Description: The spirit bow was once a well-renowned weapon of war and utility being used for generation after generation in the Minstrel region by elves who had proven themselves to be the best of their skills, however over time with its centuries of use the bow began to fatigue causing it to break during a hunt off the northern coast of Minstrel. Concerned about their tarnished reputation for destroying the bow, the foolhardy young elf chose not to return to their roots and have it repaired by skilled fletchers but instead sought assistance from a third party, the Talaz Lagaarian people whose island lingered off in the distance from the coast which the bow had been destroyed. Crossing the distance, the elf was able to seek their aid, however as they were more familiar with guns rather than bows, their expertise came from other sources practically erasing the original heritage of the weapon and creating what would become the true stain of the foolish elf. While the weapon was once more whole, much of it had been replaced with cumbersome inorganic reinforcements containing the machines that constantly repaired the fatiguing weapon. Returning to their home, Augmented Spirit in hand, exile was all but assured not for destroying it but rather corrupting its essence. All attempts to restore the bow were in vain with the machines placed upon it repairing the weapon faster than any elf could strip them from the bow, as such it had been left derelict for the past century collecting dust in Minstrel as a constant blight upon the elves by those who thought they knew better.

Effects



  • Material Decay: The spells from the Augmented Spirit Bow contain miniature machines that can convert even the most durable armour into mere paper as a result, whenever the user strikes a target or their armour with one of the bow's spells any present magical resistance will be reduced by one rank regardless of the rank of the spell. This effect can be stacked up to three times to remove up to Major Resistance and can not be used to apply weaknesses to the target. This effect lingers for two posts, reducing by one tier every turn unless reapplied.
  • Twin Shot: Whenever casting any of the Arrow Shot spells, the user can choose to spend double the mana to materialize two arrows of the same rank, doing so will also cause the Augmented Spirit Bow to be damage relative to the spell recast.
  • Self-Repair: The Augmented Spirit Bow is capable of repairing itself as a result it can recover up to 1x S-Ranks worth of durability per turn.

This Cluster Arrow shot contains an excessive amount of Nano-bots as a result when struck by this spell the target and their armor will have the Material Decay effect applied to them up to three times and if they have already been impacted by the Material Decay will instead suffer a minor Earth & Lightning Weakness for up to three turns.
