Mishiko

Everyone was finally celebrating. People were doing their well deserved breaks of drinking and eating with some dancing and prancing. The reenacted as if they had no care or worry in the world anymore. As she sat there, she had her hand against her forehead. Her eyes were tiredly looking and watching every one half fun. All she could think about was a really long sleep. Do people play music as it was rhyming? That's what it sounded like as everyone was dancing. It was not a specific dance, but it was the dance that everyone was doing as they seemed to be freestyling everything. She could feel the warmth of her companion next to her in his human form as he will not go away. He dared not to go away either, as he feared of what would happen if he left her alone. The last time he left her alone to do his own thing, he ended up with her dying.

He couldn't imagine a life without her again unless he forgot her totally next time. Even so, feelings from the heart will follow her soul to the next life as gods never truly die, they get reborn into a human till they hit the moment in their life where the God will forgive and gift their god life once more as Mishiko was going through currently. He knew that she needed her rest, but they had a few more things to do including the thing that will happen soon. Her head was resting on his shoulder as she was fluttering her eyes once more. He made sure that she was going to stay up. "I'm almost ready to just sleep," She muttered softly to him. He looked around and then looked back at her. "You should probably eat since you're going to be asleep for awhile. A bear doesn't sleep hungry," he announced.

She was happy that the whole entire world was over, and now she could finally get up slowly. But they're companions help. She got up and started to walk around, but on her first couple steps she was wobbling. "Don't worry, I will catch you on your falls," Her companion has showed her as he held onto her one arm. Her body was slowly shutting down. He knew that he will have to hurry up and get her prepared. Before he went to go find his mistress once more, he did make sure to find her friend and tell her that they will meet up at a certain place. With that in mind, he knew that her friend will be with her own lover and that he wanted her to spend time with him. Suddenly they walked around to see the people setting up their little festival carts so they could sell some snacks and treats.

She went with Ohta to look around and saw some things that made it really hard to not eat a lot. The teriyaki were her favorite and with a side of beef mein that was mixed with pork fried rice. Her stomach was growling like crazy and she could not help it. She heard Ohta chuckle at her and rolled his eyes away as he remembered Mishiko talking about how she didn't want to eat. "Sh-shut up..." she muttered in a non-threatening way, but cold due to her tiredness. "Look, complain and deny what you want, but your body speaks louder than words," he commented and went to a stall to grab something for her. He didn't bother telling her to wait as he'd know exactly where she was with his current abilities. No longer will he be lost and no longer will she be missing from his sights. Finally.

He grabbed as many things as he could for her to the point that he used her bag to put in some drinks that were capped. He came back to sit down next to her and gave her the food. He was about to sit down, but Mishiko saw a Joyan come and whisper something in his ears. He nodded and smiled at his dearest Mishiko before telling her that he will be right back. Something within Mishiko didn't want him to go, but she knew that something must have happened to where he was needed. She looked at all the food and drinks he got her and wanted to start on them since he was kind enough to get it all for her. Eating the food, her stomach rumbled, a reaction towards eating food after so long of not doing so. She made sure she was eating slow so her digestion did not take a crap. They have said that drinking and eating is bad for you if you do it at the same time, but she thinks that is bull.

After some moments she hears Ohta come back and with a blindfold. "I-...", she wanted to say something, but he rolled his eyes, "Not the time, but trust me," he told her. Her mind went to a million places, but not too many types of places since she was too tired to think of it all. She followed his way as they went up a pair of stairs, or so she assumed since she almost tripped over her own feet. She heard sighs from Ohta, but wasn't sure if they were towards her or the fact, he was thinking of something. Once she got up and she felt him turn her around she could hear nothing. There were no longer any children laughing or having fun or anything and it made her worry. The only thing that was making her feel calm was the musk of him next to her. Finally, the blindfold came off as it revealed all of Joya to congratulate her.

Someone was coming up the stairs alongside who seemed to be the guy who was being a puppet in Ayame's war. She tilted her head and saw that they were holding the symbol crown as to show the shogun. They got on their knees and bowed as everyone followed suit. The one holding the stuff seemed to be the one closest to the people who they respected. "We have fully respected your coming and are glad that you were born and raised here in our city. With horrible paths on your way, you fought for us and came back to free us. With that, we as the people of Joya have agreed to have you be our Shogun and Empress," they handed it over, the scroll of which goes down to every Shogun and Empress or Emperor. She was speechless as she thought of just retiring after this, but at the same time it came to be expected after all she has done. That and the Kami wanted this to happen since she will guard Joya from Earthland while the others safeguarded the people in the Heavenly Palace and Underworld in which her siblings and parents were.

Everyone started to cheer as the set up of everything was finally finished. As people went and cheered for Mishiko and the other heros that came to help, they went to open shop. She turned to look at Ohta who gave a tired smile, "Well, Hero? Should we get you prepared for your rest? Or find your friend and finish this before the final rest?", he wondered and jested. She did not want to be seen as a hero, but just someone who was lucky enough to be who she was and to be given the chances. "Where... where is Akuko?", she wondered. Ohta nodded and put his arm around hers as he escorted her towards the palace. The palace was beautiful as the roofs were an ocean blue, with many beautiful color flowers around the walls. She loved the nature and everything put together. Someone was there to meet up with them and it appeared to be Akuko.
