Venus Rosé Blade Dancer A sigh escaped her lips; it was another day in Dahlia. A day longer in this town of a dumpster takes another heap of her soul until God knows when she would become lifeless. Thankfully, Venus had picked up an assignment for herself that didn’t include exterminating werewolves or vampires, but instead contact with another human, which really hasn’t been that often since she moved to Dahlia and all she’d been doing was nothing except dealing with the night creatures. The young redhead folded the paper over its neat valleys for the last time before letting it rest in her left breast pocket, a silent sigh released from her chest once again as she forged forward, moving past others with a haste that would befit the situation. Shortly after, she’d find herself standing in front of the building where she was supposed to meet her client, Elaine Latimer, or so the letter stated. The hotel was rather difficult to find, more seclusive than she’d expected but fortunately, she found it on time for their meeting. The Siren rapped her knuckles against the door and in just a few seconds, she would be greeted by a young handmaiden at the door. ”I’m here to meet Elaine.” The handmaiden as if knowing what she was talking about, immediately nods in response and directs her inside the building. While she followed the lead, her eyes instinctively observed her surroundings, assuming that the entire hotel was owned by Elaine, or perhaps someone related to her, considering she even had attendants through the entire hotel. The servant would finally open the door to Elaine’s room where her client sat on her velvet chair, cross-legged whilst she flip another page of her book and she’d finally turn to look at their red wizard. ”Venus. I read your request on the quest board.” She began, once the handmaiden had closed the door behind her. ”Venus, is it? I’ve been waiting for you.” 325 | 500 |

Venus Rosé Blade Dancer Elaine gestured her to take a seat at one of the vacant couches and she’d turn to face forward in her direction, shutting the book that she was reading. ”The other day we had a business deal with our biggest competitor, but that was solely my husband’s decisions – I didn’t agree to it,” she paused, clasping her fingers together a devious smirk playing on her lips. ”I’ve planned out something that would nullify the partnership, which is using my step-son as a bait.” Venus arched her brows, sinking into her chair. This woman was cunning, she hadn’t expected that, especially not from a woman who looked so ethereal; as if she was an angel without bad deeds. Perhaps her appearance was just something to deceive people, the way she spoke definitely portrayed the witty side of hers. Upon her exit of her client’s room, a piece of parchment paper would be in her hand that included the details of Elaine’s step-son, Duncan, and the location of the address to find him. Departing the building, she would immediately set off to the designated location that was written on the paper and she willed herself to melt into the shadows to let herself be not easily detected while she follows Duncan. She’d wait for the appointed time for when Duncan left the building and would begin her task. Much to her surprise, he was a young child who was rather large for his age that made him look like a panda. Despite his size, the boy was slick on his feet but speed was her forte, so she wouldn’t struggle much chasing him. As a young boy, Duncan would do whatever a young boy would be expected to do, going to playgrounds, playing amongst other children and whatnot, and she would nod to herself noting down everything that he’d done for the day and report it back to Elaine. 644 | 500 { EXIT } |
