Yuurei

Yuurei and Renji were around the island and around Kahu Rock today. This meant they were going to be taking on a job today. It was the one thing that he had done constantly throughout his trip here. Still, there was one thing he had never done, and it was gone for the regular catches that brought him out to sea. This time it was different, he had taken a job that was said to be one of the biggest catches anybody has ever had. It caught his interest, and he decided that he would see what creature he would be fighting today. The Nephilim and Renji were walking through the beach as they were heading to the pier. This would be where they would find all the ships that were docked. The job sheet had told him that it would be a red ship they were looking for, and that was what they were going to be looking for.

Yuurei


Yuurei and Renji would continue their travel throughout the place, and when they got to the pier, they would see people looking at them. They would wave at them, and the people there would wave back. That was good because he thought they were angry with him or something. He would move through the place as his eyes were scanning every ship he would move by. He was looking for a specific ship.

“This is going to be interesting. I can’t wait to see how big this catch is going to be.” He said to Yuurei.

“Yeah, I can’t wait, but I wonder what is going to happen while we’re out there today.” He said as there was always something happening to them when they were catching these things.

It wouldn’t take long, but the duo would be able to find the red ship they were looking for. When they got to it they would look up at the huge ship.

“We’re here for the job on the biggest catch today. Is there anybody on the ship?” He asked as he waited for someone to answer.

Renji and he would look up as they were waiting for someone to show up. It wouldn’t take long, but a man with a scar on his face would look at the two of them. He would smile because he was hoping someone strong would show up.

“That’s good to hear. Come on the ship, and we will get ready to go into the sea.” He said to Yuurei.

The light mage would hear this and he would make his way onto the ship with Renji. When they got there, they would see everyone that was on the ship. There were a lot of people, and it would seem like they were getting ready for this grand adventure. He was excited about this, and he would walk over to the man who told him to get on board.

“So what is the plan to catch this sea monster?” He asked him curious to hear what he had to say.

“That’s a good question. I figured I would leave that to you. I’m just trying to get you there and let you get to work. Once you take that thing out, we will pay you for your hard work. Still, we got to be careful because we might not be the only crew looking for this catch.” He said to Yuurei.

The light mage heard those words, and he understood what he meant. He was prepared for anything. The Nephilim would make his way to the edge of the ship as he would look at the vast sea. Renji would stay in the middle of the ship where he felt safest. The captain of the ship would look at the two and he would see that they were ready to be on their way.

The captain would look at his crewmates as they were ready as well, and that was what he needed to know.

“Alright everybody. Let’s set sail and capture this monster.” He said to everyone. They would hear his words and they would pick up the anchors.

The sails would be pushed by the wind, and they would start moving. It was a nice feeling to be on a ship from what Yuurei could feel. It was nice and he enjoyed it. His eyes looked out into the water as he was making sure that the sea monster didn’t catch them off guard. Renji would just look at everyone who was working their ass off to make sure that ship was moving properly.

Still, it would seem like everything was going just well, and all they needed to do was to get to where the sea monster was located. Yuurei’s cape would be alert as well as it was making sure that they were safe from everything as well.

The crew was sailing through the water without a problem. It would seem like things were going just fine. This was good, and the captain could tell that they were getting close to their destination. This was good because he knew that he would bring them to a stop soon. Yuurei kept looking at the water, and he figured this was the area where they had seen the sea monster last.

“Drop the anchor!” He shouted.

When they heard that, the crew would release the anchor into the sea. Once it hit the ground, it would stop the ship without a problem. The captain would look over to Yuurei with a serious look on his face.

“When it shows up it's all up to you man.” He said to Yuurei.

The light mage would hear him, and he would understand. It wouldn’t take long, but a huge shadow would appear not too far from them.

Yuurei would jump off the ship and his wings would come out from his back as he was moving toward the shadow that was in the water. When he had gotten close to the shadow, the sea monster would lunge out of the water and would try to take a bite out of Yuurei. He would dodge the attack without a problem, and he would see how big that monster was. This was the biggest sea monster he had ever fought, and it would bring him to have a smirk on his face. He couldn’t wait to see if this creature could take a hit from him. He would move through the air close to the water as he was waiting for the sea creature to show itself again. It wouldn’t take long, but it would do that. He would dodge it once again, and this time he would punch it with his right arm.

The sea creature would roar as it hit the water and go under for a bit.

