Nahla frowned as the heavy downpour of rain kept her firmly in place at a beautiful little cafe off the main road of the pristine " Heavenly Capital " of Sin. The Demi-God wanted to explore more but while she was enjoying herself a sudden downpour of rain nearly washed her out. Had it not been for her loyal aids she would have been soaking wet and very miserable. " We should have purchased an umbrella... " Nahla spoke in her native tongue mainly to herself but loud enough for her aids to hear. The two aids looked at each other and one of them vanished off into the rain,  the other pulling out a chair for Nahla to sit in. Since there was nothing she could do about the rain she looked around the establishment and admired the décor and architecture. It was very different than what she saw at home, yet still it was beautiful and she felt a deep pressure releasing sigh come over her body as she took it all in.

" See it was nice to make a quick stop here. We can take a boat too..Um... " Nahla couldn't remember exactly the plan and before she could make too much of a fool of herself her aid pulled out a map from her pocket and laid it on the table. " Thank you... Ah yes here. Our next stop is Minstrel. and then from there Fiore. " Pushing the map towards the aid who quickly rolled it up and removed it from Nahla's sighed deeply, ordering her aid to get food and drink for her. Nahla was not yet familiar with Sin's language so she was thankful to have such fully educated and strong aids by her side.

As the aid spoke with the waitress two men came in holding a black box, the two men were speaking a language Nahla didn't understand so she didn't pay it much attention as she continued to stare out of the cafe's window. As the men walked by her table one of the men must have lost his balance and his grip because he would soon drop the box and out slithered three large black snakes with iridescent  scales. The snakes hissed violently as they slithered near Nahla who at this point had noticed they were there but was paralyzed with fear. No one moved and the two men spoke to Nahla who couldn't understand a word that was being said. Tears began to silently run down her cheeks as her aid translated the words to her. " Two of them are harmless, but one is not. Please don't make any sudden movements.. "

Taking in slow but deep breaths she calmed herself. She wouldn't let something like this rattle her, not when her father was a god. Shooting a look at her aid that said in so many words " Fix this. " Nahla was not in the mood to play a game of charades with these men who stupidly would bring snakes into an establishment like this. She could feel two of the snakes gliding up her leg while one slithered over her feet. Their bodies were very heavy and every so often she could feel their little tongues flicker back and forth over her skin, probably to see if she was food.

Yijun was walking around the city with a long hooded cloak on to keep himself dry from the rain. The chill in the air and the rain wetting the street made Yijun figure he should stop for a hot chocolate in a near by cafe or have some tea both would help to get the chill out of him he figured. As he got closer he saw a small crowd had formed near the cafe and he wondered why there would be a crowd unless they were having a special or something or had someone important in the cafe. He got up to the cafe and he looked in seeing the woman and the snakes and he blinked then made his way into the cafe. He walked past her attendants who he swore looked to him in fright.

He looked at the woman who was clearly crying with the snakes on her, he was unsure if she was crying in fear or if the snakes moving on her tickled her body and he spoke in Fiorian unsure if she is from around here, but figuring as she is dressed quite differently than other people and had two people dressed in a similar style to her. "Just stay calm I will handle them." His hand touched her and a body shield swept across her body, then he pointed his finger at the snakes and started debuffing the snakes to slow them and draw their attention to himself.

He put his hand out and a spear appeared in his hand, he then used his foot to put the box they were in up right. He used the blunt end of his spear to slowly and carefully push the danger noodle away from her as he was dealing with the dangerous one first as he was part of the research division in his faction so he was well learned on creatures as well as other studies one might need, though he hadn’t gained the captain spot yet he was not going to give up. He got the dangerous snake into the box then he kneeled and got the other two snakes off of her the body shield making sure the snakes didn’t bite her. He got them back into the box and closed it and his spear disappeared back into his arm tattoo. He looked up at the woman while still kneeling and spoke again even if he was unsure if she could understand him.

"Are you okay? Were you bit or hurt?" The body shield he had on her was ended and he looked at her legs as if she got hurt he would use healing magic but she would probably have to point out where she was hurt at.

