Somewhere in Joya Miriko still having stuck around with her many ventures and desires to learn. When to a bit of an open field in Joya with various sheets of paper because she was going to start work on various arts that had to do with paper, Between the paper crafting and origami, Miriko made herself a table and chair to sit on out of paint and just set a large stack of paper.

Anyone who might find her, would find her most likely at the very starting point of her time making things here, Since well she had yet to even use a single sheet of paper. But as always Miriko was setting up to make things, But normally roaming around in Joyan attire when here, Miriko opted wear her normal outfit in fiore the more gothic attire she was known for, even if she would be considered strange to find her just working away quietly people could figure out who she was if they were looking for Miriko.

Jikan

The Amazon of Sleeping Calamity was in Joya once again enjoying the gentle fall that fell within the country's borders and land. It had been some time since she had ran into a duo working on an artistic project. As annoying as the starr was, and confusing as the middle. Thr after math was pleasant, safe to say Jikan actually enjoyed seeing art being created and crafted before she went in her way. Mia herself did some body with the 'ol grumpy cat' as she had put it. Gettiny along with Alistair a bit after the beginning tension.

Jikan and Mia rode on Maxx, the duhlin mount companion of Jikan. Journeying to yet another area, the trio was coming back through an open field that had been somewhat near by the last location they had been at. Coming up to a section of open field, Jikan and Mia spotted Miriko; a table, chair, and a toooon of paper with her. Dawned in a dark colored Gothic look carrying an umbrella as she went here and there setting things up and moving lime the busy bee she was.

"Huh, where is the ol grumpy cat?" asked Mia to Jikan as they got a little closer.

"I'm not sure, I don't see him. Probably blocked by the art", Jikan responded to Mia's question. Sbe lifted her left hand, the slight gap on the sleeve fluttered in the wind, the white and blue shirt she worn shifting as she waved a greeting. "Hello".

Miriko seemed to have been caught just before she was going to go into major thought and idea of what things she would be doing here. But at this point it seemed that Miriko would just give Jikan a polite wave hello, at least it was not anything harmful then she seemed to look around for a moment, Then she would pick up a paint brush then simply seemed to with in a moment of simply waving it in a few motions black ink or paint seemed to flow from it to make chair for Jikan to sit if she wanted or not, It was entirely up to her not. But then she placed a piece of paper on her paint or ink made table and start to fold it, it seemed she was taking her time like she was trying to line it perfectly.

Then well since they mentioned his name Alistair did eventually show up, just you behind Jikan and small party of companions, Not like Alistair seemed to be trying to cause problems but he was just being his normal massive cattian watching over Miriko, what his job was and all he generally was asked to do.

Jikan

Mia poked her head up, left paw reaching out as she too waved in greeting to Miriko. The Duhlin mount that Jikan and Mia were traveling on let out a soft neigh of breath as they stopped. It seemed that they indeed caught Miriko in the middle of the beginning of an artistic spark. Thankfully it seemed as though this arrival did not hinder her creativity, for the inventive creator mental light bulb was contining to shine bright. A polite wave hello given as she went into her work.

Jikan was curious at what thought or idea Miriko had come up with this time, in fact, she also realized she did not see how her last project turned out. The duo blinked and watched on, a bit use to this now with how Miriko acted given the chance to watch the lady function in her art room last time. Just a look around to find herself what she was seeking, a paint brush. It was a painting project then? No, a bit of surprise Jikan found that Miriko was a magic user. A few swift precise motions of her wrist and a chair was created from black paint, flowing with a splash. At this sight Jikan blinked a few more times while Mia let out an excited gasp. "oooooooooooo".

With a nod of understand Jikan steered Maxx, bringing the Duhlin by the chair before hopping down alongside Mia. The red headed magic user reaching out her right hand to caresses the animals head before taking a seat down. Maxx let out a happy sound before lowering his head, beginning to snack on some taller piece of grass before him. "Thank you for the seat", Jikan said in thanks towards Miriko. She wondered as she looked on as Miriko place a piece of paper on her magical liquid and began to fold it. Curious as to the capabilities of this magic that she had never seen before.

Mia sat in Jikan's lap and turned with a happy wave, seein the large cattian come into view now after they asked about him. "Hiiiiii Alistair".

