Wind swept along the lines of the beach as a man scurried down the runway nearby. Across his shoulder was a satchel. Bundles of scrolls peeked out from the soft overhanging flap as the bag bobbed up and down. A curious cock of his brow arched upward. "Could it be," he spoke softly. From a time long ago he had seen travelers dressed the same way. Headed down the same cobbled street. He turned his head to look down the road and towards his old guildhall. It had been so long and this would be so sweet, he thought.
The paladin lurched forward, and with a swift snatch from his armored hand he gathered a bundle of the curiours shirt. The man yelped in surprise as his body was flung backward and thudded into the paladin. Jin stared down at the man with a devilish grin and tossed him into an alley. A dead end faced them as the curious scrambled to find a way out. To climb a wall, anything.
Jin approached with his hands held up. "Listen I just want the quests papers alright. You don't have to worry. You know that guild isn't going to do anything with them. Where are they now? At a beach? At a party?" Jin shook his head in dismay and sadness thinking about it.
"We both know they won't help you. Not like I can. Take a chance. Give it to them and its a good as forgotten. Take a chance on me. And just maybe you'll run into some good luck."
The courier cowered backward. Confusion riddled his face.
