Yuuki walked with Yumi and Miyuki through Orchidia again as the two of them had cast Advanced Metamorphose on themselves as they made there way down to the job board to see what jobs were available for them to take as Yuuki had been saving up jewels to better outfit the three of them. There was a small group of people gathered around the board as people picked and flitted through the fliers trying to decide which jobs of the remaining ones were worth doing, as Yuuki scanned the board his eyes caught yet another request to help remove rats from Orchidia 'again?' Yuuki though as he reached for the paper. Miyuki happened to catch a glimpse of the words on the job request "Oh not that fucking shit again." She said annoyed "Don't matter how many fucking times we do that quest it will never be taken care of permanently since they fuck and breed like rabbits." She said with the roll of her eyes "Money is money though... and you like sweets which are expensive... least you can do is earn your keep." Yumi said with a yawn as she grew tired of Miyuki constantly taking issue with nearly everything they did " Don't worry I have a plan this time and it involves cats." Yuuki said with a chuckle as he tried to deescalate the situation before the two ended up at each others throats.

"Cats?" Miyuki and Yumi questioned at the same time "Mhm, cats are the natural predator of the furry menaces... might not hurt to get some owls too." Yuuki said to the two of them as he pulled the flier down off the board before anyone else could claim the fairly simple job since it paid well for being so simple, mainly because the rats were an infestation which effected daily life and ruined peoples food stores with their fecal matter along with the fact they often carried and harbored diseases that could quickly spread amongst the citizens who lived here and that would be especially bad since they usually were fast acting and sometimes fatal diseases. "Where are we gonna get that many cats to cover the city enough for it to be effective? Miyuki questioned in a curious but still annoyed tone "Well the local humane society of course, we will just have to convince them that having cats roaming about would be more beneficial to the long term culling of the rat population." Yuuki said with a nervous chuckle knowing just how hard it might be to convince the humane society since they likely would feel like such a endeavor would be a waste of their time and volunteer hours spent catching the furballs.

The trio slowly walked towards the local Humane Society as Yuuki tried to think up a plan to convince the people at the place to let him release all the cats they had captured which for a city of this size was likely a few hundred, the only issue came with the logistics of releasing cats in a equal manner across the city to give a wide enough area of coverage to allow for territory for each cat and so the rats just didn't go to an area with less cats which they would instinctively do to avoid one of their natural predators, though the more Yuuki thought about it the Humane society was likely just as guilty for causing the infestation since they rounded up most if not all the stray cats which usually keep small rodent populations in check, but with out their interference the population was left unchecked and allowed to grow rapidly to become the infestation it was now today. "Yuuki, How are we gonna transport that many cats quickly and efficiently... the city is huge and would take a day or two to accomplish." Yumi said in a curious manner "I never said it was gonna be quick this time; however I think we can get it done in a single day if we split up and work fast." Yuuki said in warm and confident manner.

Yuuki and his companions walked a bit longer in silence as Yuuki further smoothed out things in his head, eventually ending up at the steps of the Humane Society 'Well here goes nothing.' Yuuki thought as he gripped the handle to the establishment and headed inside towards the receptionists desk. Yuuki was greeted by the receptionist who asked what she could help him with and if he was here to adopt a new family member to which Yuuki explained he wasn't but he did ask how many cats they currently were holding and the woman looked briefly at a list stating they had four hundred and twelve before asking why he wanted to know that information to which Yuuki nervously chuckled stating he needed all 412 to release into the city so he could deal with the cities rat infestation to which the receptionist narrowed her eyes got up and went into the back to either get someone or just not to deal with someone she might consider playing a prank either way Yuuki was not sure; however a few minutes later the receptionist returned with what Yuuki assumed was the branch manager who asked him about what he was trying to do and why they should surrender that many cats to him considering they had no way of knowing if he was telling the truth to which Yuuki held up the job flier he had acquired from the job board.

After an hour or two of back and forth discussion Yuuki finally hit the branch manager with the simple fact that if there were no stray cats to hunt the rats so they were partly to blame for the explosion in the rat population. Arguments continued after this for a time until the manager finally relented and told the receptionist to get him all the cats he asked for and that she was also to provide them two cat carries a piece so they could quickly disperse the cats across the city since she was only going to give him all the cats he wanted between their hours of being open and he had approximately 8 hours to get the job done, but during that time period he could release as many cats as he had time to release "Alright ill go north, Yumi go west, and Miyuki go east and we will meet back up in the south and just let cats out here as needed since that will take far less time." Yuuki said confidently to which the girls nodded.

The trio got to work and quickly made their way to the cardinal direction they had took running down the street with two cat carriers a piece reaching their release point releasing both cats before sprinting back to the Humane Society to get two more cats as they rinsed and repeated the process for hours releasing around three hundred or so cats between the three of them, only stopping for a brief lunch and hydration break before resuming their tedious and tiring work of rushing about the city letting cats out at various points that Yuuki had marked on the map and making sure the cats actually started hunting rats that were out wandering the streets, before returning to get more cats until they had reached a point that all of them were back in the southern portion of the city where they were just tossing cats out the front door of the humane society.

Just as the sun went down the trio had just released the last cat in the southern area before returning the cat carriers to the Humane society and thanking for their help in assisting with coming up with a more permanent solution in dealing with the rat problem while also reminding them not to round up all the cats and if they did the problem would just rear it's ugly head yet again and that was something Yuuki hoped he had drove home for them as he was getting quite tired of having to deal with this problem every so often and he was sure that Yumi and Miyuki were as well. The trio slowly made their way to the place where they could turn their quest in and get their reward they would have moved faster but having ran all over the city all day they were all three understandably tired the only thing the three of them wanted was to get paid, a meal, a bath and then to sleep.
