Rush Valley, it was an interesting concept in Esilka's opinion. Perhaps it was the idea that it was a city that focused on profit and business made Esilka think it was a nice place for her to explore. There was something about the idea of a place where merchants held their own form of power that fascinated Esilka. Perhaps it was because of her Dwarven origin, but Esilka liked those who knew how to do a good bargain, there was something about negotiations that inspired the young lass, aware of how a clever negotiator could easily turn the tables in their favor.

Not only that, but it felt more interesting to her in comparison to the concept of a kingdom where the royalty ruled without a need to prove themselves. It made Esilka hesitant about the leadership of this country.

But for now the young lady was simply walking along the markets of Rush Valley in search for something worthy of her interest.

So far she had seen a few interesting things. Some people were selling various items that were either rare or exotic in nature. However, it was not exactly anything that stirred the young dwarf her interest.

She wanted to hear about something special, something unique, the type of thing she wouldn't see anywhere else! Perhaps it was for that reason that Esilka felt as if something was missing. It annoyed her a little, it was like visiting a shop to buy something special but all of a sudden you didn't have anything interested to find inside the store.

However, it was just as she left one of the merchant stands that she overheard something interesting.

"Have you heard about that floating island nearby?" The question made Esilka tilt her head slightly to the side in confusion. A floating island? That seemed like a story out of a fairytale! It did sound somewhat fascinating to the dwarf, raising a hand to her cheek she pondered out loud.

"A floating island..." Esilka muttered softly, it did seem very interesting, and yet it was what would follow next that intrigued her more. "Did you hear how some people came from the island down to Rush Valley? I saw one of them at the markets earlier."

And of course those words were enough to inspire Esilka's interest. A person who lived on that floating island? Of course, they would have to be interesting! It was because of that there would soon be a hooded dwarf girl with a huge oversized bag darting from one person to another, inquiring about the floating island.

Still, with each person she ended up getting only more questions, all the way till she stopped in front of a woman and inquired with a hint of childish excitement in her voice.

"Do you know anything about the floating island everyone is talking about miss? Is it true that there is a lot of treasure on that island?"

Although she seemed relatively harmless, on the side of her bag one could easily notice the mystical axe she carried with her and underneath her hood, there was the special helmet she carried with her, although she was ensuring its power was sealed currently...

Despite her recent endeavors having gone well Esperia still felt a need to grow more used to the power she had obtained. Perhaps it was through the World's Eyes and the knowledge that it provided to her, that Esperia started to grow increasingly more interested in obtaining knowledge. There was something about knowledge that felt similar to how someone might feel upon reading a novel that was of their interest. A simple but understandable description if one started to understand that each person Esperia observed brought with them an entire story of their own.

Certainly, sometimes those stories might had been a bit lackluster to her liking, but often they were also quite extraordinary, and that led to Esperia to desire to talk to them and discover more about the perspective of the one who experienced those events. Perhaps it was for that reason she had grown fond of socializing in her own way. It was at the time she had been wandering along the markets of Rush Valley that a sudden childish voice called out to her, a light tug along the sleeve of her arm making Esperia look downward as she hummed softly. "A child-" Yet as she looked at the person's face Esperia's lips curved up into a knowing smile. "It seems I was mistaken~ A young dwarf with, I presume traces of a Demi in your bloodline? Fascinating~ It's not often we see one of your kin."

Yet the girl's excited request made Esperia tilt her head slightly to the side in confusion. "Floating island? Ah~ You mean 'that' island~ Yes, there is plenty of treasure to be found there, although it is all claimed already, and the master of the island does not take kindly to thievery~" Esperia chimed in amusement at the stranger's inquiry.
