Drakkon was ready to do work as he would look at the woman who he indulged with at night. She would be the one to give him his next quest, and he wondered what it would be. He would be patient about it as he looked at her waiting for her to tell him about it.

She could see that he was waiting for the next job, and she would smile at him.

“I need you to go and pick up some stuff for the hospital. It’s not a lot, but it requires you to go to a few stores to get it. They already know that we are going to pick it up, and they should have it ready for pick up. You just need to show them this and you will be fine.” She said to him as she would hand him what was needed.

Drakkon would see it and he would take it; he would look at her with a smile on his face and he would give her a kiss.

Drakon was ready for this job and he only cared about getting paid right now. He didn’t care what they wanted him to do. He was going to do it; the young man would leave the hospital and he would look at what she had given him. It had a list of where to go and where they could be found. This was good because it meant that he didn’t have to stress himself out by looking for them. He moved through the streets of Talaz Lagaar with Luci on his shoulder.

“You’re getting stronger; I feel like I’m fading away, which sucks, to be honest.” He said to Drakkon.

He heard those words, but he wasn’t sure what he meant by them.

“You’re still here, so I don’t know what you’re talking about.” He was very confused by his words as they continued marching to their first destination.

Luci would hear him and he would chuckle as it would seem like he didn’t know what was happening.

Drakkon would be in the area where he needed to be and when he looked around he could see that a lot of stuff was closed. It would seem like there were people who were sick and couldn’t open up. There could have been others who didn’t want to get sick and closed up to avoid that. In the end, it didn’t matter as he didn’t care for their reason.

The Dragon Slayer would make his way to the first store. It wasn’t hard to find it as it was the one that was open around this area. He would enter the store without a problem and the man behind the counter would look at him.

“How can I help you?” He asked Drakkon.

“I’m here to pick this up for the hospital.” He said as he walked over to the man and he would hand him the paper.

He would look at it to see if it was authentic and when he confirmed it was, he would hand it back to Drakkon. The man would get the stuff and he would hand it to him without a problem. Drakkon would nod as he was good with the first thing they needed and now it was time to move on to the next place.

Drakkon would leave the store, and he would look around to see where he was going to go next. He looked around and he knew that the stores here weren’t the ones that he needed to go to. He would start walking off as he would follow the directions on how to get to the next place on the paper. The Joyan moved through the place peacefully and without having to worry about anybody bumping into him. This allowed him to traverse smoothly and without any inconvenience to his travel.

He would move in peace and soon enough he would see his destination. Around here there were a few stores that were open, and when he looked at the paper it would seem like they were mostly around this place. That was good as he would head to the next store that he needed to go to.

Luci would stay quiet as he was smoking his cigarette while he could.

Drakkon would head to the store and he would enter it without hesitating. When he got there, he noticed that there wasn’t anybody around the place. It would confuse him for a second because he was sure this place was open for business. He walked around the place, hoping to find someone, and soon enough he could smell someone walking in his general direction. The woman would pop her head out from the back and she would look at Drakkon. She wondered what this man wanted.

“How can I help ya?” She asked him.

Drakkon would walk over to her and he would have the paper out toward her, so she could take it and see that it was legitimate. She would take it as she was still behind the wall. After she looked at it for a few seconds, she would look at Drakkon as she hand it back to him.

“What ya looking for is right over by the door. Ya can take it and be on your way.” She said to him as she would move away and back to what she was doing.

Drakkon would look behind him as the woman disappeared on him. He would shake his head at how they were and would walk over to where she had told him to go. He would take what was needed and he would leave the store. This was good and he was making progress. He was about to get paid for doing something so simple. He thoroughly enjoyed the thought of jewels stacking up in his pocket.

“That was a weird woman if I say so myself.” He said to Luci.

Luci would hear him as he smoked his cigarette.

“Yeah, it seemed like she didn’t want to be bothered today. Seems like she must be doing something really important in the back room of the shop.” He said to Drakkon.

They would look at the paper and they would move on to the next place to pick up for delivery. It wouldn’t take them long to know where they were going, and they would start walking to the next shop.

Drakkon would make it to the next shop, and when he got there he would look inside. There he would watch a man running around his shop. It would look like he was all over the place because he couldn’t figure out what he was doing. He would shake his head because this was going to be annoying. He would enter the store and he would watch the man as he didn’t acknowledge the Dragon Slayer’s presence.

He would shake his head to this though and he needed to get this man’s attention. He would clear his throat a bit as the man was still moving around, rushing about.

“I’m here for pickup, do you have the stuff for the hospital?!” He shouted to get the man’s attention.

The man would skid on the ground as he would look over to Drakkon and blinked a few times. There was a customer for a pickup. He would run to him Drakkon and he look at him.

“Here for pick up aren’t ya? From who?” He asked as the Dragon Slayer would hand him the paper.

The man would take the paper as he was looking at it. He had to make sure that it was real, and when he did he would hand it to Drakkon.

“Ah yes, the hospital’s stuff. Now where did I put it?” He asked himself as he started going around the place.

Drakkon would hear this and he would shake his head as he knew this was going to take a while that wasn’t good, but he would step away from the man and wait for him to find what he was looking for. These people were weird and he understood why they own their own shop. They had a unique characteristic to them and probably brought in their own customers because of it.

Still, the man was taking quite a while looking for what the hospital needed. It was as if he had forgotten all about it.

“This is crazy.” He whispered to himself as he waited.

Drakkon would stare at this man as he was fumbling the bag, but soon enough he would rush to Drakkon with the supplies he needed. He would shake his head as it took too long, but at least he was done with all of this. He would take it and he would head back to the hospital. He had gotten everything the nurse had asked and he was walking fast to get to where he needed to go.

It wouldn’t take long for him to get there, and the nurses would look at his return. He put down the supplies and the nurse he bedded would approach him. She would bow slightly for getting everything for them. He would look at her as she would pay him the jewels. Her shift was also over and she had been waiting for him. Still, now that he was here, she figured they could go get something to eat and enjoy their night while he stood in Talaz Lagaar.
