Tiên sat there staring at a patch of grassy area at the back of the guild hall, he hadn’t been apart of the Pegasus team for long, actually he was still kind of new to the guild, but they were told that they could add to the beauty of their old guild hall. He didn’t want to change much, but others might have different opinions, Tiên on the other hand, just thought that they could add to the already mesmerising garden that the hall owned. Ruffling his hair, as he hummed, stretching out his legs, sitting on the bench trying to figure out how to do this, and a quick way. Tiên just wanted to plant some specific flowers that would make him feel just a little more at home, when he needs to get away from reality, whilst at the guild after returning from his travels in the future.

“Hmm… Maybe over there… or near the trees…” Slouching, he needed help, this wasn’t his forte, as much as he loved woodlands and flora, actually doing gardening was not a skill he had high points in, no matter how much his mother tried to teach him. Another thing was that, maybe he could meet a few other members of the guild through this, although he wasn’t counting on that very much, Suki was one person who might possibly help out, as she had mentioned that she was fond of flowers, and he did get along with Alisa, but then they were the only two he had properly met in the guild, so that shows how much social interaction he jumped in on when it came to the members. Staring at the bracelet on his wrist, Tiên shook his head and groaned albeit childishly, just to murmur to himself standing up and dusting off his clothes. “Ling-ge would be useful right now…”

Deciding to wonder around the two areas of where he had an idea of placing the pond wanted to create for the guild and himself, as he glanced around at the flowers of many different specimens bringing some colour to the garden. Sapphire blues glanced, closing slightly to get a feel of the section, the gentle breeze brushing through the freed dark strands of hair that brushed over his jade green changshan, just to move on to the more woodland like section. Maybe this was going to be better, there was shade to sit and have small picnics or just read a book, and a nice pond would be perfect. “Yeah. Here is the best… Now to maybe find some help…” Glancing around once more, with a firm nod of approval, Tiên had picked his spot. It was perfect, because there would still be sunlight, and the breeze coming from the sea, would spread the fragrance of the flowers that were around and that would soon be planted. Now the difficult part, finding the help he needed to make the pond and plant the seeds that were safely in his satchel that sat on the bench with his trust sword that he always carried just in case of emergencies.

Guild renovations, was it. For once, he didn't have to strain himself too hard, no. He had others to do that for him!

"Alright, over here!"
"Yes boss!"

Dressed with a locally-bought white tank top for pure comfort, uncharacteristically of him; donning a yellow "SAFETY FIRST" helmet that, who knows where he even got that from; he led the loudly rumbling machines while slowly pacing backwards, giving directions as their heavy wheels stampeded over the garden grounds. Operated by a few of his personal assistants, three such gargantuan construction vehicles and a single heavy cart pulled by two giant boars soon entered the garden grounds, disturbing the natural silence and the sea's breeze with their nigh-unbearably loud engine noises. Carrying with them all sorts of materials; bricks, tools, wood and steel beams. Paint and concrete mixtures. All for his idea for renovations.

With the guild's sudden influx of members, naturally jobs came in a lot more often. Reputation garnered growth, and this growth warranted funds. Sponsors, customers, you name it; Blue Pegasus has been gifted with this new arrangement and with it came the perks of what seemed to be unlimited budget in the way of rebuilding, yet not a single Jewel was to be spent on hiring extra hands to work. This was something the members themselves had the opportunity to set up, which boy, could that get chaotic. Nevertheless, with his relatively high authority in the guild (that is having sixteen teens literally under his command), Jan Ren stepped up to the challenge. Thinking to himself, if they had more of a budget, that meant they could expand their territory further. It might spend a bit more than Master had intended, but if it was for more members' living space then all was good.

And of course, this Sinese had decided to take this project.

"Good!" He cheerily declared, clapping his hands together once as he stared at the assortment of societal wonders rented for this occasion. The sixteen had gathered quickly, forming half a circle near the raven-haired as his emerald eyes looked each of them in the eye following their grouping. "Now that we're here, you guys go take a quick break. Regroup here again in half an hour!" He ordered, as the band of masked punks raised a fist in agreement. ...Except for like, two; who'd side-eyed something else in the gardens.