Seeing him appear, Jikan turned her head towards him as well and gave a friendly wave, "Hello Alistair, how are you?".

It took a bit longer then most people could be for how common it was origami but since it was new to Miriko she was going to take her time, the only problem as always with her focus she did not really seem to be talking right away as she attempted the first few fold Miriko then stopped let out a sigh and then put it aside, Having ruined a creation. Just putting on a part of the table that would be the reject section, it did not look like she had failed after all it was just three folds in. But it was not perfectly straight line on the third fold. So she gave up on it.

Then she got another piece of paper and started all over again."She is gonna be at this for a long time...are you sure you all want to sit around for this?"Alistair mentioned because it was just how it was for him he watch while she worked and well it might be a while before anything else. But at least he was being honest about it and feeling like most people did not wanna stick around watching Miriko work away being picky at pieces of paper.

Jikan

Jikan and Mia stayed where they sat, eyes and ears turned towards the cat guardian, and from what they were starting to realize perhaps translator as well, to the quiet artist Miriko. It was good to have him around, as it was a boom in communication given sometimes Miriko could get, focused, on the matter at hand. "She is going to be going at...folding paper for a long time?", Jikan asked turning her head to see the first piece of paper Miriko had attempted to fold. By all looks it looked perfect and correct to her, but for some reason Miriko had deemed to be a flaw within it that would cause whatever she was doing to not be continual. "Well...I suppose so. I have nothing going on today so it is nothing".

Mia nodded her head in agreement, finding the weather calm and beautiful. The isolation, at least in comparison to the busy streets, was a very welcomed matter for her. Less noises, less people, less chaos. "I wanna see the artist do art", Mia said rasing her paw, tail flickering softly.

"Alistair, what was wrong with that piece of paper?", Jikan asked while pointing a finger at the partially folded paper, curious.

It was starting to be realized how Alistair was much more helpful to other people then just to Miriko, yes most of his work was for the artist but it seemed as it was being caught onto. Alistair just kind of was a guide to make sure that things did not get too delayed it kind of just made Miriko spend more times at other things when she might just wanna do her normal focus on getting things done. But Miriko this time around at least was getting past the first fold.

Since they were looking at Alistair for an answer."When your some one like Mimi, you focus one everything being perfect from the start, Thus....when your slightly off in some manner, it is simple to say that one must start over to make it perfect."It was the best way to explain it. They where seeing Miriko starting to try work on, or if anything perfect something she was working on.

After all while she was focusing on work and Alistair was answering the question. But she seemed to have at least managed well folding this sheet into eventually a bird made from origami. It did not take a long time but then Miriko visibly was not happy with what she made.

Jikan

"Oh wow, that is a lot of dedication she has with her art", Jikan said at the statement given to her by Alistair. The cat's words were very helpful, it gave a picture of the artist. She was a dedicated hard worker...actually. Perhaps a different word was better to describe the level she was on? The sight of seeing her work with so much focus and energy last time. The previous tale of her norm being working sun up to sun down, not eating much, not sleeping much. All until the work was done before being carried off by Alistair to sleep. It was much more, it was a type of obsession. One that likely was so that Miriko was not able to live without her art. This was a fact that must have been as interesting as it was concerning or worrisome.

Mia looked at Alistair and nodded her head, a bit of respect given to him. She knew of this a tiny bit because of her life with Jikan. The battle loving Amazon was border line obsessed with fighting and training. She often loved taking any chance to fight against someone strong, or someone skilled that could interest her. Or most importantly, someone that had an unique or odd twist to them or their magic; those where the people Jikan craved fighting and sparring against the most. Often Mia watched Jikan as she was out at night or morning day working, drillin' her magic, pushing her body. It was a desperation, a need that she often saw her friend have, and at times concerning.

"I can understand wanting it to be exactly how you want it to be. To control it, something, you care about. It can be hard though and easier to start over but", Jikan got up, picking Mia up and placing her back down in the seat. Jikan then slowly moved, reaching the end of the table that Jikan placed the old paper, gently and carefully folding the paying smoothly in the spot that Mimi had started over on. "An error is a place to learn. And it can make the attempt after, right where you made that mistake, better. I'm not much of an artist...but I find fun accidents often happen for me. Then again, I am not a professional".

