With nobody to be in his way, he could go to Orchidia on a straight path.

Yuurei

Yuurei would continue soaring through the sky, but soon he would see the city in his line of sight. This was good and he kept going as he was waiting to arrive at the Horizon Apartments. It was the location where his client would be waiting for him. It wouldn’t take long for him to spot the district, and he would descend from the sky and onto the ground. Once his feet touched the ground, Yuurei would disperse his wings, and Renji would climb down to the ground.

Now that they were here, it was time to go on their feet. He didn’t want to affect the people in this city with his transformation. He was moving though as he was getting closer to his destination and soon enough, he would spot someone waiting for him at a building. The Nephilim started walking over to the man as he hoped he would give him the full details before he entered the building.

Yuurei

Yuurei kept walking and when he got close enough to his client he would stop right where he was. He would look at the person and it would seem like this guy was a hard-working guy. He could see the dirty clothes and it would seem like he earned this building.

“Hey how can I help you with this building you own?” He asked him curious to hear his words.

The man would smile at Yuurei as he was glad that he could come here.

“Ahh, Yuurei you’re here. That’s great. And since you ask, I can tell you what I need your help with. I have an infestation in this building. I got it for cheap, and when I checked inside there were some rat monsters all over the place. I need to get them taken out and then find out where they coming from and seal it.” He explained to Yuurei.

Yuurei heard these words, and he would understand what he wanted to do. He was fine with it because he had done this before.

“This shouldn’t be a problem at all. The only thing I can tell you is that I don’t want you to go in there until I’m finished working. So when I come out everything should be fine.” He said to the man.

He would nod when he heard this, and he was glad that this man was here. Yuurei would walk over to the door and when he got to the door, he would pause for a second.

“Also I won’t be able to seal where they are coming from permanently, so you would need to get it sealed after I do it temporarily.” He said to his client.

He would nod again as he watched Yuurei. The light mage would open the door and he would enter the building without hesitating. When he got inside, he would close the door behind him. The Nephilim didn’t like how this place smelled, but he knew that it was time to get to work.

Yuurei

Yuurei would look around and after a few seconds, he would walk towards the right side of this place. Renji would follow behind him and it would seem like they were going to kill some rats. They moved through the first floor of the building and while they were moving around, they could hear a lot of noises. It wouldn’t take long, but rats would come out of the apartments and started rushing toward the duo. He had gotten into a fighting stance and started running toward the rats as well.

When they got close to each other. Yuurei would sidestep and he would punch the first rat into the wall of the hallways. It would be sent flying and it would be killed just like that. A few more would come in his direction, and Yuurei would move around to avoid them from hitting him. When he got clear shots, he would strike a few of them and take them out.

Yuurei kept going as the rats were coming at him now. They were appearing throughout the first floor as their comrades were being taken out. It would seem like they weren’t happy about this. He was happy about this because it would be easier to find them. The light mage continued to move around, and he would take them out slowly, but surely. While he was doing this Renji was running around as he was making sure that none of these rats would be able to get him.

Still, it was slow, but Yuurei would be able to clear up the first floor of all the rats that were there. This was good, but it was just one floor of many. He checked the entire first floor to make sure that he didn’t miss any rats, but instead what he would do was find a bunch of valuable things for their client.

Renji would pick it all up and he would put it in his bag. Once they were done it was time to go to the next floor.

Yuurei and Renji would walk up to the second floor now. Once they got up there, they would start exploring the hallways. They wondered where the rats were hiding, but they would soon find out. There would be rats coming out from the apartments that were open. They would come from behind Yuurei and they would start chasing after him. This was fun as he would turn around and see them. As for Renji, he would run away as he didn’t want to get touched by any of these.

The Nephilim started running toward them and he would start the fight. He would kick one of the rats as it would fly to the ceiling before coming down lifeless. He would see the other rats and he would dodge their attacks as they were trying to get to him. He would strike them down one by one as they were falling to the ground with just one hit.

Yuurei kept going on with the fighting the rats, and while he was doing that, he would see that they were trying to help each other out. This was nice, but he pushed forward, and he would take them out slowly. The rats were making a lot of noises, but soon enough everything would come to an end. Yuurei would sigh with relief, and Renji would come running back to Yuurei. It would seem like they had cleared this floor of the rats that were here. Still, Yuurei would move through this floor with Renji as he was making sure that there weren’t any rats hiding.

He would find more valuable things and he would have Renji collect them. As for the rats that were on this floor, there wouldn’t be any of them left. This was good because now they could move onto the next floor and handle the problems there.

Yuurei and Renji would walk onto the third floor, and when they got there, the two of them would walk around. They were looking for the rats, but it felt like there weren’t any on this floor. They were wrong, and they would find out when they moved to the end of the hall. A bunch of rats would come out of the apartment at the end of the hall and would rush toward them. Renji would run away and Yuurei would start fighting them. He would start killing them off one by one. Their silence throughout his punches said enough about how strong he was. They would fall to the ground one by one.

The light mage kept going through with the fight and he would be able to take them all out eventually. He would have a smile on his face as Renji would stop running away. The two of them would look around the place and Renji would collect the valuable things on this floor. Now it was onto the next floor.

The Nephilim would go up to the next floor, and right there he would see a bunch of rats waiting for him. His eyes widen when he saw this, and it would seem like they were ready to attack him. Yuurei and Renji found themselves running away at first, but then when they gained distance, Yuurei would turn around and started running toward the rats. He would start attacking the rats without hesitating. Renji would see this, and he would stop running. He would watch Yuurei get to work, and it was working. The light mage was taking them out one by one and while doing this he was dodging their attacks.

He kept moving around as it seemed like they were never going to end. There were too many rats in this building. He didn’t like it and after a while, he would come to an end with all the rats on this floor. He would sigh as it was tiring, but he was going to get the work done.

The berserker would move through the fourth floor now. They were trying to see if they had missed any rats around this place. It wasn’t like that, and they had gotten all the rats in this place. Now that it was secure, Yuurei and Renji had moved through this floor and collected all the valuables that were there. He would look up to the stairs as they were heading to finish up the final floor.

Yuurei would make his way up to the fifth floor and while they were up there, Yuurei would find a bunch of rats. The Nephilim would go through fighting the rats on their own. Renji would be behind his friend as he knew that he would be able to take care of it all. The light mage kept fighting and he would take care of all the rats on this floor. Once he was done with that the rat infestation was over with.

Now that they were done with killing all the rats, Yuurei and Renji would collect everything that was valuable on this floor. Once everything was in Renji’s bag, they would go down to the first floor again. The light mage would make his way to the basement of this place, and he knew the hole would be there. When he got there, he would be able to find it quickly and once he went through a more thorough investigation, he would find something that could seal it for the time being.

Yuurei was done with his work, and he would make it back outside to where his client was waiting for him. Renji would open his bag and hand over everything that they had found there. The client was happy about this, and he would hand over Yuurei his reward for a job well done. Yuurei would tell his client where the hole was located, and that he needed a clean-up crew for the dead rats that he left throughout the entire building.

Yuurei was done with this job, and he would head home to Paradise Dawn.