"Yo, Boss?" One called out.
"Hm?"
"There's someone else here, y'know."

Sharply turning to look, that'd be when Jan Ren finally spotted the others in the garden. One ought to think his sense of smell would aid in tracking others in his vicinity, though perhaps such wasn't present in pure convenience. "...Oh." Momentarily dumbfounded, the Sinese hastened to dismiss the bunch to their own affairs as he turned towards this person. Approaching with his signature, well-practiced smile.

"I don't believe I've seen you here before." He began; "Pardon my intrusion, please. We'll begin working shortly though. Are you new here?"

Suki has heard that someone was doing some flowers. She was excited due to the fact that she loved flowers. Her talk with Tien made her hope he was there too. Something about him made her feel obviously weird, but not obvious to others. She had a small red cart that she dragged along as it was filled with different flowers. They were all beautiful to her and hoped that the person will like them. She wore the usual outfit of her pink yukata with black wooden sandals. Her long beautiful hair was kept down with a pink ribbon tied on the side. For once she did not wear her bamboo as after her talk to Jan, it made her feel better.

Will he be here too?!

"Back of the guild, right?" she started to breathe heavier as she pulled the cart towards her faster while power walking. She did not want to make them wait for her. As soon as she got there she hoped in surprise and happiness. "Nii-san!~" She yelled out with a wave while one hand gripped onto the red cart's handlebar. Her eyes shifted over and saw Tien as well. A part of her felt fear as she hasn't shown him her vampire long fangs. Will he think of her as a demon? Her eyes gazed downward, feeling a bit of anxiety. Her lips closed tightly with them motioning inward. She had a hard time moving as her body was frozen.

Tiên stood there when the sudden rise in noise, turning towards the ruckus, the sapphire gaze landed on the male that was leading machinery all over the flowers scattered around the garden, and watching all this happen, pained Tiên on the inside. Flora meant a lot to him, and watching the different and possible rare breeds of flowers be crushed gradually upset the young warrior. It wasn’t until he had noticed two of the many young males gathered around, just staring at him that Tiên began to gradually feel uncomfortable. He was used to being stared at but usually that was because of his looks and how he presented himself, as of this moment Tiên in general had his guard down, his sword was not within his reach and he was being stared at for unknown reasons by two people. Glancing away and around the area he was standing at, Tiên fiddled with the bracelet on his wrist before being spoken to by the male that was directing the machinery to where it was currently at rest.

“Uh… Mhm.” Nodding once, turning to face the other, Tiên blinked owlishly at the almost replica of himself. “Who?” Clearing his throat, Tiên probably realised that he needed to speak in Fiorian, as he didn’t know what language this man spoke, whether it was Sinese, Joyan or Fiorian that he used. This was freaky for him, because he had never met anyone that had physical similarities to himself, and to be in the same guild as the guy was probably a little more confusing. “Work… on what? You killed the flowers enough don’t you think?” It was muttered, as he set a saddened forlorn glance towards the squashed, ripped and grounded flora. Maybe it was a little rude, how it came out, but Tiên was hurt from the flowers being hurt, and honestly if he had his sword, this man would have received a few cuts in return for the now dead flowers. Sighing softly to himself, Tiên just glanced back towards the trees, he really did want his little pond to go here, but whether there would still be this place, after the work had commenced was a mystery to him.

Though when a familiar light hearted voice caught his ear, Tiên glanced behind him seeing a familiar, but also slightly unfamiliar face, making her way over to them. “Suki?” Tilting his gaze, a soft smile laced his lips at the girl, they were good friends, well Tiên hoped they were, and stepping into action, Tiên bowed his head slightly at the guy, before turning towards Suki’s general direction. “Would you like help, Suki?” He had noticed how she had called the stranger, her older brother and it was albeit confusing because they really didn’t look anything alike. Gradually making his way over to Suki, he also set a hand on to the handle of the cart, but paused when he realised that the younger girl stopped completely, and looked away from him shyly, his sapphire eyes gazing at the girls appearance, and picked up on the change in details, the longer canines were the most obvious, but she still looked pretty, and her eyes still looked like ruby gems. “I’ll come help okay?”

