Fairy Tail had truly proven itself useful for the young lord. Magnolia was so much more expensive than Iceberg, hell, the entire Fiore was. Fairy Tail gave him the opportunity to generate a steady income with the daily requests posted on the quest board. Although not many mages bothered to take quests for some reason. Vali couldn't tell if Fairy Tail was dying or if it was already dead but his goal right now was to stay and grow so that one day he may have actual influence. Fairy Tail could provide the safe haven that his people needed. Now that the elf was a member him and all his people were affiliated. The next step was to eventually talk to the guild master. Apparently she was never around but rumor had it that she had breasts that men and woman would die to see and have. If Vali was lucky, he'd breed her. For now though he would make his way over to the blacksmith who required some help with his business. According to the paper in his hand all the blacksmith needed was a mage to make sure that a potential business partner wasn't trying to scam him. The blacksmith's shop wasn't too far now, he could see it just up ahead even through the swarm of civilians- perks of being exceptionally tall. Finally the young lord arrived and entered the shop with a warm smile. At the moment it was empty with the exception of the smith himself. "Aye." he waved the paper in his hand as he approached. The blacksmith closed the gap between them and shook Vali's hand telling him the details of the quest. Val was to meet in the alleyway with a man who was supposedly bringing in ore for a cheap price. The Black smith had doubts that these potential business partners actually wanted to strike a deal so he needed Vali just in case. After discussing the details the blacksmith known as Barras gave Vali jewels for the small chance that this was in fact not a scam. After that the viking was on his way to the alley. Most of him wanted this to be a scam so he had a reason to beat some people up but if it wasn't then he couldn't complain about easy money. Since he arrived in Magnolia he had never seen a bad day. Just like yesterday the sun was out, the breezes were warm and fresh food filled the air. "I could get used to this." he whispered in Icebergic. Still people stared as he walked beyond them. Being seven feet tall had it's perks but it was also very very annoying sometimes. The ladies seemed to love that he was such a big hunky man though. When he was at the Bar with Tomoe they seemed to flock to him. Last night was his first time tasting a Fiorian woman and he had absolutely no complaints. If he wasn't busy today he might just have to visit that same bar again. 509 | 2,000 |

As the somewhat giant human roamed the streets he began to approach the alleyway where he was supposed to meet these business partners at. Only down the block did he see a caravan moving towards the same alley. There was no doubt in Val's mind that these were the people he was going to meet up with. It was broad daylight so killing was out of the question for the young viking- not that he really wanted to murder someone anyway. However, it had been a while since he last sacrificed a living creature to his gods. Nobody wanted to be abandoned by their god or gods so it was important for him to make sure they were still on his side. After all, he was supposedly favored by the gods of Satri for one reason or another. That alone was one of the many reasons why he feared nothing pertaining to himself; faith. Vali stopped in his tracks as he watched the Caravan enter the alley way. His approach would be slow, calm and collective. He didn't want to raise alarm. It would be best if these men didn't think that Vali thought they were here for anything other than business. Just before they entered the alleyway he counted a total of 2 men. One steering the horse and one beside the man steering the horse. Whether they were good fighters or not couldn't be determined based on how they look, especially since Vali couldn't really see them. Now all that was left was him to make his way over to them. Slowly he began to move. He patted his pockets down to make sure that the jewels he had been given didn't accidentally fall out. Weaponless and armorless, all he had at this point was his bare hands and his powers. Those things alone always proved resourceful for the young viking elf but that was back when he was in a place mostly filled with people who hadn't been able to use powers. Now he was in Fiore; a place with multiple guilds and people who had their own powers so it was probably best for him to always be on guard. This place was the land of the unexpected it seemed. Vali finally approached the alleyway, the back of the caravan facing him as the world grew darker with every step. Two men had been standing waiting for their client to approach them. One of the men looked older, less powerful then the man behind him but there was no doubt that he was the one who put together the business deal. He wore a white bandanna around his head. With a toothy grin he approached Vali who had a slick smirk on his face. The man began by introducing himself thus leading to the young fairy introducing himself. The two shook hands and began to talk business. in about a minute the two agreed on a reasonable price. The leader of the duo brought Vali to the caravan but then things took a much expected turn. 1,011/2,000 |

