Hiketsu

Silence is freedom || Solo

Joyans tend to appreciate peaceful lives more than other countries and that's exactly why Hiketsu couldn't bear the spend more time in the crowded town of Magnolia. He considered the large settlement to be exhausting and the constant noise barely allowed him to have any thoughts. It wasn't the first time he visited a town of such size, as a matter of fact there are plenty on Joyan territory too, but unlike Fiore, Joyan towns tend to be less deafening. And so he decided to go for a walk outside the borders of Magnolia.

The closest entrance, in his situation a much needed escape from what might as well be a megalopolis, was the South Gate, which lead to the wilderness outside. The distance between the gate and the place where Hiketsu slept at night wasn't that great, which meant he could walk there before the sun even reached it's usual position at noon. As he was walking towards the exit, he couldn't help but realise that the innkeeper wished him a good day when Hiketsu left, but the adventurer, lost in his own thoughts as always, ignored him in a rude manner. It wasn't that he wanted to ignore the innkeeper, but simply his personality and the tendency to space out.

Roughly 20 minutes later, Hiketsu was finally stepping out through the gate. As soon as his feet touched the grass outside, the tranquillity and the beauty of nature took over every single one of his senses. It felt like he was being reincarnated here and there and perhaps this "reincarnation" of sorts is what gave him enough energy to decide on spending the afternoon by training. He continued walking around the outskirts for half an hour, until he reached a forest. By the looks of it, it was what the locals called the "East Forest", characterized by its size, plants and animals, as well as the privacy it offered. It was what Hiketsu needed to cool his head down, clear his thoughts and train his body.