JAN REN

A perplexed expression took over as the young man raised his eyebrows in response. "Hm? Killed the flowers...?" He asked. In truth, Jan Ren's ignorance was most powerful in this scenario; having attributed in fact, no importance to the flower garden present before he'd arrived. Though what caused his confusion wasn't just the other man's response, but also his appearance. This man was, oddly enough, a near-perfectly made clone of the Sinese in question. The similarities were extreme; so much so that aside from their approaches, clothes and expressions, one could barely tell the difference! What a surprise.

Regardless... "Ahh..." Looking away from the rude lookalike, Jan Ren looked closely as much as his eyes allowed to spot the small details. Noticing the few squashed stems and petals laid by the gigantic wheels of the machinery he led in. That said, how was he supposed to reel those babies into the backyard without taking apart a few things? The Blue Pegasus garden was somewhat pleasant, sure; but he was familiar with a certain Elven girl that could raise those from the dead, literally, in no time. Even though he had his confidence placed in said Elf, it'd dawned on him how for granted he'd taken the flowers. Through it all however, Jan Ren still had to think momentarily about the flowers' purpose, besides being just pretty. Nevertheless, be that as it may.

Another one entered the scene; passing by the numerous punks, with her all-too-familiar callout. "Suki!" Beaming similarly, the Sinese greeted the Younger Sister with a hasty bow as he paced towards her; noticing the obvious freeze, and responding by standing directly between the two to block the doppleganger's view; then placing his palm upon her head in affection. "What did you bring there?" He asked, peering into the red cart she managed to pull here.

While the other had turned to Suki with Joyan words, there was little response from Jan Ren on the matter. Even despite his assumed single word earlier, in a different language. Jan Ren couldn't speak Joyan, but acknowledged that the odd copy was multilingual at the very least. Whether he was talking in Joyan out of comfort, to match Suki's or to hide his words from Jan Ren's comprehension, he couldn't tell -- nor did he attribute much importance to. Fact was, it was too early to make decisions and assumptions; he may look Sinese, he may be multilingual as well. But in his six months in Fiore, the young Sinese hadn't met even a single person that could speak Sinese. As such... It's better to write it off as if he hadn't in fact ignored the fact, but rather lost hope on its possible meaning. Alas.

Her small hands gripped onto the handle tightly as she felt nervous and weird sensation at the sight of Tien. Thankfully, it was settled when Jan seemed to notice her call-out. Her lips kept closed to ensure that no one saw her teeth since Tien has not seen her demonic presence. What will he think? He seemed like a kind soul and one that should not see her in such a manner. Her eyebrows furrowed as Jan came up wondering what she brought. "Ff-flowers! I brought flowers." She cheered and hopped youthfully. She let go of the cart and pointed out all the flowers to Jan while calling out what they were called and everything.

Oh how much she loved them. "OH! I brought Spheal too. I didn't want him to feel alone and Mr.Fluffemz is taking a nap a few minutes away from here.~" She went to the back of the cart and picked up her large seal looking, creature. It was larger than her head to be non-exact in size. "Now then. I have some Dahlias, Lilacs, Hydrangeas, Spikenards, and lastly some Chrysanthemums." She made a cute cat face as she named every type of flower perfectly. Each one reminded her of someone or something. hydrangeas and spikenards reminded her of the guild's color(s). The rest, those were secret for only her to really know. Surely, Tien would have heard her explain every flower. "I would like to help if th-that's okay." She lowly spoke and hid her mouth with her long beautiful hair. Her pink gems gazed away and kicked her feet against the ground.

"Nii-san, I feel weird, anxious a little as well. Not sure why." She quietly spoke to Jan. Her head tilted to look past him and looked at Tien who was looking their way. She quickly stood up straight and turned pink. "Do you think he'll think I look... dangerous or anything." She mumbled. "I never told him nor showed him before." Her eyes looked as if they were about to water. She really cared how Tien will look at her, but not sure why. He was not like a brother to her like Jan and some others were. She just didn't know what it was.

