Story: Izanagi and Jai-Han both unexpectedly undertake the same quest, one which tasks them with finding a legendary blade known as the Serpent’s Edge. However, they are not the only ones after it, it seems that a dark guild has also sent champions to take this blade to add to their power. Realizing this both set out to stop them from releasing the calamity that rests within the blade.

Objectives: Find the Sword’s Edge, stop the bad guys from taking it, and prevent the return of the great snake of calamity, Jörmungandr.

Summary: Barras is in need of assistance to acquire a rare and precious ore that is essential to complete a masterpiece weapon before his rival finishes crafting his own version. Despite being overwhelmed with responsibilities, including supplying Magnolia's guards and knights, Barras accepted the challenge. While it might seem imprudent considering his existing obligations, his pride forbade him from declining.

Barras Berend: Barras is a smith who sells all sorts weapons and armors. He is a kind guy with a lot good in him. His skills even caught the eye of the lord, which got him the task of supplying equipment for the guards and knights of Magnolia. Even thought this alone grants him a pretty stable income, he still loves to produce for other customers as well.

Talk to Barras about the assignment.
Ensure you have the necessary tools, including a sturdy pickaxe, safety gear such as a helmet and gloves, and a light source to illuminate the cave.
Travel to the East Forest Cave.
Get passed the beast that rests there.
Navigate through the intricate pathways of the Cave.
Find the rare ore deposit.
Remove any loose rocks or debris around the ore deposit to create a safe working space.
Hold the pickaxe with a firm grip and swing it forcefully at the ore deposit. Aim to strike the ore-rich parts of the deposit to break it loose from the surrounding rock.
Collect the broken ore pieces and place them in a container or bag.
After you've gathered the desired amount of ore, make your way out of the cave with caution. Then, head back to Barras to see him forge his version of the legendary Serpent's Edge and claim your well-earned reward.

Old Hermit: Having long since forfeited his given name, the hermit lives alone in the trunk of a tree in the East Forest. He has quite the set-up in there, and lives a surprisingly comfortable life. While he has isolated himself from the rest of the town, he is by no means anti-social, and is always glad to have company in his humble tree home.

Help the Old Man by procuring him a very special fruit.
Defeat the Vulcan and get the fruit.
Deliver the fruit in excellent condition to the Old Man.
