The people were mostly foreign traders having traveled from far and wide to sell their goods here. Commerce was one of the major draws of the city and it showed. People of all styles walked the streets. From those who wore tailored suits to ones fresh of the early morning sailing venture.
It was a sight that pleased Kaz but he was in somewhat unfamiliar territory. He was used to leading people on missions. To take on jobs that came before him. But now he had to wander in and find his own path. To show what good works the guild could do if called upon. He never expected his path would take him to be somewhat of a politician.
He just watched the people move on by for a moment. Contemplating what all he would need to do. Things slowly came into perspective. Nothing really had to change at all. Lead by example. Do good work for people. That’s all it was about. He just had to get in there and do it.
Once a knight, always a knight. Even without the organization, he would always be a knight in his heart. At least that’s what he told his dear friend such a long time ago. A man walked by him with a heavy package thrown over his shoulder. Kaz full well intended to stand in prominence here. He walked over carefully and put a hand on the man’s heavy burden.
“Can I help you with that?” He asked in his typical polite manner.