Hearing the small acknowledgment from the almost twin, if Tiên had to give it a name, there was probably another name, but right now it just was not coming to the forefront of his mind, a tiny frown lacing his lips, because it seemed that this mage didn’t care much, probably? At least that is how Tiên felt, going by his current first impressions. Shrugging, he had paused when he did reach Suki only he wanted to talk to her more, but Tiên just stepped away slightly when the other male had slotted himself between them. Again it had Tiên blinking owlishly at this new face, only for his sapphire eyes to glance towards the cart full of flowers, slipping his hands into his pockets as he stepped around to the side of the cart looking over them all.

He knew each kind in the cart, and it made him smile, when Suki chimed about each one, announcing their names to this man. “Suki-chan is very knowledgeable…” Glancing at the girl, sending her a soft smile, ”and picked beautiful flowers as well.” Tiên felt his ears redden a little at those words when he remembered their talk at the festival from their first meeting. He still thought she was just as beautiful as any flower he knew, and yet Tiên just did not know how to tell her this, so he just fell quiet whilst removing his hands from his pockets once more, crouching down next to the flowers, his fingers softly stroking the petals of the chrysanthemums and hydrangea. Silently imagining how all the flowers would look when they all bloomed, the different colours complementing the white petals of the lotus pond, along with the camellias, dragon narcissus and the helleborus that he had brought along himself. Tiên nodded to himself, mumbling in his home tongue on blending his idea with Suki’s. ”These would look perfect near the pond…” Scratching his nose nervously as he thought of what Suki’s flowers would look like scattered nicely around the little pond area he wanted to make in the garden.

When they began to whisper to each other, Tiên glanced up at them a little confused, furrowing his brows, because he didn’t know what they were conversing about between them, though he did have a feeling it was to do with him. Standing up Tiên sighed and lowered his gaze not knowing whether to speak up or not, yet he did keep glancing at them as Suki really seemed nervous about something, and he did not want her to be nervous at all, at least not around him that is. He liked Suki, and even though he first met her at the festival in Hosenka, he hoped that they would be less awkward, although he wasn’t really expecting to meet this guy, and Suki in the gardens of the guild, but fate had her own tricks. “Uhh… I…” Pausing, he rethought about what he wanted to say, scratching his head. “I would like… For you to help… Suki-chan…” Glancing at her over the almost duplicated other shoulder, messing with his bracelet. “If it's… okay, with you?” Again, sparing a glance at the man, who Tiên still wasn’t sure to feel about. ”Can you not destroy that area of trees?” Gesturing to where himself and this man was standing before Suki showed up, and then glanced back towards the two, scratching his nose.

JAN REN

As it turns out, no giant tiger would be accompanying today. In a way, that was better off. "Heeeh... Even Spheal is here." He repeated in a rather child-like way, smiling at the girl calmly. As she listed off the different flower names she brought, the Sinese took a short moment to glance into her cart's contents to attempt assigning the mentioned names to the different assortment of flowers presented. Truthfully he wasn't too well-versed in plantation and flowers, thus most attempts in his head ended up wrong. Regardless -- "That's a lot of flowers you've brought!" He commented; "Where did you get all these from Suki?" It was such a shame though. He'd have to break her heart again if she heard there wasn't a garden planned here...

Guess there were some renovations he needed to take into account in the project plan.

At Suki's sudden reddening, Jan Ren's expression took a curious turn as he turned around to the Joyan-speaking man. Who had, displayed a similar reaction. If he'd heard that right-- No, no. Still jumping to conclusions; in 6 months in this country, not a single person spoke the language. Probably wish-fulfillment in his own hearing. Turning back to the young girl once more Jan Ren took a solid assumption of the ongoing dynamic. ...Was he right in such guess though? He grinned, patting her head once; "That's okay Suki." Jan Ren affirmed, removing his hand as he winked, placing a finger by his chin (see my current avatar tbh); "I believe he thinks you look perfectly beautiful as is." He topped off, adding his own roundabout compliment in; ears perking some as he heard the third party begin to direct his speech, obviously, at him; opting for a different language again in-between his breaks.

... He turned to him abruptly, staring for a moment. ...

