He looked around for a bit, and couldn't seem to find the detective in question. Which was weird, because he was the one who set up this meeting. Yet he was nowhere to be found. He checked the letter once more, this was the right place. He saw no harm in going inside the building. As he walked into the building, he saw a room with the mans name on it. He promptly walked in. Only to find himself in the presence of a massive amount of books. A lot of dust, and general chaos. Which he thought would be uncommon for someone who supposed to be well known and respected.
As he kept looking around he noticed a bit of snoring due to his dragon senses. He looked behind a large stack of books the find the client asleep. He decided that if his sleep got to be interrupted so did his. He knocked several books off the desk onto the floor where the man was sleeping. Causing him to wake up in a panic. Which was more than a little humorous. "What the hell." The client exclaimed. "Rise and shine dickhead." Manzo said in an annoyed tone of voice. Good lord, you'd think the Ace of Blue Pegasus would get more respect than this.
"Are you the guy I hired." Manzo nodded. "Yeah I am, I'm here, what do you need of me." Manzo asked. Hopefully it was something worth his time. Though that has yet to be seen. The man picked himself up from the floor and stuck his hand out to shake Manzo's. He returned the shake. "Well, what I need you to do is help me clean up my office." Manzo let out an audible sigh. It was indeed busy work. He had hoped for something far more exciting than what this was. Sadly, not the case.
Manzo began to pick up books and papers, filing them away. Placing them on shelves, doing general dusting. The fact that an Ace was doing this work was the most degrading moment of his life. Well not as degrading the things Alisa used to make him do when they were teenagers. The antics he was subjected to back then. It was, how should I say, terrible. But now that the cleaning was over he headed back over to the client and did a spot check with him watching. Manzo was promptly paid for his services, leaving quite promptly afterwards.