The snake's slow movement and the hushed whispers of those present didn’t make Nahla feel any more uncomfortable, by this point she was nearing the realm of annoyance. A situation like this should have been easily resolved by one of her aides, but instead, she stood like a statue being gawked at and stared down. Time seemed to slow as the snakes inched up her body. The people around her looked stupid, doing nothing, until one man approached her speaking in the main language of Fiore something she understood and had practiced heavily for her trip there. Nahla was relieved that someone was finally doing something, but she held her relief in as she felt his hand touch her, his mana sweeping over her, forming a shield of sorts.

Nahla calmly watched as the man masterfully took control of the situation, removing the snakes and placing them back into the black box. Her body, which had been so tense before, almost immediately relaxed, causing her to let out a deep sigh of relief. She wiped the beads of sweat that had formed on her forehead with her delicate hand.

"Thank you so very much. By Set, I thought they were going to eat me. But thankfully, I’m not hurt." Her words were flawless in their execution of the Fiorian language, but her accent was thick and smooth, revealing where she was from to anyone familiar with her homeland. "Amon! Ashna! I don’t care how you do it, but get rid of those two men. They dare bring danger near me! Let their bones feed the sands!" Like venom, Nahla hissed the words at her aides in their native tongue, who nodded in acknowledgment. They couldn’t act immediately, but once the men left, one of her aides would follow them. The men wouldn’t live to see tomorrow.

"I’m sorry, I’m Nahla. Thank you again for getting me out of that situation. Is there any way I can repay you? I mean, I practically owe you my life." Unfortunately, this was true she would have probably been bitten by the poisonous snake, and who knows how horribly that could have ended.

Hearing the woman wasn't hurt he put his hood back revealing his black hair and his blue eyes. He stood up from the floor and he wondered if she was really okay as she had just pretty much said she owed him, something he had not heard someone say to him before. "It is nice to meet you and my name is Yijun, I will kindly turn down your offer to me of a life debt. As you were just someone in need and I shouldn't take advantage of that." He simply smiled at her then went to a different table and he took the shield he had on his back off placing it on the floor against the side of his seat then took his seat as he was going to have tea and maybe a piece of cake along with it as he was a bit chilled from the wet weather outside that he was glad he was ready for it.

He hadn't thought twice about turning down her life debt as he knows that taking advantage of people in need only hurts them in the end as they will either stop asking for help or become too relent on it and not be able to live without help for ever problem that they face as they go. Even if Yijun was part demon he wasn't going to use power over others to force their hand or make this woman swear her life to him. He sensed something was a bit off about her in some way but he wasn't going to question her as her words sounded like she was of a finer breed then he was and he shouldn't mess with her.

A good heart. That wasn't rare for Nahla to see but she didn't know what to expect for people outside of her home so she was pleasnalty surprised. As she had given her own name he in return gave his and it was, as she learned, was Yujin. Although him turning her down was a noble gesture she could not except it. She would not let bad karma attatch itself to her, and even if Yujin didn't belive that, she did.  Standing up and gliding over to Yujin's table she folded her arms over her chest, a small frown creasing her otherwise perfect face. " I'm sorry. I cannot accept that. An eye for an eye. A debt must be repaid, and it must equate the..." Unfolding her arms she placed one hand on her hip and waved the other hand in circluar sort of motion as she thought of the wording. " It must equate the lets say severity of the owed debt. So you save my life, I either save yours or some equivilent. "

Nahla shot a look towards the aid that had stayed with her, Amon. Amon was a large and imposing man with broad shoulders, sunken golden eyes, and short hair with a shock of white streaking across the left side of his head. Between the two he was the quieter one. Nahla could say more with her eyes to her aids than she could ever say with words. They grew up with her, they trained and learned with her, and when she shot Amon that look he made quick work to pull out the chair that sat directly across from Yujin at his table. Nahla took the seat and the chair was pushed back in. Her order had instead come to this table, filling it up with cakes, teas, riceballs, and other Sin related food items. " Don't worry. I'll even pay for your order. You are welcome to my food.. I always order too much anyway. " Nahla smiled as Amon poured her a cup of tea and cut her a slice of cake. Taking the cup to her lips she was delighted at how light it was as it went smoothly down her throat.