Wait, hold on. "Aaah!!" He suddenly yelled, eyes widened as he jabbed a finger, pointing to the duplicate in response; "Sinese!!" He declared; "You can speak Sinese!!" While most wouldn't understand, this was a huge deal for Jan Ren. It made sense in context, seeing how these two were ridiculously similar in appearance alone; though it would also mark the first time, the young man had heard anyone but him speak the language. Face lit up, he hurried to grab at the other's hands -- clasping them together in obvious excitement as he offered the most cheerful of smiles -- one very rarely offered to anyone these days. "Finally!! Someone else from Sin!!" He assumed, even adding a light laugh at his announced realization. "I was convinced I'd be the only odd one in this country for so long!"

This changed things. He couldn't comprehend what he said in Joyan, blissfully unaware mostly in thanks to the duplicate's constant change in chosen language. However, if there were plans to have him leave, such were now discarded. He couldn't understand his words, but still singled out the name of his Younger Sister. "Alright, alright." He continued, calming down as he took two steps away from the two; back facing the duo before turning to face both again. "Unfortunately, our plans don't align. To a T, anyway. We are going to demolish this area entirely to build it anew. However once we're done, we can plant all the flowers Suki wants right away!" He declared, plans changed on the go. A rather irresponsible decision for a project manager, though with bias on both ends in the picture, could you really blame him? Because I can. Easily. "We'll make this the renewed Blue Pegasus Little Garden!" He even named it, expression brimming with pride and glee. "What do you think?"

"No Quotes Today."

Truly Suki listened to mainly Tien and Jan speak to each other more than they towards her. Her lips made a pouting motion and hands gripped onto the handle even tighter as she was holding her frustrations. Jan seemed to not want to do what she thought they were going to do, but Tien did not mind. He seemed to want her to help him out in which she noticed a small studder within his words. Her eyes shifted to Jan and sighed softly. "Nii-san~ It's perfect already. That body of water will do fine. The flowers should go there and maybe we could add a bench or something. Perhaps one made of beautiful stone?~" she purred and giggled.

She sounded perky, happy even as she ignored herself mentally when it came to the fact that she was not wearing her bamboo. Maybe it was because Tien was ignoring it too. Her pink large eyes shifted towards Tien. "Tien-san~ I brought your gift with me! I wear it everywhere I go. Thank you again." She gave a large smile and giggle while lifting the pendant out of her top. "We should start now.~" she dragged the cart past both of them and went towards the pond-like body of water. She thought about what Jan said and so she tried to not panic anymore. At least for now.

Not paying attention to their conversation, it seemed private, and Tiên was not a person to nose his way into other people's private conversations. When the other Sinese turned to him in shock, Tiên was confused only to flinch away a little at the change of demeanor of the man. A slow nod came when he answered the accusation of being a man born in Sin. He was born there after all, and lived there until he was almost five, so of course he could speak Sinese. Glancing at Suki a little confused, and Tiên didn’t know if she would catch on to his sudden confusion towards her so called brother's reaction to him speaking in Sinese. He spoke Sinese early as well before Suki even showed up? Tiên was really at a loss, he didn’t know how to react or even communicate with this man exaggerating like this.

Tensing a little when the duplicate took his hands in his grasp, Tiên processed the difference between their hands as well, his were so roughened up from his training, sapphire eyes blinked at the smile directed at him, it was making him a little anxious. He felt warmth but he was also scared. He could speak in both Joyan and Sinese with these two, but would his duplicate want to be his friend anyway? ‘That’s enough Xiān!’ Berating himself in his thoughts, as he glanced at anything that was not Suki or this man. “But, I’ve heard many speak Sinese?” Turning back to Suki he blinked confused, tilting his head as he remembered all the people who spoke Sinese to him in that city. “Or is that just something that happens in Hosenka?” When he took a step back, Tiên let out a breath, sighing as he turned to the other male. “Uh… I’m Xiānlián… or well Tiên, as Suki-chan calls me… Who were you again?” Tiên remembered that earlier on he never did get a name from this guy, because they jumped straight to how he had killed the flowers.

