Details


Description: A misleading name to say the least, the Old Man's Kneecaps are a relic from another time when doctors would perform surgery to replace broken or decaying body parts. These kneecaps were owned by a famous battlemage, Frenz who fought in the Seven Arena for over a decade as its undefeated champion before falling to the trails of old age. These kneecaps later went onto Frenz's only legacy becoming worn by the eldest son before being lost to the sands of time. Most noteworthy is the kneecaps appearance more closely resembling two boulders rather than bodyparts.

Requirements:
  • The user must purchase this item from the Mysterious Merchant in one of his topics.

Notes:
  • The user will be unable to wear tight-fitting pants or leggings without being torn at the kneecaps.

Effects


  • Sturdy Frame: The user's legs receive a minor physical and magical resistance.
  • Matter over Mind: Binding spells applied to the user are reduced by one rank.
  • Steps in Stones: The user becomes resistant to knock-back halving the distance travelled however their speed is permanently reduced by one tier.

Hidden Effects


  • Gravel in the Flesh: The user becomes immune to knock-back when the user has done 50 roleplay posts after obtaining Old Man's Kneecaps and used it at least 2 times in combat in which they won against someone ranked equal or higher than themselves.
  • Gravel in the Bones: The user receives a minor earth resistance when the user has done 100 roleplay posts after obtaining Old Man's Kneecaps and used it at least 4 times in combat in which they won against someone ranked equal or higher than themselves. The posts and battles from Gravel in the Flesh count towards the requirement of Gravel in the Bones.