Yijun heard that the woman wasn't giving up and he guessed that he would have to go deeper and farther explain this to the woman. "A life doesn't have an equivalent, a life is priceless. Some people see other peoples lives as having more while others see lives of lower value to them. Take the man that just pushed in your chair and the other that went after the snake man. They both froze so either they saw your life as more then theirs and were weighing the risks of getting you killed or they were seeing themselves as worth more and didn't wish to risk their lives." He sipped his drink as he had no interest in taking from the woman and her collection of things that came to the table he was not above accepting things from people out of the kindness of their heart but it was different when someone feels like they owe him something like this when he was not worth the hassle as he was just a commoner that did something to help.


He sat his cup down on the table gently and he looked at her to meet her eyes with his own blue eyes. "What do you see as an equivalent to me saving your life? To force you to serve me like a slave? To make you bare my child as a life for a life? To force you to be my wife? Your life wasted with someone you don't like, like that but through a random happening you became life debted to do so? I don't think you need to owe me a life debt I took a risk that could have killed us both if anything you should have scolded me for being careless and endangering you and myself if anything." He was just being honest about it as he could have gotten them both killed as he was just acting and no real forward planning besides the body shield he used on her to protect her in case the snake was to be angered by him getting close and moving them off of her, those snakes could have just as easily turned and bit him or have went off to attack someone else but he risked more people in his actions so he doesn't feel it right this woman owe him anything.

His words hung heavy in the air. Of course she had not thought about anything he said, if she did think of those things before then she would have approched him diffrently. Still no matter what he said, no matter how he phrased it, the outcome had to be as she said. A debt must be repaid. But she didn't open her mouth quickly, because she had to really take in what he said. To him a life was priceless and that may have been true but what was also true was that she fell into the other category to a very extreme extent. She was born with a god for a father and that meant in her lands she was more important than most of those who were not. The Pharoah was born with the will of the gods and he was more important than them all. Life did have a price depending on who you were. Placing a bit of cake in her mouth she enjoyed the sweet flavor which only made the more mellow and light tasting tea better. The cake was filled with strawberry bits and a fluffy pink whipped cream.

" You have made your point. But.. I reiterate. A debt must be repaid. Perhaps not so severe as a life debt since you have argued successfully that you could have put more us into more danger, but nonetheless you saved me. I know you did it because that's just the kind of person you are but I cannot leave knowing that I did nothing in return even if you don't want it. It simple goes against my beliefs. " She spoke in a stern tone as she added honey to her tea, pouring the sticky, golden sweetener into her cup and stirring it in before taking another sip. He gave examples of life exchange and althought she would never consider them because she didn't know a lick about this man, they weren't bad choices overall considering helping him out of a near death expereince was the option her narrow mind had focused on. " Some of your life exchange ideas weren't bad ones... Though I think we'd have to spend alot more time together before I let you plant life in my womb. " A smug smirk crossed her face but Amon's face darkened at the thought and his dark stare bore down on Yujin. " What are we to do. It seems neither of us will budge on this. "

Yijun listened to her as he sipped more of his drink and had more of his own sweets as he was sure that she was going to give up on the end as there was nothing that she could really give him for the life debt so he was sure that she would have to give up on the idea but it seemed that she was not going to be turned off of the idea so quickly by his words and he sighed a bit as he heard her keep going on about it then he heard her say his ideas weren't bad. He was not sure which ones she though weren't bad and that was something that he would soon find out when she said out in the air to him that she needed to know him longer before she allowed him to plant life in her and he nearly fell out of his chair and he looked at her. "How long do you need to know someone before you let them do that since you just said that like you were not against the idea of baring my child just that you needed to get to know me for longer."

When he felt the man look down on him Yijun looked back at the man his eyes flashing a more set of demonic eyes back at the big man to show that he was not scared of the man in the least bit and intimidating him was going to get the big man no were. His eyes turn back to normal and he looked back to the woman and he took a breath before speaking to her. "What do you want to do to repay the debt since you are not going to let it go and I don't want to offend you in some way and having you leave feeling dejected and like you failed in your want to repay me." He just wanted to help her get past this and get the life debt over so it was not something that was left looming over himself that he would have to tackle later or have her follow him till she could save him from something and maybe getting herself or the other two that were with her killed just to make the point.

