Yuurei


Yuurei and Renji were still in Magnolia, and they were still trying to get things done here before they made their way back to the North. It would seem like they almost had everything, but what were they going to do here? There were a few things for the two of them to do. Still, they could do a job here and see what was going on. Renji was not on Yuurei’s shoulder and the two of them were walking. Their destination was the job board that was in the city. He wondered what kind of stuff they would be able to tackle today. He hoped that it would be something exciting but knew that it might not be.

While they were walking through the area, they would wave to everyone they would come by. They had smiled at them because they would do the same thing. It would seem like everyone knew he was here, and it was probably because he had spent more than a day here.

Yuurei

Yuurei and Renji kept moving through the streets and even though it took a while he would eventually make it to the place that he needed to go to. He would see that nobody would be near the job board, and he would approach it. He would look at it all and he would go through everything that was there. There was nothing he wanted to do, but he would see that there was one where someone would need help again. It seemed like there were a lot of problems in Magnolia. There were people who owned stores and were being threatened by the locals there. He would see this and he would shake his head and he would take on the job.

The Nephilim would grab the paper and he would look at Renji with a sad look on his face.

“It seems like we’re going to be back at it again.” He said to his friend as he started walking in the direction of the shop.

Yuurei

Renji would hear this from his friend, and he would rub the back of his head. This wasn’t something he wanted to do, but he figured they didn’t have a choice in the matter. He would walk after Yuurei and he would soon be by his friend’s side. The two of them make their way through the streets of Magnolia, and it would be a long one. It would seem like the place they were going would be at the edge of the city. He didn’t know why, but it seemed like that might have been the reason why things were bad for this guy.

The Nephilim would greet more people on their way over there. He wondered what was going on with this person’s shop and hoped that they would be able to fix everything. The berserker was approaching the edge of the city soon enough and he wondered what kind of shop it was.

Yuurei and Renji would keep walking and they would see the shop far off in the distance. The two of them would walk through the place, and when they got there, they would try and open the door. When they tried it wouldn’t open and a man would show up to greet them. He would stare at them, and Yuurei would shake his head. He would take out the paper and he would put it on the door, so the man could see it.

The man would see this, and he would read the paper and he would nod as he understood why Yuurei was here now. He would shake his head because he was paranoid and he would open the door for Yuurei. The Nephilim would enter the shop and he would look around. He would look around to see what they sold here. It would seem like it was a bunch of rare things that he would never see around shops.

Yuurei continue searching the place until he would find something like a belt. It looked like a championship belt, but he wasn’t sure what it did. He figured that he would put this somewhere within his office. He would take this, and he would look over to the guy.

“How much for this?” He asked the man.

His future client would see this, and he would nod as he figured this would be a deal for him to make.

“Hmm, if you’re here to do that job for me, then I will give you that belt with the jewels for your job well done. Are you okay with that?” He asked Yuurei waiting for him to say something.

Yuurei would think about what he had said and figured that would be a good deal it would seem like he really needed this place to be protected after all.

“Yeah that is a good deal. Do you want to tell me about what’s happening and what I should expect?” He asked him waiting for an answer.

Yuurei would look at the man and he would think about what to say. He thought about the words and then he figured it was time.

“Yeah there was a group of guys who wanted to obtain some of the stuff I had here. When I asked them how much they were going to pay, they said they wanted it for free, and in return, they would protect my place. When I told them no, they got angry and were threatening to destroy my shop. So, I decided to put up that job and see if there would be anybody who could take them out and stop them from ruining my place.” He said to Yuurei.

The Nephilim would hear this and he would nod a bit as he understood that. He was going to help this guy and he was glad that he had told him everything that he needed to know.

“Alright then I’ll wait for the guys to show up and put them in their place. I will take them out and then after that, you can call the Rune Knights to get them to take them all into custody.” He said to the man in front of him.

He would nod as he would agree with what he wanted him to do. He would go back to handle what he was doing in the back. Yuurei would continue to look around the place because he wasn’t going to be able to do anything for a few hours. Renji would be on his side and the two of them would look around the place. There were a few cool things within the shop, and he truly thought about buying a few things. Still, he knew that he didn’t have time for that right now.

He would look over to the front of the store and it would seem like it was getting dark.

Yuurei would look over to Renji and the Exceed would nod as he understood what was going to happen now.

“Alright let’s go see who is waiting for us outside.” He said to Yuurei.

The Nephilim would have a smirk on his face when he heard that, and he would walk to the door and open it on his own. He would close the door and it would lock from the inside. He would look around outside and he wouldn’t see anybody just yet. Still, he knew they were coming. They would always show up, which made him shake his head because he knew they were going to get beat up.

Renji would start stretching again because he had to get used to it. Yuurei would see this, and he would do the same thing. It would seem like he was getting battle ready, which was a good thing. He wondered what kind of people they were going to be fighting today.

Yuurei and Renji would finish stretching and when they did, the two of them would notice a bunch of people would start making their way toward them. Yuurei would look over at Renji and he would nudge him in the direction to look at. When the Exceed saw this, he would stop stretching and the two of them would make their way to the group of people. They didn’t want them to get too close to the shop. When they all got close to each other the group of people would stop and look at Yuurei.

“Who are you and why you’re in front of us like you trying to stop us from doing something.” One of them asked Yuurei.

“Well, I know you’re here for the shop behind me. I’m here to make sure you can’t do anything about it. So, do me a favor and leave and make sure you never come back again.” He said to them as he hoped that they would listen to him.

Yuurei would wait for something to happen, and of course, they would all laugh at him. He would rub the back of his head because it would seem like fighting was the only option. This sucked, and he would watch them take out weapons, which signaled Renji to open his bag, and Yuurei’s equipment would appear all on him. When they saw this, they would rush to him as they were confused about where his stuff came from but knew this guy was ready to fight. The Nephilim would shake his head as he would move through the area they were in and would quickly run through everyone that was in front of him. He wouldn’t give them any chance to do anything to him.

They would all fall to the ground, and Renji would look surprised because it would seem like everything had happened so quickly. He would shake his head because it would seem like they were all pushovers.

Yuurei would walk over to the store with Renji, and when he did, he would knock on the door. The man inside would hear this, and he would see that it was the man he had hired to protect his store. It would seem like things had finished as soon as they started. He would look outside and see that they were all taken care of. He had called the Rune Knights, so they were coming. Still, he would move over to Yuurei and he would hand him a bag of jewels for his work on handling those annoying assholes.

Then on top of that, he would give him the belt that he had in his shop. Yuurei would take the rewards that were given to him, and he would bow happily knowing he did a good job. The Nephilim would walk away from the store though with Renji. They figured they could grab something to eat.