Yuurei would look around to see where the sea monster would appear, but something else would come his way. His cape would tug and tap on his back, which would alert him that something was coming from behind him. The light mage would dodge the attack without a problem, and he would notice that it was a cannonball. He would turn around in the air and he would see another ship heading their way.

This was bad as it seemed like there was another crew that was after this catch. He would shake his head as he knew what to do against them. This wouldn’t be hard for him, but he had to get on that ship. He looked into the water, and the sea creature didn’t look like it wanted to get out of the water right now. Yuurei would soar through the sky and toward the new ship. The creature would jump out at this time to get Yuurei, but he would dodge the attack as he was ignoring it for now.

Yuurei would see more cannonballs coming straight for him and he would continue to dodge them as if they were nothing. He would move through the area and when he got close to the other ship, he would look at everybody that was on the ship. They were all looking at him as if they feared him. They didn’t think anybody could have wings like that. They could tell it wasn’t magic that he was using, but some sort of form. He would land on the deck of the ship, and they would all run to him. He would start fighting the crew as they weren’t going to get in his way. He would avoid the attacks of the crew and would kick and punch those who were too close to him. A few of them would just fall to the ground if they were hit by Yuurei. This would bring the others to move back as they looked at him.

Yuurei would look at each, and every one of them, and it wouldn’t take long, but one of them would grab a gun, and would shoot at the Nephilim. He would see this, and he would dodge the attack. It wouldn’t take long, but the rest of them would grab a weapon and would shoot at Yuurei. The berserker would dodge the attacks without a problem as he would close the gap between them. When he was in front of them, he would start landing blows on the ones that had grabbed a weapon. They would feel the hit and couldn’t stand up after that one attack. He would watch them fall to the ground, and he would get ready for the rest of them that were still standing.

The ones that were still standing would grab close-range weapons as they were looking at the Nephilim. He would look at them and shake his head because they were stopping him from doing his job.

Yuurei would just shake his head because they didn’t understand that they couldn’t win against him. They would all run straight toward him as they got close to him. When they did, they would attack him, but wouldn’t be able to hit him. He was quick on his feet, and the light mage would approach each of them as he would launch an attack of his own. They would all fall from his attack as he was making sure that he didn’t kill any of them. When he had finished attacking everyone on the ship, he would leave a handful conscious. He would look at them with a serious look on his face.
 


“Please leave. This catch does not belong to you. I will knock you all out if you don’t listen to me. Then you will be in the sea unconscious and not able to fend for yourself.” He said to them hoping they would listen to him.

The people who were conscious would turn the ship around and would start leaving the area. Yuurei would nod as he was glad, they had listened to reason. He would run to the edge of the ship, and he would soar through the sky as he was looking for the sea monster. He figured he would get back to what he was hunting. His eyes looked through the water until he had seen the shadow of the sea monster. What the Nephilim could tell from the creature was that it was probably licking its wounds and waiting for the opportunity to strike Yuurei. He moved through the air though as he had made sure to stay close to the water.
 

He wanted to make sure that the sea monster thought it had a chance to get him inside of its stomach. It would only think that if Yuurei was close enough to the water.

It wouldn’t take long, but the sea monster would see this, and it would try to attack Yuurei once again. This was perfect, and it was time to see if it could take two of his punches. When it came out of the water it would try to slap Yuurei with its fin. That was smart, but he wasn’t going to be swatted into the water. He would dodge the fin and he would punch the sea monster once again. The sea monster would get hit and it would roar once again, but this time it would stay floating on the water. He would sigh as that wasn’t what he was expecting. There were a lot of things happening at once. He knew to get the sea monster, so he would fly to it, and he would grab it before dragging it to the ship. They would see how easily he had done this, and when he got next to the ship, they would pick it up to be next to the ship.

Yuurei would see that they were going to work, and he would fly down on the ship, and he would revert to normal. He would sigh with relief as he would move toward Renji. Once he had done this, the captain would turn the ship back around as they were heading back to the piers. He would move over to Yuurei and Renji, and he would hand them his reward. He was excited about everything that he had done. The light mage was glad that he could help them. Still, now that they were rewarded, they could be on their way to enjoying their day.
 

When the ship would dock by the pier, Yuurei would wave his goodbye to the entire crew that was in front of him. They would all thank him for what he had done. Yuurei and Renji would get off the ship and they would be on their way to the beach.
