Steel entered the church again. He had come to pray and help the sick people when he suddenly saw Father Jerad standing around with a number of sick people. They had all contracted some sort of disease and Father Jerad seemed to have his hands full with helping them and it was in just that moment that Father Jerad saw Steel standing around looking at them. He smiled at Steel and started waddling over whilst nodding to the sick people around him and helping them as he passed. Steel decided he should meet the Father halfway and walked toward him with a firm but welcoming stride. They both reached each other halfway with arms stretched. They would grasp each other's right hands together and shake them as was the custom when greeting someone. They were both smiling at each other when the father spoke out. “Steel would you help me distribute this medicine to the sick and tired here?” Steel being the hero of this story looked at the father and nodded towards him.“Of course I can help you! I am a hero after all.” The Father then smiled again but this time reached into his medicine bag and gave Steel a few vials and some loose herbs.

Steel took the herbs and vials given to him and started walking around stopping by each person to ask if they had been given medicine or not and if they hadn’t been given any medicine he would give them some and then move on to the next person. After a while he had been giving out so much medicine that he actually had to go back to Father Jerad and ask for some more. Some of the patients were so ill that they needed help in cleaning their bodies and while Steel was a prideful youth he couldn’t really say no to helping people in dire need. And so he scrubbed and rubbed until they were clean. Of course he also dosed those people with some medicine if they needed it before moving on to the next person to scrub and rub and dose with some medicine. After doing this for a few hours Steel was starting to work up a sweat. It wasn’t that nice after all to simply walk around and bathe and medicinate people.

Finally he was done with most of them and when he was he walked over to one of the church walls and slumped over. In helping people he had tired himself out and removed his jacket so that he could at least attempt to air himself off. Then again he was in a sweaty, disease filled church so that might not have been the greatest idea. Father Jerad saw him slumped down against one of the walls and walked over to him. He gave Steel some medicine for himself and told him he had done a good job. Steel rested for a bit before mustering his strength and going home. When home he finally got out of his spandex and laid down in a hot bath. Drank his medicine and fell asleep. Whilst sleeping he had a fever dream of his parents that carried on into his earlier hero training and then finally it ended with him coming to Magnolia and finally starting to become an actual hero.