Finishing her sentence Jikan then turned to Miriko. Finding a beautiful origami bird but an unhappy artist. "Is something wrong Miriko?".

It seemed Miriko would only just watch as that kind of just happen before, Sure Jikan's display did have an entire point. There was a reason for why Mimi just did it this way, There was a reason she just kept digging into everything there was a reason why Miriko just dig into way of work so in deep it was almost in some manner pointless suffering. But Miriko seemed for the moment stop working."It isn't about learning on the way at times."she mentioned. This broke her entire work mindset for the time or well the focus she had anyway.

In which Alistair just for the moment said nothing about it."In my work demand perfection, anything uneven will only merely cause people claim it is worth less than my offering price simply because it is not correct or not out of place."So she mentioned that and took another piece of paper started to fold another sheet, only just because of how she viewed anything less then prefect meant less money, Even for a artist like Miriko."No one, no one single person will ever want a painting with an error, there will never be a compromise between paintings or anything else that people consider art."Miriko also added. If anything you could feel like if anything it was a feeling of stress internally for Miriko. You only ever saw good art pieces, that is the ones that sold so many things was because the paintings were prefect.

"Everything...needs to be perfect, No flaws must be shown...."It sounded depressing but maybe it was just how her life was. Thus she went back to carefully folding, focusing on that solely like she normally does. She had made her point at least she thought she did.

Jikan

Jikan rested her hands on the table after she had completed the folded piece of paper. It was a long way from being finished and created into the bird shape Miriko had finished. But, it was started at least. She knew that she was probably walking into a domain that was far beyond her scope of understanding. Art was not her expertise, it was not one of the things that made her breath and shake. She just knew that there were bubbling feelings in her stomach and heart when she was around this goth artist that she never felt before. A tighten in her chest that felt good strangely.

Either way, it was likely that Jikan would just be, talking here. Miriko was a person that had done her art for some time now. Jikan had her thoughts that she just wanted to talk to Miriko about, but had her own thoughts and feelings. A reason for why she dd what she did the way that she did. Perhaps today would be a day that Jikan got the gift of learning of this beauty better if she was lucky.

And she got that. A bit of a surprise, Mimi stopped her process and answered Jikan's question. Not in a short response either way. But a long genuine one that allowed Jikan to hear into her reasoning and mind. She nodded her head, learning was not always the goal. That was true. Sometimes it was just about getting a product out, a worthy profit. When one made their living from art, that was an important thing to remember. Quality made one their money, quantity could be done over and over, even thrown away. If it did not meet the need of quality. "Ah yes. That is true. When you provide a service for someone, you have to do it at a certain level for it to be considered successful. But with some things, such as art", Jikan looked down at her paper. "Good is not good enough isn't it? Perfection, is needed to have no real complains with what you give, to secure oneself". Jikan slowed moved, trying to continue folding the paper from what she saw Mimi do. "My my....such a stressful thing...".

Jikan continued as she was, folding....or at least attempting to do such. Her eyes on the table and paper but her ears focused on one thing. Miriko's voice. As Jikan heard Miriko speak more she could only listen. The calm demeanor of the artist was faltering a little, showing a bit of stress. That was to be expected. Everyone had stress and dealt with it. However, Jikan was not an artist, she was a mage. A quest doer. Money was given to her that way. She put hours and effort into her tasks, but it was just different from someone who did it Miriko's way. It felt more like a civilian's life, one that had its own challenges to deal with.

Either way, as Miriko spoke and gave her states of opinion that felt like facts due to the circumstances around real life. The product she put out was the only thing people saw. Not the hours sitting or standing. Not the headache trying to get an outline right. Not the gears turning trying to figure out the perfect color scheme. And end list list of tasks and details to consider. The panic of debating if it was done, could this background be improved, was that line perfect, should one add more?

All of this may be true, but Jikan was only figuring one thing and one thing to respond geuine with. "...well....I would still buy something from you even if I noticed a small error. But one person who hasn't even been a client isn't really worth much is it?", Jikan said stopping her folding and looking up. Her words coming a bit after letting Mimi get into her groove again.

