Not so long after, Masami and Kurisa had once again received a letter about their quest's series, the path of the dragon, and Masami automatically dressed up for the part, just like in the old days. They were finally going to the gambling den to do some cool spy assassination stuff, like a westernized yakuza movie; his outfit made him lean more on the male side despite being quite androgynous, some feathers on the side. Masami doesn't even remember buying this sort of expensive clothing, but guess it's there now. At least, the instructions were overly clear and straightforward this time: slip poison into the boss' tea. Masami has never poisoned someone, and for some reason, he trusted Kurisa more on this part. "I hope nothing bad happens." joked Masami, as he knew that they would be going to the Crimson Quarters for this part, and Masami has never completely ventured there. After all, he was underage, and it would be a big deal if his own mother found him venturing on that sort of place. Even his roleplayer didn't want him to casual thread in that sub-forum, too much of a cinnamon roll to be tainted just like that. 200/1275 「-15% WC reduction via Guild Perk.」 北正美 |

It seemed like it was going to be an easy job for her since most people around that area feared her. It could be because of rank or maybe it was the fact that she did not fear them. A small chuckle escaped her lips as she thought of the place, but then remembered that Masami was with her. "Don't worry, I will make sure nothing happens to you.~" She spoke motherly and gave him a hug. This was different, new to her even as she has not hugged anyone seriously since Noel. Since Masami was her son, it felt more natural to her.

When she embraced him, Masami just had to embrace her back. "Mhm, sure you will." he responded with gentleness before letting go, opening the door for Kurisa, and then he would follow her like always. "Let's go, we wouldn't want to be late!" the gambling den would even host some sort of party or gathering, and Masami will have to blend in along with Kurisa, so they wouldn't want to be late. After all, they have the opportunity to enjoy the party like the rest of the visitors, and it would be grand unlike the previous low-quality hosts. So much for poisoning someone's tea. In a few moments, Masami would be in Crimson Quarters with his mother, and they will witness quite a fancy venue on where the gambles will be held. The Black Dragons' familiar faces were there, glaring at Masami and Kurisa's presence. They know well that they won't mess with the mother and son compared to before, "Looks like they've learned their lesson." said Masami, laughing to himself a little. While they walked towards the chamber, getting deeper into the building, Masami stayed closer to Kurisa. Then, suddenly a stream of worry stuck him, so he locked his arm unto Kurisa's. "If you're feeling unwell, please tell me." 411/1275 「-15% WC reduction via Guild Perk.」 北正美 |

Unless they're innocent.
She was the one judging their fate and she enjoyed it a little too much inside. Arisa just wanted to live a happy life with happy people around, a little unrealistic when you think about it. Kuri did not care though as she just wanted to live till it was time to die and resurrect again. "I will be alright.~ Thank you though." She motherly spoke in a softer tone. she patted her son on the head and kept on walking towards the Casino. Her eyes were lit up soon enough as they were approaching the place. It was a rather beautiful establishment, but inside was 'dark', just like most people.

Immediately after Kurisa had finished her statement, Masami spotted a masked staff holding a tea set in a tray. He had let go of Kurisa's hand to halt this staff from moving, and then his face completely changed into a very genuine and sweet expression, whatever adjective defined his malicious intent. "Please let us deliver this tea to the boss instead." he uttered, smiling at the staff, who questioned his intentions but eventually bowed after giving him the tea set. He looked at Kurisa, energetically smiling at her like a kid he was for being successful in a first mission, and then asking her to slip the mentioned drug in without directly saying it. Afterwards, Masami and Kurisa would find their way to the boss' room and offer the drugged tea, in which even Masami is unsure of what it exactly does, or how it will effect the person who drank it. Will they intoxicate and die? Or will they just stay immobile until they are beaten up by another gang? As Masami and Kurisa would get closer in the location of the boss' room, Yomu, a familiar face, has stopped the two by stepping in their way. "What is that, hmmm?" he lowered himself down to Masami, and then to the tea set, definitely doubting the two's intentions. 630/1275 「-15% WC reduction via Guild Perk.」 北正美 |

Why did anyone come here with their own riches and problems when this place had its' own problems? Her eyes cornered to look at Masami and then the two goons who were close to the way they needed to go. He seemed suspicious of her son with the tea. If they caught him with the tea he would end up getting hurt right away. She acted perfectly, a bright flirtatious smile while grabbing onto the tea herself. Her other hand slowly placed itself against her chest, "Oh boys, you don't want me to be late do you? He's waiting for me - requested for his drink and mistress that came all the way from Seven." She put on her accent and licked her lips. Her brown and blue eyes fluttered.
The ones that were suspicious became flustered, "We-well, no, I suppose not. I-I'm sorry." He gulped and let them through. The guy was still gazing so she put a little sway in her hips as she walked towards the door. Men were becoming nothing but toys to her now. Slowly, each rejection, each harmful act they do towards her is just making her hate them more... her son was different though.

