“Whoooaaa, looking good, guys!” Hands tucked into the waistband of her skirt and a smile upon her face, Bella Benini strolled upon the snowy shoreline of Hargeon and took in the efforts of those who were currently combining their artistic expertise together with the ambient resources, and frankly enjoyed what she saw. Though, perhaps, not as much as previous days.
“Nah, sorry, no modelling today? I'm the other side of the ice…” Making the spot her 'beat' as it were given how she was one of the resident hosts and doing so by letting a few of the ones more able to chisels and the like to capture her likeness in the crystalline medium through which they conveyed their message, the essence of the flirty fox had been caught clad in swimwear already in the days previous, but given the amusement that seeing what others could make of her she couldn't help but feel curious as to what could be conjured with her own efforts.

I just need a subject… A master of both fashion and maker magic as well so perhaps more gifted with the subject of expression than most might have given her credit for, the blonde shuffled her way toward one of the as-yet untaken blocks of the blue stuff before letting loose a breath and searching for inspiration, and searched the seafront for a sign of something which might be able to stir something up within her…

Ulyssia sat on the cool sand, her piercing gaze fixed on the lively scene before her. Artists of all kinds carved ice and sculpted sand, some crafting intricate ecosystems that seemed to breathe life into the shoreline. Beside her, Jasper lay with his snow-white fur gleaming under the sun, his sharp blue eyes calm as she absently ran her fingers through his coat.

She wasn’t one for socializing, much less art. Battle and politics, that was her domain. The closest she came to artistry was the occasional poem, and even those were clunky at best. Yet, she watched the others with a quiet respect. This event, organized by Blue Pegasus--her guild--and another called Dawn of the World, or something like that, had drawn out more talent than she expected.

“Some of them are really good,” she murmured, her voice low as if speaking only for Jasper.

The beach attire didn’t bother her. She was rarely dressed for modesty, her cropped tank and short wrap more than enough for the heat. At least here, she blended in, though her toned, scarred frame still stood out in its own way.

She exhaled slowly, glancing at the clusters of guildmates laughing and working together. “Suppose we should try to make some friends,” she said to Jasper, a wry smile tugging at her lips. “Or at least, you could. You’re the friendly one.”

“Oho~?” Not taking all that long either before that stunning sapphire stare seemed to settle upon something which she saw as sublime, Bella bit into her bottom lip as she eyed something which has seemed to be crafted by the gods themselves, and perhaps if she was caught doing so would have done little to hide the look of hunger in her gaze as she did so.
“Well, well, well… lookie what we have here, hm~?” For that reason seeming to lick at those lips and for a moment lose herself to thoughts which are perhaps best not described around those of innocent or sensitive disposition, the fair haired fox could think of plenty which she might be able to do with assets like those, including art work and far, far beyond that.

“Excuse me, Miss, I have to say… You look like the sort of woman who looks good draped with fruit and little else…” For that reason opting to waste little time or opportunity for another to snatch up a subject who was quite so splendidly stunning as this, Miss Benini seemed to break into a little trot and wave her hand above her head as she scampered toward this stranger and spoke words which were as absent of guilt as the look in her eyes, she continued to scan and scrutinise such effortless sensuality as she attempted to acquire the service of this siren for her cause, be it sculpting or perhaps otherwise.
“Fancy helping me scratch my artistic itch~?” For the moment focused upon the task to which she had arrived in part because she felt it might be a nice little icebreaker in more ways than one, the blonde belle beckoned to the block which she had got for herself to sculpt and batted her lashes toward her would-be new friend merrily, hoping that she might be able to charm or otherwise coerce her into sharing her company and perhaps, in time, a little more than that with it~?

Ulyssia

WORDS: 584 | TAG: @Bella

The wolfen duo had been keeping to themselves, their quiet gazes more a reflection of habit than intent. Ulyssia sat with her legs tucked beneath her, one hand buried in Jasper’s thick white fur as they watched the vibrant activity on the shore. She knew the point of being in a guild --especially one like Blue Pegasus--was building relationships. But putting herself out there was harder than any battle she’d fought. Compared to the effortlessly artistic and dazzling individuals around her, she felt… different. Out of place.

A sudden voice broke through her thoughts, bold and unmistakably directed her way.

"Is she… talking to me?" she whispered, glancing down at Jasper, who only lifted an ear in response.

As the voice’s owner came closer, Ulyssia’s breathing spiked. The woman was stunning practically ethereal, with a magnetic confidence that made Ulyssia’s skin produce goosebumps. By the time she stood before the Hailstar, Ulyssia’s heart was practically beating out of her chest, her face flushed despite the cool breeze. Jasper for the most part, lay unmoving, observing the exchange with the calm amusement of someone who’d seen this play out before. There were methods rumored to be able to grant a creature the ability to speak, but Jasper was more content the way he was. And this was why.

When the stranger asked for her help with her art, Ulyssia froze, her cheeks burning. The Werewolf blinked at first, caught entirely off guard. Her mind raced, fumbling for words. “M-me? Oh, no, I-I couldn’t,” she stammered, her voice shaky and unsteady.  “I-I think you might have the wrong person! I’m not… I mean, I’m not creative! I-I wouldn’t know where to start! I’d pr-probably ruin whatever you’re working on!”

The excuses tumbled out, each one sounding more frantic than the last as she tried to shrink into herself. “I’m just not good at this sort of thing.” Her voice trailed off, her nerves evident in the way her fingers tightened in Jasper’s fur. She was a warrior, forged in battle and tempered by hardship. But here, faced with this radiant stranger and her effortless charm, Ulyssia felt utterly out of her league.
