Shopping Crisis PT. 4 (Neutral) Empty Sun Sep 11, 2022 6:06 pm

Yuurei

Yuurei and Renji were now in Magnolia. They were buying clothes for them to have when they got back to the North. It was nice to get attire that was different here than up there. They had been buying quite a few things, but because of Renji’s bag, it was an easy shopping spree, that they could handle. The two of them move around the place as they were buying different things. It wasn’t just that, but they were also buying souvenirs for their friends back at home.

While they were moving around the place, there were people in the city that knew who they were. They would see people waving at them, and Yuurei would wave back at them. It was nice to see how cheery these people were, but that wasn’t why he was here. He kept moving through the place, and then he would come across a job board.

Yuurei

He would look at the jobs there, and he would see that none of them were to his liking. Of course, he would say that at first, but then he would notice a job that made him feel like he could be useful. He would see that it was to help a shop with some problems it was having. He figured that some goons around the area were causing problems. That meant that they were going to need someone to protect them. He would take the paper as he didn’t mind helping these people out. They were going to pay him anyways, so he might as well get the job done.

The Nephilim would move through the streets of Magnolia as he was following the directions to the shop. He was already in the shopping district, so getting there wouldn’t be a problem. He would have to do a few things with the citizen in this city, but he would soon see his destination.

Yuurei

Yuurei would make his way to the place, and when he got there, he would open the door. He would enter the place without hesitating, and he would see that there were a few customers around. The Nephilim would look around himself as he was checking to see if there was anything for him to buy here. They had a lot of different things within the store. It made it easier to get lost when you were searching for what to buy. It wouldn’t take long, but Yuurei would take a book from one of the shelves.

He would walk away from the area, and he would walk over to the counter. He would put the book down and he would take out some jewels. The cashier would bag his book for him, and Yuurei would stay there after he had paid for it. He would clear his throat as he was ready to ask for more information on the job at hand.

“So, now that I bought something and I got your attention. You think you could tell me more about this job?” He asked the cashier as he would put the paper down on the table.

He would see the man looking at it and he had a smile on his face as he was glad that someone had shown up for this. He would push the paper back to Yuurei as he figured that he would explain everything to him.

“Thank god someone came to take care of this. I had a problem where there were these kids who were doing graffiti around my store. I chased them off, and when they ran off, it would seem like they threaten to come back and destroy the place.” He paused for a second as he sighed with disappointment that they threatened him.

“That was yesterday, so I figured they would come back tonight to do the deed.” He said taking another pause.

Yuurei

Yuurei would look at him and it would seem like he was going through it right now. Still, he was here, and he was going to help him with this problem. The man would relax before continuing with his words.

“I was hoping someone would come here to protect the store. I need it, so that way they learned not to come around here anymore. If they know that someone can take them on any time they come near here, then it would be for the best. Do you think you can do it?” He asked Yuurei.

Yuurei would smile at him as he was happy to help him. He would crack his neck as he would take the bag and he would give it to Renji. He would put it inside of his bag and they would look at the man behind the counter.

”You don’t have to worry about this. We’re here to help you with this problem after all.” He said to the man.

Yuurei

The man would hear this from Yuurei and his eyes would light up. He was happy to hear this from Yuurei and he would slap his hands together as he would be ready to speak more now.

“That is good to hear. And just for that, you don’t have to buy the book that you wanted. I will give you back the jewels along with the reward you deserve. Just make sure they don’t touch this place, please. I will be in the back when this place closes.” He said to Yuurei.

Yuurei would hear this and he would walk out of the store. His eyes would look around the area to see if he would see anybody approaching the area earlier than expected. There was nobody that had an aura like they were ready to do bad, so he would mind his business. Yuurei would start stretching though as he figured they were giving him time to prepare.

Yuurei

Renji would see Yuurei stretching, and he figured that he would do the same thing. He would start stretching as well. It would hurt to do it, but he could see and feel how good it would be to stretch his body. This was something he was going to have to do more often, so he could get used to it. Yuurei would see this, and he would smile when he saw it. He was happy that Renji was finally starting to do his best to become active. He would finish up what he was doing, and he would stand tall again.

Renji would finish up his own stuff, and he would smile at Yuurei. He would look around with his friend and the two of them were standing on guard for the shop. They were hired to do this, and Yuurei was going to get his jewel's worth. Still, nobody would show up and the sun would start going down allowing the moon to shine brightly.

When it became nighttime, Yuurei would look at the store behind him. It would seem like his client would put a closed sign on the door, so nobody would be able to go in. He would see the man move to the back of the place, and Yuurei would continue to do his job. It would seem like nobody was going to show up at first. He thought they were going to relax for the entire night, but of course, things would change. He would see a group of guys walking through the dark streets and he would shake his head at that. They really were going to try and cause trouble when they were at fault the entire time.

Yuurei would walk over to them and they would see that someone was stopping them from moving anymore.

“Get out of the way if you don’t want to get hurt.” He said to Yuurei as he wondered what the man would do.

Yuurei would crack his neck when he heard that because it would seem like they didn’t recognize who he was. The Nephilim would walk over to the group and he would look at every one of them.

“I won't be getting out of the way, but I will give you the chance to leave and never bother this shop again. You started this entire thing when you were vandalizing his establishment. It is not his fault for yelling at you and chasing you off. So, this is your final warning, leave.” He said this to them as he would look at them waiting for them to do something.

They would look at each other and they would start laughing when they heard his warning. He would shake his head because it seemed like they didn’t recognize who he was in the dark. The group of men would start running toward Yuurei trying to hit him.

Yuurei would see this, and he would dodge their incoming attacks. He didn’t need his items for this fight as it was child’s play. Renji would run toward the guy that was closest to Yuurei and he would jump at him. He would scratch his arm, and the man would grab it in pain. When the light mage saw this, he figured he would take the chance and take him out. He would kick the man right on the side of his abdomen and he would put him down in one shot. They saw this and figured he had gotten lucky, and he would shake his head as they kept running to him. He would dodge a few of their attacks before he would get another hit on someone.

He would move around the group as he was taking them out one by one. Renji would do his best to make sure to assist him, and while it worked, he was able to take them out like Yuurei. Still, they would be able to take on the group of guys as there would be one remaining.

Yuurei

Yuurei knew what happen the last time he let someone leave. He had to come back the next day and take everyone out. He wouldn’t do that twice. The Nephilim could see that this guy was nervous, and soon enough he would try to run away. The Nephilim was too quick for him as he would run after him and close the gap between the two of them right away. When he did that, he would take him out with one hit to the neck, dropping the man to the ground. He would sigh and shake his head as if that were a wrap.

He would go inside the shop with Renji and he would see that the man was waiting for him. There, he would explain to the man everything that had happened. He would understand and he would call the Rune Knights to take them in. When he had done that, he would approach Yuurei with the bag of jewels that he was going to give him. He would hand it to him, and Yuurei could feel that the bag was heavier than usual. He knew why, and he would thank the man before him and Renji would leave the shop and to the nearest inn.