She would do her best to control that over arching feeling of stress but Miriko would eventually have to be cut off and settled down from speaking."Yes yes, There was always people at so many ends..."She started off with that stress still in her voice."You are a paid professional one much be the best for such money to be handed over to them."She added a mocking tone of what you could assume was a older man trying to maybe argue price with Miriko."One flaw and I want it half off."some how she was mocking some one while perfectly making the bird she had folded and smoothly made with paper. Then placing it down on the table she let out an annoyed sigh then picked up another piece of paper.

She then mutter to herself more."The times I had to repeat a painting because a tree was not perfect."It was making the oddly always peaceful and happy Miriko seemed rather jaded and mentally tired from years of just not letting such things out. unintentionally she was forgetting she had a conversation going on with some one."or they want a discount..."It was getting some what out of hand.

That is when Alistair walk over to where Miriko was and then just sat down and placed his hand on stop of Miriko's It took a few moments with a bit of a bitter look on her face but it seemed Alistair made his point with out having to say it. She was getting to be a bit much for herself an she needed to relax. It would be a few minutes before Miriko seemed to have stopped working over all in the moment to try and get herself to settle down mentally.

"Oh, that is a lot of nonsense to be dealing with", Jikan said after letting Miriko speak. If the Gothic styled painter was dealing with stress she was doing a good job of hiding it....a little. Her voice was tense but not as much that Jikan thought it could be. She had to take this concern serious, at least more than normal since Miriko's mocking voice almost made Jikan giggle, a fact that she had to try to hide somewhat successfully by covering her mouth with her hand.

It was a bit sad though, the amount of stress and annoyance Miriko had to go through as an artist. The poor dear.

Seeing the second paper bird being made Jikan gazed at it and was tempted to poke it for some reason. But thought better of it. Instead, she leaned a bit closer trying to ensure she heard Miriko's words as she began to mutter. She was content to let her continue, sometimes a person needed to vent. Illumin knew Jikan did to Amira or Klein a little when something absolutely stupid was going on.  Alistair came up though and seemed to do just the trick. Placing a paw onto Miriko's. Not saying a word as a bitter look on her face slowly calm down.

"It seems you have been having a lot of things in, friend. For happiness and content in your beautiful art, I think you should talk to your friend there about it when you need to. Or...another friend if you wish", Jikan said matter of factually with somehow a bit of shyness. "Snobby clients or people looking for excuse to get more money are a never ending headache after all".

She gave a pause before deciding to say something else as well. A request. "Hmmm. How about, you do a commission for me?"

It made his point for a moment, Miriko settled down for a moment but Alistair then removed his paw/hand and just put he head on stop of Miriko."Settle down tiny one, Your bitter emotions are ruining your work and behaviour."In which the Cattian had made his point, Miriko was getting herself annoyed and needed to relax.

Miriko putting down whatever she held and seemed to stop and think over time just thinking and staring at nothing. It was a scare sight to see these things were just as it showed you could be the hardest worker in the world like Miriko, But sometimes a person needed grounding and they did not know it. At times it was forced like Alistair eventually Miriko would finally settle herself but just did not go back to folding paper right away.

She did hear Jikan just she was often left in her own mind fairly often."A commission at this time?"She mentioned in wonder about it after all she was not expecting it and did not know what all to think of it but she was not too worried about right away."You do realize I don't have my painting supplies here?"She was expecting that answer to be yes, But she was not refusing.

Mia sat from her placed seat by the table. Her brown headed fur peeking over the table to gaze at the conversation and movement before her. She thought she was getting let out of things! But that was fine by her, she liked not having eyes all on her and being able to just relax. This Miriko person sure was stressing out though, she needed to be more like herself and just relax and not worry about what those meanie heads thought or did. Mia nodded her head twice. Yeah. That all it was about. But thankfully, Alistair was there to help her.

Jikan on the other hand, also remained where she was standing up near Miriko and Alistair, the red head giving a thankful nod to the Cattian for helping Miriko so well. Which, was strange when it was what he always did. He was her friend but...she felt a need to give thanks when it came to keeping Miriko well and safe.

How much so in the current situation Jikan was not sure. For Miriko put down the things she was holding and seemed to stop. Her mind wandering away for a moment in a puzzle or maze. Starring at nothing while she thought and hopefully relaxed more. Eventually she spoke again, responding to Jikan's proposition. "Yes, a commission. If you don't mind taking one from me. Are you too busy with other work?", Jikan asked in a soft honey filled voice as she turned her face and body more towards Mimi. Opening herself up in a figurative sense as she communicated with her.

