The next day Ikanbi awoke after a well-earned night's rest. She awoke to the smell of pleasant breakfast and she could only assume that Sia was cooking up something for her in the kitchen. Either that or Kuva was, but, between the two of them she suspected it to be Sia, given that the residence wasn't on fire. Ikanbi Liivuduntiz set out from her room after throwing on something to cover herself up a bit better. Groggily she made her way towards the Kitchen in the little house Kuva and Sia had somehow appropriated in the middle of Myras lower district. She suspected that it had been a hunter safehouse of sorts but truly she didn't even ask and she didn't even care. For now it as a good place to lay low what with Kon the conqueror rumbling about and the Silasa being a general pain menace as well. Ikanbi conversed with Sia for a while, eating away at her eggs and toast. She had another job to take today, another escort with the aristocrats that always seemed to get in trouble.
Ikanbi finished up her breakfast and thanked Sia for the trouble before going back to her room and deciding on an outfit for the day. She chose some rather basic but minorly regal appearing getup for the day. Mostly black but with dark purple accents and some gold trim, she had to admit she looked fantastic as she examined herself in the mirror of the room. Satisfied with her clothing choice, she rummaged around in her adventurer's pouch and withdrew her harpoon gun. She examined it momentarily and then sat at her work bench and began disassembling it. She slid its parts apart and laid them out across the table and began cleaning them. It wasn't a terribly difficult task, just a necessary one every once and a while to ensure the item didn't fail when she needed it the most. It didn't take her terribly long, at this point she had done it so many times it came naturally to her. She worked through the process quickly and with no mistakes and then quickly put it back together and made her way out of the house, saying goodbye to Sia and Kuva along the way. Ikanbi walked through the streets of Myras' Lower District for some time, slowly winding and making her way toward the more rich part of the great city. She jumped, six meters high into the air and landed cleanly on a rooftop before she broke into a full on sprint.
With the assistance of her moon rabbit headband, Ikanbi very quickly made her way over Myras, rather than through Myras. She leapt from building to building and traversed the city with ease. She made her way around town so effortlessly she didn't even resort to using the harpoon gun but she did keep it on hand just in case. She hummed to herself as she darted and leapt about, amusing herself with a little tune from Desierto that she quite enjoyed from time to time. Eventually, though, she did get a little bored and decided to use the harpoon gun anyway, using it to rapel in odd and unbecoming ways around the taller buildings as she inched closer and closer towards her designated meeting spot. Between the harpoon gun, the moon rabbit headband, and her own experience so far with using the two of them she found she had no trouble maneuvering around the city unhindered and uninhibited. She was free here. Free to traverse the area as she pleased. So long as she didn't stir up any trouble, and, to the point, trouble wasn't quite her game. At least not yet anyway. Nearing her meeting area, Ikanbi descended onto the lower streets from the rooftops above where she had been traveling.
She found the aristocrat easily, Ikanbi had worked with him before. On a few occasions now she had been hired by him and they always seemed to run into thugs. Still, the pay was splendid and her reputation for getting the job done was starting to get around. Others had inquired of her bodyguard and shopping services as of lately as well. Now that she had the moon rabbit headband, escorting rich nobles back and forth was a breeze. "Alright let's go." She said, and the nobleman actually hopped onto her back. With ease, Ikanbi flew through the air. In a single leap she had scaled six meters in height and both herself and the aristocat were now on the rooftops. In no time at all she carried the man to the lower district and the two of them did a little shopping together. "Wow, I didn't know you could do that. That's...not natural." The aristocat had said. "I am capable of many great feats, some of which you may get to see in good time." Ikanbi said with a smile. Her rooftop adventures did draw attention however, and as they exited the merchant's shop some thugs confronted the two of them. "Hey you! Quit jumping around all over the place like a damned idiot. What are you some type of demon?" The thugs swung at Ikanbi with their weapons but she was gone before they even realized what had happened. She jumped high over their heads and landed on the shoulders of the one with ease, immediately jumping again and kicking into the side of his head as she landed next to the other one, performing a sweeping maneuver that did, as it was so named, sweep him off of his feet. She escorted the merchant back home and took her payment.
It was a good day.
