Kazz looks down at the papers in his hands that Lionel gave him they contained the name and locations of five Rune Knights that have been suspected of corruption. It wasn't a flashy job but it was the last job he planned on doing here in Era so he was looking to get it over with as soon as he could. All he had to do was follow them around for a bit and make sure they were on the up and up then he could report his findings back to Lionel collect his payment and be on his way. He was for once thankful for Nensh's nose for easy jobs. it wasn't the most exciting thing to do spending all day following around five people but easy money was easy money he supposed. He made his way to the Location of the first guy on his list. He apparently had guard duty at one of the outside gates so it seems like the perfect place to start.

Once he made his way to the gate it didn't take him long to find his target standing by the gate from what he could tell everything looked to be going well he even watched as he checked an incoming Merchant for contraband. after seeing that Kazz was more than satisfied he was doing his job and moved on to the next name. The person he was looking for was supposed to be patrolling a nearby area. it didn't take Kazz too long to make it to where he was supposed to be patrolling, but oddly enough the Rune Knight was nowhere to be found even after actively asking around looking for him no one knew or was willing to tell him where he was. this bump in the road caused Kazz to move on to the next name on his list. this person was also on guard duty at an outside gate. after making it there just like the first name there they were standing guard doing exactly what you would expect them to be doing./ Kazz didn't bother to watch to see if this guy was actually doing his job because he had a sneaky suspicion that he wanted to confirm the next two names on his list were guards that were supposed to be patrolling a certain area and sure an enough they were nowhere to be found.

Kazz figured they could be too far away from their posts so he headed to an area that was close to where all three were supposed to be patrolling and to Kazz's chagrin there they were talking with a group of suspicious-looking characters Kazz was too far away to hear what they were talking about but after a few minutes, they handed over a nice stack of Jewels to each of the Rune Knights. It wasn't hard to see what was going on these goons looked to be buying off the patrolling Knights making whatever Nonsense they were up to easier to do. Kazz wrote down as many details as he could about what the goons looked like and headed off back to Lionel. Lionel was less than thrilled to find out that over half of the Knights, he asked Kazz to check in on were dirty. The look of pure rage on his face was more than telling but Kazz didn't blame him too much for being that upset. Lionel thanked, Kazz gave his payment, and asked to leave. Which Kazz Obliged, with that this job was done he could finally move on to another town and hopefully find some more exciting jobs.
