So instead he made his way to the beach with the intent of only shining through the events, so that he could help himself improve in the long run. He would make sure that no one would be able to put him and his guild through that again, and sometimes that took a small investment such as this. So getting in line for the limbo contest and giving a weak smile to those in line with him, he was ready to begin.

"Interesting, I've not seen you in some time--though I may have changed faces, my name remained the same--that being Maarschalk."
He spoke to his contender; Maarschalk wore no weapons that day, although that limbo stick could be used in a lethal manner should the Blue Pegasus mage get rowdy because of Maarschalks presence, though, if he remembered the attitude that he observed in him, such a thing wouldn't happen--not here anyway.

“Hai finn how is it going? Are you having fun on our beach event so far.”, he would ask of finn while he eyed the guy in the bucket race that fell flat on its face with the bucket of water over him. Poor guy he tought.

Walking up to the line, he took up the fourth position. Of the three other contestants before him, he recognized the first male. He believed to have met him at some point in Era several months ago. He did not share a fond memory of the blond as the two engaged in a little spar. Although revenge would be sweet, now was not the time to attract unwanted attention. Instead, he would focus on the limbo contest and leave a winner.

It was obvious he wasn't as full into the conversation as he normally would be, though maybe that was only to those who knew him better. Finn was not exactly close to either of the current contestants, and the third one who wondered over was no different. Finn had met him once before, an individual known as Shin. He had been a strange one, and to talk with him now likely wasn't smart. Instead, as the music began playing, they would all begin limboing. Finn would lead the way, and hope that he was able to make it to the next round.

All four of them walked up to the bar and started to hear some singing an a guy giving instructions. The moment he said go low the bar started to move towards them and they had no other choice then to dodge underneath it. He went low on his knees and went with ease underneath it. He wasa Neki things like this were easy for him but he did feel something twisting in his back. Elisa was keeping him in her view from the side lines and was hoping her master wouldn’t fall or lose the competition. She would be happy if he could win it.

Two men in skirts of leaves appeared with a long pole as music began to play. The music was loud enough that it would not distract the other event-goers. As the two men began to shimmy towards Shin and the others, the limbo contest had officially begun. One by one, the contestants attempted to brave the long pole of doom that was coming towards them. As the pole came closer to Shin, he decided to act. He moved towards the pole and judged the spaced between the pole and the sand. He was tall person himself but with enough coordination between his body, he was sure he could avoid falling. Bending his back, he began to waddle forward with the hope that he could avoid coming into contact with the pole. Being the last person to go, there was a special kind of pressure that came with. A pressure that Shin welcomed.

So the three of them listened as the music increased in pace, and as the limbo stick dropped ever lower. Finn sighed, spreading his feet wider and his arms further out as if they somehow could correct his awkward sense of balance. As he lowered himself, he began once again passing under the limbo stick in the hope that he could last until the end. He had almost lost just then, and he would have to make sure that he did not lose in only the second round. Preferable it would be to win the whole thing.

He paid close attention to how the other two contestants went about attempting to avoid the pole. Both displayed awkward stances but admirable balance. Cracking his neck and taking a deep breath, Shin began to bend his back backwards. There was a slight pain ringing throughout his body as he was not used to flexing his body in a position like this. He waddled forward as best he could, doing his best to remain upwards and avoid coming into contact with the pole. The cheers of the crowd intensified as more and more onlookers appeared. Although this was supposed to be a fun game of limbo, it was more than that. There was a certain competitive atmosphere that lingered in the air. The other men did not plan to lose and neither did he.

Shin's last opponent was the tall, black haired fellow. It was surprising that despite his tall stature, he was able to balance his body exquisitely. However, this was no time to stand in awe and admiration. He had a game of limbo to win. The limbo pole was lowered another twenty centimeters, leaving a painful thirty centimeter gap. With that small of a gap, someone was bound to get hurt. It was going to either be Shin or his opponent.
As the music volume was raised, the crowd intensified in their cheers. This was the final round of limbo. It was winner take all. Looking at the man before him, Shin took note of his form. Sucking in the stomach would be key. Taking a deep breath and exhaling, Shin bent his back and sucked in his stomach as much as possible. He dug his feet into the sand and waddled forward one last time with the hope of victory. He moved to the music allowing his mind to control his body. Avoiding falling and coming into contact with the pole at the same time with as little space as thirty centimeters was a seemingly impossible task. If anyone could do it though, it would be the phantom lord mage.

“Darn, she could be anywhere,” he mumbled once he stumbled upon another area in the beach, an area that specified another contest that would be held very soon. Once realizing where he stood at, he looked at Ana who had also moved to this contest as well. This contest didn’t look very familiar, though, so he had to find out what the objective here was. There was a long stick, though, so that did add to the curiosity too, but he never heard of the word ‘Limbo’ before. It was pretty strange.
