Ylva Poor Unfortunate Soul Hmm I might have packed too much food.. The words fell out in a small mumble as she started to take out the contents of her picnic basket. Today was a beautiful day for a picnic, not too hot since she was on the beach but still warm enough to be comfortable. This was a reward for her, from her for coming this far in such a new place and doing well adjusting thanks to a friend who had become quite special to her. Because she had done such a good job cleaning for one of her clients Ylva had earned a bonus in jewels, which was what was funding this little solo party. Dressed in a white sundress and some sandals, she looked radiant yet simple in her clothing choice and it was perfect for the beach weather. Her short blue locks flowed effortlessly in the breeze, which caused her to clip some of it back with a white hair clip. The young woman found herself a nice little spot on the beach where she had laid out a blanket and had some helpers set up a rather large umbrella to keep her shielded from the harsh sun. She wanted to have just something for herself but she soon realized that this was something that was meant to be shared. She didn't realize just how much food she really packed and was starting to get concerned that it would go to waste Oh dear.. Oh dear.. She was willingly to ask anyone to join her at this point but she was unsure of who would be able to understand her if she spoke in her mother tongue. Word Count: 0278/0000 |

Yassen Hey Need Help?! "Step right this way for delicious food straight from the earth. Cheap, Good and ensured to make you leave here with the most satisfied look on your face. Come on!," the voice rang from a stall that wasn't even his own. The young male had been roped into helping a group of people sell their food on the beach and with a little help from the fresh fruits and veggies he had with him, was now starting to give the store the oomph it needed. While he wasn't a cook or anything special like that, he knew what made the heart and body feel right at home. Yassen, the self-proclaimed good Samaritan continued to shout to the heavens attracting people of all sizes in. If it wasn't for his smooth voice it would definitely be because of his looks if that was even something that crossed his mind. Wearing a pair of black and yellow swimming trucks with a sleeveless opened hoodie, he continued to move from left to right shouting the same slogan until a line began to form along the beach. With his work done, he smiled to the proprietors and waved," That should be more than enough business for you all. Remember what I said about those fruits alright? Be firm yet gentle if you want to get the best results out of them," and with that he slowly began to walk off into the beach itself. He honestly didn't know why or how he had came to this spot, maybe fate or chance dubbed this the perfect place to cultivate his knowledge and get to know people. Maybe this was just what he needed after a long journey. One thing was for sure - he was enjoying himself. As it came to pass he walked by a small blue haired female who seemed to have a troubled look on her face. The problem with Yassen was that if he saw a look like that he was bound to go and help. Walking over to her slowly he waved to her and tilted his head a bit," Something the matter?" Word Count: 0579/0000 |

Ylva Poor Unfortunate Soul A thought crossed her mind to pack up and go home, she could always do this another time and be more prepared. That would have been the smart thing to do and she might have done that had a voice not pulled her from her own thoughts. Turning her attention towards it she was met with a man in swim shorts and a sleeveless hoodie. He was tall, well tall by her standards and made even more so by him standing over her. She didn't know what to say, she couldn't understand him, she wondered if he wanted something but she couldn't tell. I don't understand. I'm sorry. Her mother tongue came out like a song on the breeze. This man would either understand her or he wouldn't and if he didn't she would have to get creative. She prayed to all the gods that he could understand the icbergian, it would make her life easier. Word Count: 0156/0000 |

Yassen Hey Need Help?! "Hm? Whadja say?," He was perplexed by the accent coming from the woman until something had clicked in his mind. He had heard this accent only a few times during his travels with a band of mages, some of the best when it came to attitude toward those non magically inclined and probably the best in his opinion at taking a joke. For a moment he looked at the blue haired woman before crouching down and smiling to her only for a second. His progress with the dialect itself was strained at best, but he could have a normal conversation without tripping over his words every few sentences. Pointing to himself for a moment he would slowly begin to speak back to the lady,"Did you need any help? Sorry if my speaking is a little broke I've only been through enough of the language to know a few things here and there," He waited for a few moments to see if she would answer him before sitting his butt into the sand so that she didn't have to strain herself looking up to her. He wasn't expecting to make a new friend out on the beach, but in his own travels he has found that some people can be the best cure for being alone. Well in the case for being on a beach that is. He wasn't really talking to her because of her looks for the sole fact that looks were never truly important to him, but at this point he rambling mentally. Word Count: 0579/0000 |

Ylva Poor Unfortunate Soul Ylva was surprised. Being in a new place for a little less than a week was saying a lot for her when she ran into someone who could speak even a little of her first language. She was ecstatic, overjoyed, and even a little impressed about hearing this individual speak to her in a language she could easily understand. Her face went from worry to something akin to excitement. He had her undivided attention, her crystal blues focusing in on the dark haired man. Oh please don't apologies, your Icebergic is really good. I'm sorry, I'm just glad I've found another that speaks the language. It's really hard to communicate with others because I don't speak the native language. For her this was true, mostly because she wasn't going out of her way to meet new people and the people she had come in contact with either had been trying to hurt her or saved her from the people that were. It was weird that it seemed she was playing damsel in distress to everyone she met in on a positive note. Ah! Oh yes.. I mean no, I don't need any help thank you. It's just, I think I may have packed too much food to eat alone. Would you like some? I really do have far too much, I wouldn't want it to go to waste. This man may have been a blessing in disguise, something she was rarely getting nowadays. She really did hope he took her offer, else she would be packing up and going home for the day. Spread out on her blanket were different sandwiches, a fruit salad, a bottle of wine, some cookies, chips, and little cakes, and some water. She didn't know what she was thinking when she made all this but here she was now. Word Count: 0305/0000 |

Yassen Hey Need Help?! Language barriers were always the bane of any civilization often forcing people to either conform or learn. In this case Yassen was fortunate enough to know the language of the woman whom he had stopped in front of out of sheer luck and maybe fate. Traveling with people who were from many facets of life caused him to leanr many things that people back home wouldn't even dream of. On the off chance that she didn't speak fiorian this only mean that conversation would be done in her native tongue which made this even more interesting. A small smile formed on his face as he sat down near her and looked at the food that she had prepped, a small growl of his stomach permeating the air before he spoke," Well if you need help eating all of it me and my stomach are your guys. I haven't really had anything to eat all day so if you didn't mind me joining you let's eat?," the way he had sounded it came off more as happy to help than demanding, but he had hoped his intentions came off not as hostile or demanding. Ylva Poor Unfortunate Soul She was relieved and grateful that he took her up on the offer. Scooting over a little she started presenting each item to him while passing him a plate from her basket. I'm thankful, please help yourself to anything you'd like. I put together very simple things...Maybe a little too many simple things. Picking up one of the sandwiches she took a bite and enjoyed it's taste. ]i'M SORRY! My name is Ylva, what's yours? It was almost like lightening stuck that she realized that she invited a stranger and didn't even ask for a name, nor did she give her own. She hoped she didn't offend him by the lack of manners she failed to present. Hopefully he would overlook it and not call her out on her bad behavior. Ylva was better than that, she really was. Shifting in her spot she took another bite of her sandwich in order to fill the silence on her part, else she say something stupid. Word Count: 0164/0000 |
