It was just another day in Marigold. Rishi walked through the city streets, Venus at her side, looking for something to do. Things were so lonely out in this town, when you really didn't know anybody. Everyone seemed to ignore you, and act like you weren't there, and as the rain started to fall, tears started running down the grey haired girl's face. She had no one to talk to, no one to hang out with, and it was truly terrible. She was going to move soon, yes, going to somewhere new, somewhere to where she believed all of the few meaningful people were.
The sun hadn't been covered as the rain came down, causing every drop to glisten. The tears on her face shined brightly, and Venus had looked down. Today was so depressing, and Rishi had no idea what to do. She was planning to just go back home and mope around in her hotel room, but Venus had pulled her out into the cold morning air, out to go do things, to brighten up her day. There wasn't really anything that she could pull herself to do today though, so she really didn't need to come outside. She had Venus tugging at her pant leg, and even though it became loose and the grey haired mage hated it that way, right now she even have enough feeling to care about anything. She needed someone, someone who could stay with her forever and always. She needed to find them, whoever they may be, and get together with that person. This was going to be her next driving force, other than cooking delicious meals for all her guild mates and seeing all the happiness spread throughout the guild.
She finally had a bit of motivation, so she gave Venus a couple pats on the head and made him let go, and she finally fixed her pant leg. Venus ran along the streets, trying to lead the grey haired girl to something. She had power walked after him, seeing as she didn't have too much motivation to do anything, and she followed him all the way to the quest board. Of course he would lead her here, trying to get her to do something productive. He was smart, she could admit that, but he wasn't the smartest. She squatted down and whispered something into Venus' ear, making him step back, sitting down a second later. She looked at the quest board and grabbed a job, the client somewhat familiar. She grabbed a job and walked off, going the opposite direction from her hotel room. If Venus wanted her to do something and not be mopey, then she would do so, for the only person she had left.
More tears fell down her face as she walked, and the rain had started to cease. The girl's hair was damp, her sad eyes glimmering in the morning light. If only there were someone she could love, someone she could care for, then things would be different, she would be happy.
