It was time, Time to get their plan into action, Akuko in some manner was starting to feel a bit of the stress and trying to have it now show all that much from the look of stress on her face. Even if she was trying to hide it it seemed she was not using it all that well. In which was most likely to be expected but Akuko seemed to be managing well to get herself back to focus at the idea at hand.

She would look upon the sky for a moment and regain her focus. She was getting into place to start the missions but then looked around to make sure Ragnar was prepared and ready to go. Which meant most likely she would be checking over the gear they had for his cover to make sure it was not damaged or broken. More than anything else she wanted to be sure the first part of the plan was simple enough now have him be found. She also could just be vary paranoid at this time.

Most likely after the check list of preparing was done, Akuko would just dive right into the task at hand, The only thing really stopping her from just recklessly doing this all on her own out of spite for how this nation had wronged her and killed her in the past was a promise to Misihiko to do this the smart way. If it was not for that Akuko would just have most likely used her shadowy magic ways of magic and found these people by themselves alone and killed them alone. But this has changed into something far more then she ever assumed, It was the only thing that allowed her to have faith in the things happening right now.

When she felt Ragnar was close enough she simply said, quietly to make sure not too much noise was here."Come here for a moment Ragnar."She would start her run down of the plan.

Ragnar was waiting for this plan to be finally done and over with, and he was going to have to make some 'magic' happen. Ragnar just wanted to hang out with his girl, but it seems that she was very focused on this job, but that made sense she was the one who had to sneak in and kill the guy. Ragnar was the first to offer to do it, but they realized that the plan wouldn't quite work out as Ragnar wouldn't have a method of escaping out easily. Akuko could just shadow walk out of there while Ragnar would have the entire town on his ass.

Ragnar had all of his gear on him, well his 'borrowed' gear from the guy they killed what seemed like months ago at this point. Ragnar then heard Akuko call him and he walked over and leaned down. She was most likely going to go back over the plan as Ragnar listened intently.

In some manner maybe Ragnar was right, but it seemed if anything she was just starting to checking the condition of the gear, Even if it was most likely okay. Akuko seemed to have brought things to make it look like nothing had happen to it and Ragnar was the rightful wearer. She was checking over for spots for blood and if there was many she cleaned them quickly. She seemed to be avoiding conversation right away.

But for a moment all of the stress and the worry with in Akuko's thoughts seemed to subside in the manner of how focus she was. The deadly focus was for a moment to have a moment with Ragnar and quietly hugged him seemingly just holding herself there for a bit of time. Rather then weep her worries away she seemed to be trying to ease her mind."I do not know how you are going to get out when the mission is complete and I am worried about it.."

Everything seemed to be good and ready at this point as Akuko hugged Ragnar, though it was alittle longer then normal and wrapping his arm around her to give her alittle more comfort. Is Akuko worried about something? And as if on que, Akuko said that she was worried about him getting out and Ragnar just smiled and chuckled to himself. " Listen, we are fighting on their home turf but that also means that they most likely aren't going to be as willing as I am to go through a wall or jump through a ceiling to escape. They still have to deal with whoever lives in that home they just broke down. Worst comes to worse, I have my armor and axe hidden away around that area. Though at that point, it most likely has gotten to the point that everyone has to die, so lets try our best to avoid that. "

Ragnar patted Akuko on the head before asking the next question " How will I know that you are out safe after your part is done? I don't want to escape too early and have them run back to base while you are still dealing with your side of the mission. " Ragnar was sure that wasn't going to happen, as he would have to fight over atleast two dozen men and while Ragnar was good, he wasn't good enough to do that all at once. This wasn't some kind of cartoon or something, eventually one of them would slide a sword between a plate and kill him, so this would have to be hit and run and simply buying time. The more he could kill while doing it the more likely they wouldn't given up their chase but if he killed too many then they might stop and go back for reinforcements to hunt him down, which means going back to Akuko's location.

This was going to be more complicated then Ragnar thought at first but, hey. Ragnar wasn't very smart but he just needed to be smart enough to buy Akuko enough time to handle her business.

This was good, they both had needed to think up a way for when they needed to get out. In which Akuko could come up with quickly."That is fair, We did not talk about that part."An exit plan would be smart of come up with. her mind was worried about the task and paranoid because the last time she was in a war she died in. But it was coming to her quickly."Hm.. if that is the case, I will make sure to give you a very clear sign i am ready to depart." Akuko said then point her index finger to the sky for a moment. then with in her own shadow it went into Ragnar's helmet. If Ragnar had it on his head Akuko's finger would tap the top of it. If not her arm would start going completely through."I will reach out and make sure via this method."

Even then she brought up a back up plan too. If the helmet was gone. Ragnar felt with in the armour the touch of Akuko's finger with in the shoulder blade section of his armour."That is my back up in the event you lose you helmet."She made the idea quickly. For the moment subsiding her seemingly at the time worry."But this could also be the spot to return too if we are too far a part at the time."She was thinking in depth. This way less things could go wrong.

Between the changes she was going through and dying in a war last time she was in one it seemed working on moving past it all was just how she was trying to do it. Ragnar's support seemed to help. Even then Akuko was trying not to complain even if there was a fair amount going on.

