It's nighttime, with a reigning peace over the island chosen for this summit. Oddly, a sun continued to shine down on the beach, casting a strange light over the gathered crowd. Ambassador Garmr watched the various factions' emissaries milling about with interest. They had come from all over Earthland to try and convince Garmr to represent their interests in the brewing conflict over Talaz Lagaar. The situation was a delicate one, with tensions running high and the potential for a full-scale civil war looming on the horizon. Garmr was a wily old diplomat, though, and he knew that those present held the key to ending the conflict before it could even begin. It was a weighty responsibility, one that he didn't take lightly, but he couldn't help but feel a certain sense of excitement at the thought of using his skills to make a real difference. Despite the gravity of the situation, Garmr couldn't resist a playful grin as he contemplated how to test the endurance of the faction representatives. He had always been one for games and challenges, and he knew that the ability to keep a cool head and persevere in the face of adversity was a key trait in any successful leader. As an older man, Garmr knew that his prosthetic hands would give him an advantage over the other representatives. He had lost his real hands years ago, when a school of piranhas had attacked him while he was on a diplomatic mission in the tropics. It had nothing to do with that he was hungry. He had been quick to replace them with state-of-the-art prosthetics, however, and they had served him well ever since. But despite his trust in his prosthetics, Garmr was eager to see who among the gathered factions could keep up with him. He knew that endurance was only one part of what made a good leader, but it was a crucial one nonetheless, and he was more focused on the prosperity of his country's values. For now, however, Garmr simply relaxed and enjoyed a smoothie, content to let the factions plead their cases to him before he made his decision. He knew that he had a tough choice ahead of him, but he was confident that he would be able to make the right decision for everyone involved. Event Conditions