A frown laced his lips when his sinese acquaintance spoke about demolishing the whole garden, and Tiên almost, almost went to grab his blade, because that was selfish and it was not fair to not take into consideration what other people wanted, but he prevented himself from doing so, as Suki had spoke up. A smile replaced his darkened expression, as she continued to counter the others' ideas with her own ideas. He glanced at the areas she had pointed out, and he hadn't even noticed the almost lake-like pond. “I was… thinking smaller, but… alright then.” Mumbling to himself about how he wanted the lotus pond he was thinking about, just to turn back to Suki when she called out to him. “Mh…” As soon as she mentioned the necklace, he felt his ears burn as he remembered, reaching out to the pendant, a smile bloomed across his face when he softly laughed. “It really does suit you, Suki-chan.” He turned back towards her brother and nervously smiled at him, if this man was anything like Líng-gē, then maybe he was protective over Suki, and Tiên didn’t want trouble.

“R-right… Let’s begin…” He moved to collect his bag that held all the seeds to the flowers he wanted, and he also grabbed his sword, relaxing more when the blade was now in his grasp again, just to head towards where Suki was at the pond. 'Wait… How am I going to plant these lotus seeds…' Staring at the water before him,Tiên scratched the back of his head, trying to figure it out, sitting down on the grass as he dug through his bag for the seeds of the flowers he wanted to plant.

JAN REN

Apparently the two men were living in two separate realities. Whereas Hargeon, Marigold and Hosenka were filled with strictly Fiorian and several Joyan-men on one's part, it turns out the other had experienced a large community of fellow Sinese-speakers, if not natives; adding onto Jan Ren's personal excitement, "Oh! Please, introduce me to those people then!!" But at the same time harboring confusion. How could he, having been in this country for months, missed every single person to speak Sinese -- save for Tien? In the first place, how many immigrants did Fiore even harbor?

Per request, the young man let go of his newfound friend's hands early on to momentarily step back, preparing his introduction. "About that." Happily he would comply and make himself known, especially considering the pedestal he'd placed this Xianlian person on over simple ethnicity. Being passionate with his own culture, he took pride in every bit it had to offer and meeting a friend who harbored similar background was all the more enjoyable. As such... He pondered for a very short moment. This man... Surely he can pronounce it. Right?

"Jiang Ching Ren." [--彊清仁--]

An almost matter-of-factly, serious yet musical tonality as the young man had spoke Sinese to another for the first time in what must have been over a year. Truth be told, he'd gotten used to the identity he carried; but given another's origin and the firm assumption of the other's linguistic ability, he made the first statement as a genuinely Sinese man. Still, --"Ahh, Jan Ren will do." He was quick to revise, adopting the name granted to him as he offered a short wink to the fellow Sinese, topping off his introduction on the formal note.

"Regardless. Suki-chan cannot speak Sinese, and I cannot speak Joyan." He admitted, shrugging his shoulders as he did; sighing lightly at the unfortunate circumstance. A man capable of speaking all three languages, choosing to isolate each for the other's perception; it was a considerate approach, but at the same time selfish. "The only common ground we all have is Fiorian. Let's go with that, shall we?" Truth be told, Jan Ren himself felt uncomfortable failing to grasp half the things Tien said; and could easily apply the same for his little sister, over his end. Thinking about it, she'd never heard him speak in his mother's tongue before.

...Speaking of said young girl, "Wait, wait." Before Suki could go ahead to begin planting, the young man put his hand over her dainty shoulder to stop her; taking a look at the garden. Eyebrows lightly furrowed as he scanned the area. "Fine as it is? It's really small!" He criticized, acknowledging the small pond's modest appearance and yet disapproving of the general terrain. "We finally got enough Jewels as a guild to invest in our building. This is our opportunity to broaden our horizons to even greater lengths!" Jan Ren declared, determined to go through with the original plan. With many a tool and machine brought as well as a couple of workers (taking their easy break through these past 2 minutes), he was wholly prepared to work.

"We should put the planting on hold, until we renovate the ground and redefine our fence. A brick and stone fence enclosing a wide garden, with all different varieties of flowers and a beautiful river crossing it!" He explained, laying out his image as he'd seen it in his head before even making proper arrangements. "I'm certain our guests would love a wider garden, too." He topped, offering a smile.

Besides. He couldn't just send all that machinery back.

Sinese is a tough language.