Ragnar nodded as he then took a deep breath before letting it out slowly, his teeth clinched as he attempted to ready himself for what he was going to have to do here. Ragnar had gotten soft over the years, maybe it was just being so far from home, maybe it is falling in love. Ragnar from years ago would burn an entire village down with the people inside of it to simply win bonus points with his God and now he was concerned about possibly killing innocent people.

Ragnar then nodded to Akuko and said " Lets get this started. " and he turned and walked out of their staging location and began walking towards the barracks that they picked as a target. This was a barracks that held a large amount of grain for the soliders, and while normally it would be more heavily guarded the issues that the others have been doing have caused their attention to shift. It didn't take Ragnar long to find what he was looking for, a patrol with torches.

Ragnar walked past them, passing between the two men on patrol, and while they had their hands on their weapons, they were talking and appeared to be happy enough. Ragnar didn't understand a word they were saying but that didn't matter as Ragnar put his fist through the back of the first man's face. The other man attempted to cry out only to have Ragnar's massive hand reach out and grab him by the throat, cutting that cry short.

The man was smarter then Ragnar thought he would be, most people panic and attempt to struggle against Ragnar but this one didn't. He reached down and pulled out a small dagger and slammed it directly into Ragnar's elbow. Ragnar's 'new' armor took the blow, but it still cut deep into Ragnar's elbow but Ragnar focused that pain into his grip on the man's throat, crushing it. The man went limp in Ragnar's hand, before being thrown to the ground and having his skull crushed by Ragnar's boot. It took minutes for someone to die from oxygen loss, he could wake back up and alert someone even without a working voicebox. Better to end that problem before it became one.

Picking up both of the corpses and the torches they carried, Ragnar threw the corpses into an alley, and covered them with an entire trashcan. He didn't need it to last forever, just long enough for Ragnar to finish his mission.

With his lit torches, he walked over to the wall before throwing the torch over before him and listening to see if anyone made a noise from a torch being thrown over the wall. When it was quiet for a moment, Ragnar threw himself up the wall, pushing his fingers into the wall as required to make holes for grip and pulling himself over the wall.

Once over the wall, Ragnar brushed himself off and picked up his lit torch. He then began the process of walking down the rows of buildings and throwing lit torches into the buildings windows or under the floor as required. Ragnar was going to burn this entire base down, food and people all.

There was now no going back and Akuko had to do the things expected of her, being able to take it all in stride sucking up and putting a side all of her worries and fears. Keeping in mind there was also plenty more in the future that would be equally as stressful for her. It was going to be hard for a moment to let got that worry. It just meant having to not think about it in the manner and the worries she had been focusing on it. But this was more because Akuko was worry of one other person with her here.

then after a quick final hug Akuko would then seemed to just sneak away as she always does. It was just as quick as she slowly walked into a shadow away from Ragnar. There was nothing sappy about it as much as Akuko almost thought there would be. Over all she wanted to get this done quickly even if she had no idea where she was going at first, but remember shortly after. Here she was rushing herself. It was not going to be helpful as time needed to play out some what for Ragnar to do his part.

Hopping out at one point Akuko found Miko seemingly lost and roaming about. When she popped out of the shadow she simply took the tiny being for a moment whisper to it. "Go and find your way to Ragnar, Watch him and help him if you can."Akuko knew very well Miko could do nothing to help him. But it was better that she knew where to find them after she was done here to not leave them behind. Thus sneaking back to hiding she went. She was not too far away at this point, just need the right way in.

In which she did eventually find her way in to the target she was after, over all a good string and line of events. But she needed to wait for the right moments and avoid any windows or reflections to make sure she did not get caught while she sunk into the area her target would be in. She was going to deal with a pretty strong. So when the time was right she would just hop out of hiding kick this person to the, shove her hand right into his mouth to stop any right away noise, firmly grasp her free hand around his neck and squeeze as hard as she could.

But it was not as effective as she thought. She needed to think quick as she then looked around for some kind of small weapon trying to stay steady while he resisted being held down and strangled, Then she took one of their weapons with both of her hands and pludged it into his heart, covered his mouth for a few minutes, Looked around then ran back into hiding to find Ragnar. Eventally she would find him and he would feel a tap with in his helmet or piece of armour if the first was missing. They where done and needed to leave quickly.

As Ragnar lit the fires, no one appeared to stop him or atleast they weren't looking for a single man running around and starting the place on fire. What crazy person would do something like that! As Ragnar ran out of torches he was finally spotted and the yelling began. Ragnar got ready with his sword, a weapon that he wasn't remotely used to using as it was and then he got the warning he needed. He felt a touch inside of his armor. It was time to go.

Ragnar then ran for the first time in his life, he ran instead of fighting. Ragnar didn't run on the streets, he ran through buildings and houses in order to make it even harder for his enemies to follow. Even as the guards followed him through a block or more of houses, Ragnar knew they had to be more careful then he was being. Ragnar could be leading them directly into an ambush, which he wasn't but they didn't know that.

As Ragnar ran, he also started to throw off pieces of his armor, by breaking them off his body as he wasn't ever planning on using this armor again and throwing them back at the people chasing him. The armor thrown by Ragnar would still crack a breastplate and break bone under it if thrown hard enough, which luckily gave Ragnar more and more distance until they couldn't follow him while he could see them behind him.
