Extra: N/A Personality Personality: Dominic is normally seen upon first meeting as humble and joyful. He tends to be of a giving nature and prefers to help others especially in trying to uplift them. He is a spiritual man who seeks to find philosophical answers to many situations, rarely being materialistic. Discipline is an expected tenant for a person of his practice, but he doesn't find it a necessary tenant, though he uses it as a way to better himself spiritually and as an overall person. He believes there can be good within anyone and as well there can be evil within anyone, which gives him the belief that everyone has a chance at redemption, though he wouldn’t allow himself to fall to the acts of a zealot; though he believes in second chances, he wouldn’t risk the safety of others for the sake of saving the soul of an evil being, for he understands that risks and sacrifices can be made, but some may be too costly for one’s personal beliefs. When it comes to inner turmoil, Dominic turns to his faith in Illumin, believing the deity, though not having any direct interaction with the world, would provide wisdom and growth indirectly through the good in the world, and through his heavenly beings the seraphim. The light is an important philosophical and spiritual aspect for Dominic, believing it to the be the key to many things in his path through the world. Likes:

It allows you to summon divine beings from another plane of existence by the use of golden coins. Each of these creatures is magnificent with their holy powers. They ask from you, not your mana but your life's essence. The longer you have these champions by your side, the greater risk you place your own body. History History: Dominic was born to Armin Luzero and Athena Luzero. Though both his parents were raised in Stella, they had married in the Illumin church in Fiore in order to escape the old traditions of their parents, though Dominic wouldn't know this until he reached his adult years. Athena's family was practically a matriarch, despite that she carries her husband's last name and passed it onto her son. Though Alegria Esperanza had several children, mostly daughters, she was closest to her youngest, Athena, to the point she wanted to pass on the title of Maestra of the old faith to her. Alegria practiced a form of shamanism that incorporated communion of the old gods and practices of the old Nahuatl faith as well as the practice of the Illumin faith, however her practiced leaned more to the Nahuatl faith. Her workings with the spirits and magic was recognized by others in their community back in their own town in Stella; her healing, mediumship and counseling helped many people. When Athena was old enough, Alegria began teaching her the ways of the old faith, though the other daughters in the family were taught this as well as it is normally customed, she intended for her youngest to take her position as Maestra. Though Athena had innate spiritual intuition like her mother, she didn't have the proficiency of an espiritista; one evening while her mother was sick and unable to assist her, Athena was left with tending to not only her mother but her spiritual duties. Because she wasn't sure of what she was doing, having doubt and hesitation, the spell backfired and caused a shade to fall upon the house which wasn't lifted until Alegria was well enough to banish it. This was the catalyst for Athena to renounce the old faith and lean heavily to the Illumin faith. This choice has caused a slight rift between the family, word of either faith was not spoken, especially at the dinner table or social gatherings. To escape the influence of the Nahuatl faith, Athena settled in Fiore after getting married. She would then later birth her son Dominic. During this time, her siblings would migrate to Fiore for their own reasons. Seeing her children had all moved to Fiore, Alegria decided to move as well to be closer to her family. Though the difference in practice and belief was still there, the love of the family remained, albeit by several strings due to each person's personal issues. Alegria's death had changed many things; the strands of the family had severed, sisters and brothers rarely visited one another any longer, all going their own way; Athena fell into mourning for some time which reflected the dark cloud that hung over the family. Though it was her faith that brought her back, holding onto the love and memory of her mother. Dominic was was still young when his grandmother passed away, so knew little of her belief and practice. He would eventually grow up in the church and become a priest of the Illumin faith. Though he knew the teachings well of the church, he still carried with him tradition and practices that hint the old Nahuatl faith because they were part of his heritage. At some point, the church he was appointed had caught wind of his tendencies to use old faith practices, despite being very minor, he was approached by others in the church and prompted to drop the act, this including his own parents who were respected members of the church. Despite his love for his parents, he couldn't relinquish his practices. Through his irritation of the church and personal waver of his faith, he took a period of absence. At one point, visiting his parents, in secrecy, Athena had provided Dominic a gold coin that shown the image of angelic wings. An heirloom that was passed down to her from Alegria, she told him it was a token used to pray to the guardian angel that protected the family. Despite such an act would be seen as heresy by their sect of the church, she still hid it away in memory of her mother. Dominic accepted it and thanked his mother. He would then formally leave their church in order to go on a spiritual journey to find his truth and rekindle his faith, he set out alone only hinting this to his mother, but daring not to tell them more, for he didn't want to risk his parents' reputation in their church which has played a big role in their life and marriage. Now he seeks to find his truth. Discord: Brone |
