Toge had done a lot within the guild so far. He was working his butt off, for the jewels, and to make sure that everything would go well for him. Still, the quest he had done was not as crazy as he wanted. It was why he took a bounty-hunting job in Bosco. The guild had a relationship with that country, where they hired them to take on some dangerous criminals.

He was excited about that, and he accepted it; it was why he was in Bosco and he wasn’t alone. Lector, Luci, and Boo were with him as well. The four of them had already received the information of the bounty hunter. It came with the acceptance of it. He was able to get a picture of the man, his name, and where he was last located.

It was simple enough, but he was a dangerous fellow from what was said in the briefing of the assignment.

Lector couldn’t believe that the break they were supposed to have, had changed. He figured that Toge wouldn’t be doing any more quests until next week.

“You just don’t believe in breaks do you Toge?” He asked annoyed.

“Why would I, we have more work to do and we get more jewels. I promise no more jobs after this one for a few days.” He said this.

Luci would laugh a bit as he smoke his cigarette.

“In the end, you can only get so far. Toge loves a good fight and he wouldn’t let this pass him by. Are we close?” He said to Lector and asked Toge the question.

Toge would look at Luci and he would smile.

“Yeah, we’re close by. They saw him here not too long ago. They said something about him setting camp here.” He said to his partner.

Boo was walking with them, but he would stay quiet as he didn’t have anything to say or comment on.

It wouldn’t take long, but they would arrive at the place. They were a few distances off, but they could see the campsite that this guy must have been in. Toge would proceed with caution, but it wouldn’t work. When he took a step forward, he would hear noises coming from the entire area. He would scratch his head when he heard this, and he would see that this guy set up stuff, so he couldn’t be attacked by surprise.

“Shit, I guess we doing this the way I wanted to do it.” He said out loud.

A man would appear behind the group and he would attack both Boo and Toge. Boo was on guard when he heard the noise, and he would see the man attacking them. He would activate his spell and it would go on everyone. It was then that he would see the cracks in his barriers and knew that this was going to be interesting.

Toge would turn around after he heard the collision of something close by. He would see that he was the one being attacked by surprise. He was indeed happy that Boo was with him, but now the fight would truly start,

“Alright, we found him, so let’s take him out and get rewarded for it.” He said to him.

Alaric would hear this and he would throw more items at Toge. The adventurer would see this and he would run to the side as he was dodging the attacks aimed at him. He would start running to him, and he would close the distance between them.

He swung his scythe, which he had on his back. He would use all his force to try to take his bounty out. Alaric would see this and he would dodge by moving back, and then he would take out another blade. He was getting ready to move forward and slash Toge, but he saw something.

He would turn and he would block the incoming attack. He knew that these were going to be the threats of the group, but he didn’t think they were fast enough o attack like this. He looked at Boo as he jumped away to gain distance from the two of them. Toge would smile as it seemed like he was more than capable of handling them separately.

It was then he would rush forward to see what he would do. When Toge got close the man in front of him would activate a spell and it would be launched at him from point blank. The spell would destroy the remainder of the barrier that Boo created. It was then that he would push through the blast and attack Alaric.

Alaric would feel the wound opening up, but it was nothing too serious. Boo would appear to his side, but Alaric would turn spin off his pivot and dodge the attack before punching Boo and destroying the barrier that was on him as well.

They were impressed with how he moved against them. It was like he knew what to do with them already. Toge would spin his scythe around and he would start rushing straight to him. He would swing his weapon at Alaric a few times as he wasn’t going to let up. The man would dodge a few times and he would see Boo was close. When the fox creature attacked, Alaric would shift attention to him and he would push forward.

It was then he would throw three body punches on the creature, which would cause Boo to stumble from the attack. It would feel the pain from the blows as it stumbled back and got to its knees.

Toge would appear right next to Alaric and he would cut him again as he was focused on his companion. Alaric would take the hit, and then he would knee Toge right in his gut. The young man would feel the power behind that blow and he would cough up blood as he laughed at how much it hurt.

Boo knew that if he took another hit like that, he would become unable to battle. He decided to use his healing spell on both him and Toge. He would step back and Alaric saw this, but he dodged Toge’s attack as he also moved at the same time. Boo would get to activate his healing spell as it would go around the two of them. Toge would miss his attack against Alaric, and he would get smacked right on the face with a punch. He would fall to the ground as more blood came out.

It would cause him to laugh a bit as he got up slowly. He would feel the pain going away and he would look at Boo angrily because he wanted to feel it a bit longer.

Still, it was going to end, and it was because he knew what to do. Toge and Boo would rush the man together, and Alaric would see this as he prepared to counterattack.

When they got close to Alaric, Luci, and Lector would join in on the fight. The two of them would jump onto Alaric’s face. They would have their face covered and now he couldn’t see what was going on. Toge shook his head as he expected this to happen. They would scratch the man as well damaging him, and he would grab both of them and he would toss them away from him. It was then his eyes widened when he saw the two of them right in front of him attacking already.

One thing came into his thoughts and it was that he was fucked. The two of them landed their blows at the same time, knocking him out. Toge would see this and he would laugh out loud. He would take the man to the authorities of Bosco, and he would get paid for his work done. Once that was all done, the group would make their way back to Fiore.
