These foul, corrupt individuals are thoroughly the pawns of the Dark Gods and have little will of their own. They live to fight, and hate the Empire and all the other civilised realms of the Known World. They lead their armies across the war-torn lands, throwing themselves into the teeth of their enemies, fighting until nothing and no one remain.
These individuals are as likely to slay their allies as their enemies as they respond to the capricious whims of their foul masters. It is from these few Chaos Champions that the Ruinous Powers select the next Everchosen who leads the armies of Chaos Undivided into battle against their enemies.

History:
Corruption might be the best way to describe why he is what he is, a genocidal war-mongerer. Constantly splitting one’s soul up for higher entities; taking special deals to even the playing fields, all of it would add a little bit of change, whether that be simply the influence of magic. No one can say for sure. Corruption can come in many different forms, but the unyielding fight spirit is perhaps what makes him so dangerous and unpredictable.
The rogue had played a role in numerous world affecting events as told by time.
- ARC 1: Strategist of Grimoire Heart’s Infantry —
Erebus united with a young Odin, Caius, and elderly Yumi to form a fighting cell for Crowley against the Magic Council, Erebus possessed no magic nor talent but harbored a fighting spirit that spearheaded him above other infantry soldiers to the lead of smaller parties and teams.
- ARC 2: Bad Deals End Lives —
Yumi’s god (Malum) banishes Erebus to an alternative timeline for rejecting the deal as the pressure continued— later on, events would play out that saw Erebus escape back into the mage world. As fate would have it, he soon meets a similar life to his prior one, the darkness always seemed to be the force he leaned on, and it pulled the adventurer towards his greatest desires. He experiences calamities and decides to aide in the nine heroes search, he encounters Odin Morningstar, a powerful Lich, a change of control between the Kingdom resulted in the Lich catching a brunt of bad publicity. Mages independent of the Magic Council would feel the worst of these conditions, especially those of dark races.
- Odin’s Mission:
Odin asks Ere’s help in executing Bishops across Earthland as the years go by, a task Ere has set to the side of his priorities until the time is right when he learned of his friend’s murder. He believes Morrigan would be key to reviving Odin, if that were ever possible, currently— he is not sure.
- ARC 3: The World’s Wanted Man —
Now in the present, a change of times saw Erebus grow into a talented rogue, he surfaces as a kindred guildless thief, but like times before, his reputation pervades him as he arouses fame outside of Oak Town (Zane takes this information to Odin) for his heists, and a group of mages enlist his help in stealing the Book of Dragons for Zagan, he makes friends with two mages from Fairy Tail seeking the same things. Ko Lesalt, who would go missing sooner rather than later, and Steele who also would go missing, his hammer later is seen on Knuckles Shi. Erebus assumes the worst for his friends, knowing the business they signed up for.
- ARC 4: Adjusting to the Nightmares —
Erebus has his mind broken, and is sent to the Abyss for 10y, upon snapping his fingers; the Demon Zagan pulls Erebus by the soul back into his body, and instructs him to follow Odin’s command and subordinate within Eternal Nightmare or be sent back to the Abyss again. Erebus complies.
- ARC 5: Approach Evil —
Erebus helps defend Eternal Nightmare against bounty hunters and rune knights with his guildmates, this ups the stakes for everyone involved in the criminal underworld as Odin ran it, and causes their guild to be world famous. Erebus begins training the next generation of dark mages starting with a daemon named Nana, he goes on to coach a few others as they need it, but is habitually and rather ritualistically hard to find due to his bounty.
- ARC 6: Living Dead Man —
Erebus is called back home to hear of Odin being slain by Alisa Vollan, he’s chosen to hold the banner up until better leaders can take the mantle. Upon disappearing, other champions would lead the guild in different times, up until everyone had gone a different path as it seemed.
- ARC 7: The Escaped Don of Akudama —
Erebus comes out of hiding after being talked into an opportunity that would give him power and luxury he had never known. Taking the offer, he banded with two mages (Zariya, and Knuckles Shi) as well as his disciple, Nana, into forming a syndicate which would allow them to work with the Underworld at the precipice of their jobs. Rather than work for the Magic Council, Erebus took this opportunity.
- ARC 8: Back From Whence He Came —
Off the coast, Erebus has submarines lined and ready to launch either an attack or a rescue, against joya’s desolate wasteland. He demands payment or he insist he will execute all hostage survivors. The Empryss pays him in part, and his bounty grows yet again, leading him to be arrested by Konstantin Sokolov whilst on an important retrieval mission. (It is still unknown what he retrieved and why he was inside a Holy place in the center of Bosco)
- ARC 9: Dark Ruler in the Prison Yard —
Erebus is currently in Hellsea Bastille, approaching the death penalty or a life sentence. Dark Horizons - Storyline - More Character Lore