"Ah", Jikan said while letting out a soft laugh. "Yes. But I wasn't specifically thinking of a painting.  You do a lot of work with a lot of material. So...interesting in having a task that's more fun and less stress?".

It was something different that was for sure, So it had Miriko's attention most likely because she was trying not to panic massively at the idea of having to get a bunch of other work done."It would have to really matter how commission needs to be done and when it does?"She mentioned over all because she was still thinking about in with in the many ideas of how things work for Miriko she kept a lot of things in her mind for these things Sure at this time she had other pieces to work on that where not in a rush to finish.

But it had not to do with painting so it could interesting for her."What all do you have in mind for me that isn't based around painting?"in which she finally had to ask since she might as well consider it and keeping it going in terms of her work over all.

Jikan

Jikan hoped that this would work, she was aiming to help relief some stress from Miriko. The Gothic painter did her art due to joy and love of the process, but, reality of the responsibilities of having to provide for oneself though hindered that outcome. With having to make art far beyond the level of just being content with it, dealing with manipulative or rude customers as well as just individuals. All in all it was a very annoying situation to be in, and, for some reason. Seeing Miriko get upset and grumbling...made Jikan mad. Very mad.

But she could not show that. She had to maintain her cool.

"Very fair. Hmmmm, well I just...want something about them", while Jikan speaks this she reaches into her shirt, pulling out a locket, golden and black, that was wrapped around her neck. With a click it opens, showing four individuals. Mia, Amira, Klein, and Aurelia. "Something simple or fancy, doesn't really matter. I figured it can be something you can be relaxed with". Jikan put the necklace back under her shirt and continued to speak. "However, if you would like to do something else beyond people. I could just tell you to do whatever you like and have fun. Either way I have no due date in mind, as long, as you...let me hangout while you work sometimes? I know you have other priories to finish so...". She mentioned softly at the end, a soft cough from her as she averted her eyes for the first time while talking to Miriko today.

Jikan thought for a second and gave an answer, continuing to look away, this time training her eyes onto the paper as she herself took another piece now. Beginning to try and fold it in a form of a different animal. "Well, perhaps charcoal? I do not know if you have worked with that before. I would say just pencil and see what you can do with shading, but that sounds rather dull for a skilled artist like yourself. Oh, perhaps something made out of material could be fun? Wood sculptures or metal, or common found things", Jikan said trying to offer creative paths for Mimi to take.

It was a different request, not that Miriko had not been trying these things in the background she was always trying to expand thus asking about parts of work such as that. Miriko was focused on work and such in her mine that she would just think about the due date later due."Shading with a  charcoal pencil is normal work for me just a different pencil."Miriko did have charcoal pencils just somewhere stored away until needed use charcoal as an entire material as it alone was a different question entirely. sure it was a bit messy but it might not be worth it depending on what was going to be done.

Alistair speaking up over all."I would not suggest wood for whatever it was, only because Miriko had a horrible time."Alistair was not trying to ruin whatever Jikan hoped this piece to be, But rather make sure Miriko did not risk whatever she did last time dealing with wood."The rest maybe...I don't think Miriko is made for metal work."With that at least Miriko still more had another question"material question aside what exactly are you trying to have to made?"It was a  fair question since whatever exactly it was, seemed to be not yet mentioned but Miriko having a different focus already seemed to go back to folding paper perfectly with out looking.

Jikan

Jikan knew Miriko was an artistic creator that practiced using different materials. Painting, threads, those kinds of things. However, there were a wide range of styles and materials to use, giving the red headed guest only the slightest picture of what she could really do so far. Either way, idea generation towards a fun exercise was to be had, and she hoped that it was at least slightly different than what she had been doing lately.

"So charcoal may not be as fun for you as I hoped", Jikan said this in a soft wonder. The material from her knowledge was a fun yet chaotic thing to use. Very stubborn; but worth while in the end.

Jikan turned her head to Alistair, looking up once again. "Did Ms Miriko had a bad experience the last time she tried to work with wood?", she said to Alistair already assuming an answer internally.

Mia piped in now. "Metal isn't an easy thing! It's heavy and can get hot and just tooooough".

