Kaito

Kaito walks into the down town area of the city and he is looking for the shop that has requested him for a protection mission, he wondered what kind of things might be in this area that would need to be protected from but then he remembers that he has down this kind of job before when he was just a fledgling guild member and some of those got quiet wild in their own rights and he was not gonna risk a repeat of some of the crazy things that happened to him as a small fish in a big pond now that he has also grown into a big fish himself and he knows that he can handle those things that he use to struggle with as a smaller piece of a bigger puzzle and he walks into the shop this hops seems familiar, is was the shop that he defended vs creatures of the night that disappeared once he had left it.

He knows that he is gonna have a decent sized fight he guessed as it looked like it was gonna be another one of those nights that just can't escape and he was gonna do this the best that he can and he realized that this shop only appeared on the nights with full moons so he will need to keep that in mind if he were to ever need to buy someone a cute scary themed thing. He walks up to the man who once again just speaks in riddles to him and he gets the understanding that tonight some very scary things might appear and the shop owner seemed very worried but Kaito just tells him his shop will be safe and he will not let anything be taken or his store attacked again and he smiles with fangs of his own and the man looked Kaito over and the man realized who he was and the powers he holds so feels a bit more comforted.

The owner shows Kaito around the shop unlike last time and this time the man is being a bit less riddle speaking and he makes sure that Kaito knows where the extra key was and things of the nature and where his payment was to collect at the end of the long night to not allow himself to leave unpaid. Kaito nods that he had understood and got the point of the things he has to defend and to not give up his morals and let someone just steal from him or the store as long as he remained with in the shop and was bodily able to defend it vs the incoming waves of things that come come for the place while he was out and round the town for the night. The man walks out with a wave and he shuts the door and he walks off into the night life of the city and Kaito takes a place in the shadows so that he can react the second someone or thing comes close to the door.

It wasn't long after that the the first visitors of the night appeared just a couple of no name thugs that were probably very long on the pecking order had appeared in front of him and the shop, Kaito simply walked up to the door and looked at them with his glowing red eyes and they took off with their tails between their legs, Kaito wondered if maybe he is that ugly that he scares people with just one look. Then he sees how his eyes are glowing and he guesses he gets how they might be scared of him with the glowing eyes and faintly glowing aura but why would basic thugs be trying to break into the shop there would be nothing in it for them. Well he guesses maybe someone hired them as scouts to find out if someone strong was defending the shop and human lives are probably easier to replace then those of higher living beings like vampires or well trained werewolves.

He knows he needs to work out how they are gonna come at him after he scared away those thugs but he figures it will be easy enough  to do if he just tries his best to not  get himself in any trouble while he was doing it, but he knows he is a trouble magnet and he puts Revy down as he can feel a dark wind heading their way and he opens portals to stop the incoming attacks that just started raining in, at that second that he was happy that he had kept him self aware of what might come his way just in case he would have to do anything in a split second he is glad that he has this magic cause if not the front of this store would have probably been totally destroyed by that attack and Kaito would have probably had to have taken a pay cut for that.

Kaito gets himself out of the shop and he gets to fighting with the first wave of grunts that the overlord of the night had sent toward him and he wasn't gonna let the monsters win tonight unless they earn it and he highly doubts that they could in fact earn that kind of thing from him as he has sorta been itching for a new set of monster fights some of these grunts are mind controlled humans and demi-humans and he wonders if that is just because they are so normal to find or if these ones were special in some way to the fighting, he relaxes and he keeps his mind clear as he fights them as he was not aiming to get too carried away with it cause he needs to make sure that he makes it to the morning as the waves keep coming he readies himself.

Kaito keeps them away from the store and he keeps the damage to himself at a minimum and Revy is giving him fair warnings if anything that is flying around is gonna get close to the store so he can just focus on the monsters in front of him as he swings his arms dimensional waves flow forward cutting them down then a giant lich king monster comes down at him and he knocks them away and he knows it didn't kill the creature as it began to rebuild it self so he uses his magic to scatter the bones more then he sees it a bottle filled with a dark wispy like cloud in it and he smashes it and the lich turned to dust and then Kaito goes back into the shop as what was left over of the attacking force scattered to the winds and the sun is raising as he takes his pay collects Revy then gets out of the shop locking it and returning the kay and the shop disappears once again.