She was joking. Her little quip about getting knocked up was truly a joke, a joke that was not meant to be followed up with an actual response. Nahla almost choked on her tea as she sipped it but she kept herself calm and composed. She could either entertain that response and dig this conversation deeper away from the joke it was suppose to be, or do the right thing and stop it in it's tracks...
" Oh I'm sure if we spend ample amounts of time together eventually we'd form a strong bond and know when the right moment is to bare children. I cannot give you an exact amount of time, it varies from person to person you see. " Plucking a small peach like fruit from the bowl next to her cake, she popped it into her mouth and bit into it. An explosion of juices errupted in her mouth causing her to place her hand over her lips to hide the fact that some of the juices found their way on her chin. Grabbing a napkin her eyes caught Yujin's at the moment when they changed, but they didn't change at her.

" Amon, please don't be nasty to Yujin. He's the reason I'm alive.. Something that you failed to do remember? " Her words didn't hold any malice, it was just a factual statment. " I'm sorry, about that. as far as what I want? Well it dosen't matter what I want.. In fact i wouldn't even know where to start. Maybe we can arrange something that would satisfy the debt and not put you in a situation that's so uncomfortable? I mean your other ideas are still on the table if we ever are around each other long enough to fufill it. " Taking a sip of tea to clear her throat she really didn't know how to pay a life debt, she had never been in such a situation where she was on the end of such a thing. In fact what the hell was she suppose to do, she had brought it up and wouldn't let it go now she needed to settle this like the had all the cards in her hand when she clearly did not.

Yijun just sighs at her comment as she spoke so adamantly of needing more time before she would be willing but she had no idea of the length of time she would need for this to be a thing that she was comfortable with. He didn't understand people that comment on things with a seeming strong answer but then asked to clarify they seem to lack the knowledge that they seemed to have the moment before that made her wonder if this woman was just all show and no substance. "Okay then we covered that you are unwilling to fill the life debt with baring my child in a quick answer to this life debt to get it over with."

He listened as she said that she had no idea on were to start and other things that were pretty much her saying that she had no clue how to repay him and a slightly clear look that she might be realizing that she had written a check her ass couldn't cash and now she is at a loss how to repay him. "Well I would say you need to think of a way to pay the debt that way we can both move on and you are not stuck with a life debt that you can't repay and I can go cause you said I wasn't to live before you figured it out." He has no idea how a life debt is paid either he just wanted to get this life debt thing over with as she was seeming to be far over the top and either she had some form of power or influence.

Both of those would bode bad for Yijun if he pissed her off but he doesn't like that she thinks that she owes him a life debt that she called in as her need to return the favor but Yijun is at a loss on how to even go about helping her to repay it in a fast way so she didn't keep the debt. He finished his tea and the sweets he had gotten himself and he readied himself to get ready to leave.

"I never said I was unwilling to bare your child. It's just not something I'm going to do right away. But that aside. I am at a loss.. Perhaps I need to wait until your life is actually in danger and save you. Yes. Until then whenever you need a favor I will come to your aid, or I save you from death.. Whichever comes first. "

Hovering her delicate fingers over a bun filled with meat, she plucked it from the pile of buns and bit into it. The succelnt meat was a treat to the sense and covered her tongue in savory, washing away the previous sweetness that had settled there. It seemed like today would go unresloved, something that would sit heavy on her mind until she paid back the debt she thinks she owes. A frown formed on Nahla's face as she hopped nothing bad would happen now that she had to carry this around with her. Having half of the food packed up and requesting the other half be given to those less fortuante. Nahla stood from her seat, her violet gaze looking down at Yijun.

" You are a hard man to please Yijun, perhaps in the future when we meet again, we'll come to a conclusion to this little life payment delimia, or we can simply enjoy each other's comapny more." With a smile and a nod she led the way out of the little cafe with Amon close behind her, the markings on her cheeks tingingly slightly.