At this point Miriko spoke up again, and in response Jikan stopped her folding process momentarily to scratch the top of her head using her right hand as she thought. "I'm hoping to get something beautiful to gaze at. It could be a carving of those four that I can hang or put down somewhere. Or, it can just be something creative that I could enjoy".  Jikan tried her best to respond. Because truthfully Jikan only wished for a piece of art from Miriko and for her to have fun creating it in the process. She thought something related to her family or the world would be nice, but unfortunately there was no real thing in her mind.

Well, besides one thing. But she would never ask for that!

Miriko would just mention."It isn't that it isn't fun, It is just not as commonly requested as lead pencil, Both have their own patterns on paper that is not so easily picked up."Miriko mentioned. It was not that she was trying to ruin Jikan's wanting for such a thing it is just something she still already knew how to work with. Not to have her reconsider anything she actually wanted it was more one's limits before hurting herself.

As for her experience with wood."...splinters were hard to get out of hands and I nearly cut myself a few times."Miriko sounded far from proud of it but it was what happen but was still willing to admit how it went for her. She had not considered using magic at all to help just doing it all by hand, it was very simple to think Miriko was not going to be good at handling wood in it's raw state, She was more useful at a lot of other things then manual work as that.

Before Miriko even continued with a thought of what to make she simply asked."what....size are you intending for such a creation to be that you can hang it?.."This would be an important piece of information because how large something could be for you to hang it could mean various things."Would you require something like Alistair to move this creation you envision?"Which might be a fair way to think of it.

Jikan nodded her head after listening. "That was my understanding as well. I hoped that that option would be a bit of a break from what you have been doing". Jikan mentioned in return. The disparity of frequent requests in the two styles of art was not hard to imagine. Lead was easier to write and erase. Charcoal had a lot of work to be involved in getting the shading right, and if you messed up good luck with trying to erase or correct it.

A momentarily sad expression came to Jikan's face before going away. The thought of Miriko getting hurt caused a quick ping within her. "Ah. Definitely no then. I wouldn't want you to get hurt trying that again. Wait....why didn't you wear safety gloves?", Jikan asked with a realization and raised eyebrow. She was a bit curious about what was being attempted. And why, from the sounds of it, did she choose to do it with her bare hands. Perhaps Jikan would just have to show her how it was done at a later point in the future.

"Size. Hm....I suppose at most 20 by 20? It can be up on a wall or smaller than I can put down somewhere as well", she said thinking more about the details of the possible commission. "I don't think I would need something as big as Alistair to transport it. Then again you can decide that case if you do this when you are done".

Jikan gave a short pause before speaking again, looking towards Miriko in the eyes. "Do you have any fun or interesting ideas already forming?".

With that question Miriko stopped for a moment and even Alistair kind of sighed."Oh no here we go again."in some manner this was a sign that Alistair might have heard these things before. But since Jikan did not know it was about to happen all over again after all there was a way she worked that was important to her in some manner she had to get things done, After all it was more then just making sure your safe with work.

Then Miriko would speak, what she was a about to say was most likely the most insane thing you could consider Miriko ever saying."I need to feel like with my hands, Gloves even if safe might put off my hands work when handling it."Yes artist talk about how something could ruin her work some minor thing that she could adjust too, yet refuses too."I can't just risk ruining my sense of touch it could make the piece less complete."entire talk that seemed so stupid coming from Miriko it was highly illogical.

But even then she would just continue on."I can get a fair amount of ideas, But if you really want this piece to be special, Might I suggest you let me keep it a secret until I get the time to finish it?"In which this was something she felt interested to mention it as that just to see what the reaction would be, after all it was interesting to see how a client could react.

Jikan

When Miriko had stopped her artistic motion for a moment, Jikan wondered if she was about to somehow go in a long thought. When Alistair sighed however, Jikan had a fear that she had just said something that had upset her. If not that, then that she had opened the door to another sensitive agitating topic for the Gothic artist that was known as Miriko. That thought was furthered and made solid in her mind when Alistair let out a 'oh no here we go again'.

"Hmmm?", sounded Mia as she heard a shift in people's voices. Just what was going on? She was curious, to her ears, Mia felt like it was a tired sigh from Alistair. One of a friend seeing the door open for a rant or vent and was stuck to sit by and listen.