"Looks like my mother is a good actress, too." said Masami when he looked over at Kurisa, but Yomu was still right in front of them. The big guy took the tea set and went off, saying: "I'll be the one bringing this to the boss." and then completely left the other two, right at their current spot. Masami shrugged at the scenario, glad that they didn't have to make a ruckus in such a trashy place – from afar, he saw Yomu enter a room in the corridor, then slamming the door closed. He looked at Kurisa in confusion afterwards, not knowing what to do, since they were in a gambling den and even if Masami knew a gamble or two, there was no way he can tell Kurisa how and why he learned this. He shrugged again, "Looks like the job is done?" then once again, he locked his arm over Kurisa's and walked, at least out of this corridor. The atmosphere outside would start smelling like low-quality wine, those that scented like citrus and quite sour to the smell. It was almost like beer, but still quite grape-y if someone like Masami would describe it. Shortly after, a scream from a far was heard, and everyone contributed to the quietness of the atmosphere by diverting their attention towards where the sound came from, including Masami; when he looked behind them, he saw the same big guy Yomu running out. He pointed towards Masami and Kurisa, "It was you two! These fellas poisoned the boss!" As much as Masami didn't like it, he was forced to attract attention, and he meant all of the attention, and the same went with Kurisa. 912/1275 「-15% WC reduction via Guild Perk.」 北正美 |

It was her fault.
Just like it was Ana's fault that her husband was killed in his bed when she has been in the dungeon the whole entire time. This was just a repeat of certain things. By the time her train of thought was done she heard the doors open with him doing exactly as she foretold. "Oh shut up already. You want to attract attention?" She snarled and spoke in a cold tsundere tone. She formed a bubble that floated above them 6 meters upward. The bubble exploded 4meters each way causing a loud boom. They all looked this way and her eyes cocked while looking at Masami. "Any ideas, dear?" She wondered as she gave off a motherly smile towards him. She was just here to be the cause of destruction and help him get stronger. He shall lead the way.

When he was asked by Kurisa regarding what to do next, Masami found it reasonable to explain how and why they should simply break the place down, but previously they have already burnt a whole structure down, and Masami's thrifty nature didn't want to think about the repair money that they will be using, even if Masami isn't the one doing the spending. "We don't need to waste time on lousy folks, mother." Masami replied, turning away and getting ready for the run. As long as they run away safely, reporting back to the Weirdlock Office (or whatever that was called) and earning their reward for a job well done. When Yomu screamed, the rest of their fellows automatically turned their eyes on both Kurisa and Masami, especially after Kurisa's move with the bubble and the explosion. They were getting chased now, but Masami blew fire through his pinky finger, pushing away few of the men before grabbing unto Kurisa's wrist and then running away. Apparently, he also thought that it would be a bad choice to waste mana on people who simply need to scram out; even if he was aware that both he and Kurisa could take all the men out at once, they will know how Masami moves, and surely they will use that information against them. 1132/1275 「-15% WC reduction via Guild Perk.」 北正美 |

Masami shot fireballs like one would in dungeon and dragons as she would in that game. It was the best part without caring who got caught. It destroyed the enemies so who cares, right? She gave her son a smile as this made her incredibly happy. Nothing could ruin this moment and she will have her son with her forever, right? If anyone or thing came between the relationship her and her son had then who knows what will happen. Perhaps, the world will be doomed and the people within it. She could not afford to lose anymore precious people anymore. Her heart can't handle it anymore and so once it happens.
People will know and Ana will be reborn within her, complete with an addition of her power and personality, her love for chaos and destruction. This was no joke, but for now, as no one knew what she was capable of, Kurisa was Kuri and Arisa who just wanted to help and save people while having her loving family that will someday be complete.
While thinking all this she kept on going, never stopping as they both ran.

Eventually, the duo found their way outside of the gambling den without destroying any sort of structure. Immediately upon their leave, a black vehicle called out Masami and Kurisa's name, telling them to ride in. Although Masami was doubtful of this at first, he was convinced that it will lead them back to the Weirdlock Office, as it must be one of their staff members or assistants of the sort. The person who assisted the driver was kind enough to open the car door for Kurisa first, and then Masami, and then he would sit in the front seat, beside the driver, upon sending the two safely inside. The car would then immediately drive on the way to the Weirdlock Office at a fast rate, leaving the building (along with their fellow lousy gang members) behind. Masami watched the building slowly drift away into nothingness due to the distance they are creating, and then sighed when he saw no more gang members chasing them. He would be beside Kurisa after sitting properly, and then he would lean his head over Kurisa's shoulder, attempting to relax and fall asleep if possible. Apparently, even if he dressed up for such an event, Masami ended up not enjoying that night. 1339/1275 「-15% WC reduction via Guild Perk.」 北正美 |

The time she had left will have to make due. Even if it was short or long, she wanted to make him happy. Perhaps the next mission will be better. The car went away from the enemies as they got closer to where they needed to go. Her hands patted her son's head as she played with his hair soothingly. Softly, she hummed a tune that haunted her for years, but it was the only thing that stayed with her. Once they got home or to the office, they were paid. What came up next? She will not know till a little bit later or sooner than she thought.
