It was just another peaceful day in the town of Oak for Rishi. Her mood had brightened up a bit since she had met Jeremiah, and it had certainly helped her see color again. She was happy that she had come all the way out to Oak, as it really opened up her eyes and made her see and experience things that she had never experienced before, like the feeling of true happiness, and love. She had felt her heart skip a beat because of someone else, and she thought that was truly remarkable. She never knew that the heart could do such strange things, and Rishi believed that it hadn't ever happened to anyone else before, and she had been the first person to ever experience it. She would have to put that thought off for now though, as today she was going on another quest. She had gone on a quest a few days ago, but the money goes fast in Fiore, and Rishi never really had enough. She couldn't seem to stop doing quests lately either though, and it bothered her a bit, just a bit. Sometimes she just wanted to lay down and rest, but her mind told her to keep going, to keep doing jobs and to keep getting money. Now as good as money was, everyone needed a break, and that was something that Rishi's mind just wouldn't give her. There was just no chance that she would get to take a break, and even though she really wanted it, she just wouldn't get it.
Today she would be doing another quest for Lord Servas Phantasm today, and this time she wouldn't be searching in the dark for flowers. Her job was much more simple, and she had kind of liked it that way. She didn't have to do too much work and she would be getting paid for her little efforts that she really didn't even realize. She would get paid for the little chores that she would do, which she would do without thinking, and the money from those chores was keeping her alive, so who was she to complain? Money is money, and whatever job she was going to have to do to get it, she would do.
She had been walking to the outside gates of Oak, and she was getting ready to start her mission. The job was simple; make sure the beacons had been built to ensure the townspeople's' safety. This was a job that Rishi could get done in no time, and she was eager to get it done. She didn't want to spend any more time on this quest then she had to, so the flame mage and her companion would get this done as fast as possible so that she could get it over with. Getting the job done fast also meant she could have the rest of the day off, whether she use it to relax or go out and do something chill, she didn't care.