As Jikan heard Miriko speak her eyes blinked, absorbing the words given to her in the explanation of why she did not wear safety gloves while working on wood sculptures. As Jikan finished listen she had to lean against the table, elbows down with her right hand under her chin. Body and chest resting as she looked at Miriko for a few seconds as she gathered her thoughts. Then she would speak. "So you need to feel it against your skin to work better. A closer connection to your art and the process? Well....I suppose I can understand that but...you do need to be careful. It would be terrible if you seriously wounded your hands or fingers...I'm sure no one here would want you to get hurt", Jikan said with a soft voice as she tilted her head to the right slightly. "I'm sure we can find a resolution to that. There are many types of gloves and I am sure they can provide you with protection without impacting your handling negatively. If not...ah....please....still wear gloves when working on stuff like that", Jikan said in a somewhat pleading voice.

Adorable...she cares so much about her art. Was what Jikan thought....even if she was finding herself a bit exasperated about this illogical leap in art work in her opinion.

"Trying to minize trouble with your senses during work is somewhat understandable. But. Possibly hurting oneself would do worse than wearing protective gear. Permanently, hurting your senses for one. Regardless...", Jikan looked over to the complete origami that Miriko had done so far. "I think, whatever you make. Is beyond complete. Its art. Beauty. I don't think they could be less than complete even if you tried".

After saying what Jikan would say, she would respond with a pleased nod to her head. "Yes. That is fine Miriko. In fact, I think that is a wonderful idea. I look forward to the surprise you cook up", she said with her voice changing a little. A slight uptick of joy and excitement within her words.

Miriko did end up saying her piece about it but Jikan was just going to let her do her magic so to say. Not that she would really protest if anything else was really needed to be spoken about it was just normal of Miriko to always just want to work quietly with out anyone really digging into it."But i am an eternal student to many works of art...just sometimes many of them have draw backs...."Miriko mention almost slightly unsure if she could be flustered about it or not entirely for a moment.

But this part over all would be pointed out by Alistair."You aren't the only one who keeps telling her these things."In which was most likely a pretty typical almost like Miriko even for at times how she kept herself rather mature and well mannered, Did have childish things point out every once and a while.

Then well Miriko went bright back to just folding another piece of paper she did not seem to have any problems at this point making a simple bird, so she would try another shape to just to keep trying other things.

Jikan

Jikan had listened to her, the task at hand was an open ended commission for her. Jikan was all good and up for whatever creative ideal she would come up with. Creative magic, literal magic, whatever really, as long as this stressed Gothic painter found something to add fire to her artistic fire and acquired some joy out of it. That would satisfy Jikan's request. If Jikan did come up with any ideas about this task for Miriko, she could always just find her and give her an update about it.

"Draw backs are always a part of anything one does. I suspect that dealing with creation and people's own individual standards add another dimension to it though. Regardless, the classes among art created by people are a wonderful thing and worth the hassle of....annoying teachers", , Jikan said in a soft tone and nod of her head. "Or tools. But I digress. Proper environment and reaction to responsibilities with the glove issue". Jikan said in addition, trying to express her thoughts and feelings while respecting Miriko's.

After saying so, she turned towards Alistair and listened to him. "Well, I am not surprised by that. I would assume anyone who cares about her, such as you Alistair, would have talked about it at least once. AH...sorry. Am I...butting in on here or bothering you?", Jikan said out with a quiet shy voice for once. Her gaze moving to Miriko before shifting back to the origami she was working on. Quietly her hands moved, finishing up her blooming Chinese rose flower.

"Sorry. I am not a friend to you or anything, just...".

It seemed in the end some one was still trying to be some what helpful. But she seemed to still nonetheless continue on in her continuing attempts to perfectly many things, Miriko had not answered because for the most part she was listening but she had something she wanted to be sure she had in her mind while she was doing some of the things she was doing now.

After all she seemed to be trying something different other than just folding small animals or shapes. She stopped for a moment, pondered and thought it over. Then she got out of her chair walked over to Alistair, got a small paint brush. And started making a paper lantern it seemed she was trying to take her time on something like this to continue her mental problem of trying to get something finished and perfect on the first time, Typical Miriko things.

But rather then needing anything to cut it manually, She was using well shape she could make from painter or ink to cut the sections she needed too, Things that Miriko did normally to kind of work at one of many things she did.