The other man in front of Vali took out a dagger from his waist once bringing him to the end of the caravan, putting the dagger directly at his neck. The other man drew his sword and watched Vali, smiling waiting for the large man to do something he'd think he would regret. "Don't move or I'll gut you like the pig you are, black freak." Vali sighed. The Fairy decided it was best for him not to spea- not because the man in front of him gave him a warning but because there really was no reason too. ll that was left here to do was beat these two men. Quickly the young viking elf shot his hand up, grabbing the man's wrist faster than he could move it before simply flinging him with all his strength into the wall beside him. The man yelped, crashing into the wall and falling flat onto his face. The other man moved the pointy end of his blade towards Vali's neck. "You really want to die over a few jewels?" Vali blankly stared the man in his eyes before leaping back to swiftly gain some distance. The standing man smirked. "I will end this quick." He spoke confidently. Some would deem it overconfidence considering he didn't truly know his enemy or what he was capable of but Vali knew that with the gods on his side that he wouldn't lose. How could he?! He was favored above all. With that being said he was ready to fight. The viking lord began by stomping his feet, conjuring a gray magic circle around his pelvis area which then sparked blue energy around his body before vanishing. The energy looked like lightning but in actually it was simply pure mana capable of boosting his speed. Upon seeing this the man's eyes widened. "A mage eh? Barras' is no fool I'll give em that." he said before springing forward. Vali closed his hand and sprinted forward as well. While he quickly began to close the fifteen meter gap between him and his enemy, he closed his hand summoning a throwing knife. Once Vali was close his enemy swung his blade diagonally, clashing with Vali's throwing knife. The Viking proceeded to swiftly step around the man's body using his elbow to connect a blow with his head. The man stumbled forward then turned and lunged toward Vali swinging his sword wildly. At first the Fairy was able to dodge the strikes but the man began to move quicker and at that point the elf knew he was in trouble. *SLICE* *SSST* *SLICE* Just like that his chest was bleeding out. The viking lord leapt back to gain some distance once more, glaring at the man nonchalantly as his chest dripped blood. His enemy smiled with confidence, bringing his sword closer towards himself. The bronze Fairy lunged forward just as the man swung his blade but this time catching it with his bare hands, throwing it behind him. 1,511 | 2,000 |

The fight was beginning to pick up. After throwing the sword, his lunge coming to an end, the viking moved his knee forward slamming it directly into his enemy's stomach causing him to cough blood. The Attack didn't end there. Vali then used his left hand to grab his opponent by the neck just before landing on his two feet. With not a moment to waste he slammed his opponent into the ground resulting in it cracking just a bit. This proved to be a bigger challenge than the Fairy Initially thought. His style of fighting was almost instinctual while this man was decent at acting. As soon as his back slammed onto the ground he swiftly knocked Val's hand from his neck. The quick movement resulted in the lord falling but his opponent was fast. Just before Val fell onto the man he used his free hand to connect a punch right to his jaw. Vali slid on the ground, rolling but picking maneuvering on both feet and one hand before he reached the wall. With his free hand the Bronze mage conjured a throwing knife once more, throwing it towards his opponent as he stood. The enemy was able to dodge in time but the same couldn't be said for the first man that was dealt with. As he finally began to stand, the throwing knife punctured his right breast. The older man screamed in pain. His partner turned to see if he was alright but Vali took that moment to lunge towards him once again reaching him in a matter of a second. His enemy turned in the nick of time as Vali went to throw a punch and blocked. The two exchanged blows. Both blocking each others hits and delivering some. It seemed like they were equally matched. To think that this was all over a few jewels was annoying. Vali picked it up a notch. With no more patience for this fight he began to force himself to move quicker, overwhelming his opponent before eventually sweeping him with a kick, placing his knee in his gut, putting his hand around his throat and continuously snuffing him. With each blow to the face, the man's face began to swell up and change color. Just as he was about to knock the man out something...strange happened. From above, the viking could see a shadowy figure on the roof of the building that made the setting a dead end alleyway. The shadowy figure had an ominous vibe. It was cloaked and all he could see was vibrant blue eyes staring back at him. That alone was enough to distract Vali and give his enemy the upper hand. The man kicked Vali in his rib making him fall off then proceeded to lunge towards his superior and leaping onto the caravan quickly climbing up the fire escape and moving from roof to roof. Vali stood, only glancing at his enemy before looking into the direction where he saw the shadowy figure. By the time his eyes landed where it once was, it was gone. "Hey! You there, what's going on!?" The elf turned to face two Rune Knights who approached him and followed protocol. Once Vali revealed to him that he was a mage of Fairy Tail they calmed and figured out the situation, dealing with the Caravan while he returned to Barras. Barras thanked him for his work and allowed him to keep the money that wasn't stolen. A little trouble for some decent coin, not bad. But who was that figure he saw? 2,000 | 2,000 - EXIT - |
