"Who knows? Maybe we'll catch something." She said to no one in particular, other than her Snow Vulpix who appeared to be ignoring her. While Winter chased butterflies and crickets, Rinni placed her butt comfortably in the grass, preparing her rod as she cast it out into the water.
She wasn't too worried about getting dirty. She was a tomboy, and aside from her armor, her attire consisted of very tomboyish fashion. No make-up, nor dresses or skirts could be found on the teen girl as she sat awaiting a bite. Instead, she wore denim shorts and sneakers, her vest covering a blue tank top. She yawned as she patiently awaited her first bite. Playing along the river edge was Winter, clumsily chasing frogs and insects as Rinni looked on with a cheerful smile.
She could never be bored with that playful kit by her side.
Rinni fished for several hours and all she managed to catch was seaweed and an old boot that someone lost. At least, she hoped someone lost it. If not, there was a body floating somewhere. The thought made her pale and she suddenly lost interest in fishing. Maybe she wasn't cut out for this. As paranoia and discomfort egged her on, she decided to give up on fishing. Gathering up her rod and tacklebox (which was all hooks and lines but no bait) she decided to return this to the man who loaned it to her.
"Well, nothing biting here. Let's leave, okay, Winter? I'm tired anyway."
The little fox yipped and trotted along behind her owner as they returned to town together.
