Ezekiel took a deep breath as he entered the growing town of Rush Valley. The air was as fresh as fresh dirt could get, be he admired how everyone around the town seemed to be working. "Interesting..." he whispered to himself as his finger touched his chin. His eyes widened, and his mouth made an 'O' shape. He was just a little surprised to see how much progress this town had made. Last he remembered, it was in it's beginning phases. Then, his shocked expression shifted into a satisfied smile and nod. "This is good, Konyo...really good." He moved in silence, deeper into the town, pondering on the idea of liberating the north from the crown. These people were set on becoming their own independent force which worked perfectly with Ezekiel's own plans. Ultimately his goal was to rid the humans off of the earth in order to protect it, but now that he wasn't an elf the nature spirits no longer spoke to him. So...that meant his goals could change a little bit. While he still believed it was his duty to conserve the earth, perhaps killing them all was far fetched and unrealistic. Phase one had been complete either way. Joining the Syndicate was a power move because now he finally had actual power over an entire forest. Of course with Konyo being his guild master, she had the last word- but his position was more than enough for now.
"I know right? I think they're eventually gonna go for every guild. Did you hear about Fairy Tail? I just came back from Magnolia this morning, that guild's on the brink of being wrecked." The Vampire listened to the two men walking with giant bags of whatever-the-fuck in their arms. Zeke had heard about a group of mages destroying a guild known as Pneumbral guard or something, but now Fairy Tail? Ezekiel would have to get to the bottom of this real quick. There was only one thing for him to do. The former-elf trailed behind the two men, following them into the entrance of the mines. Unfortunately for them neither of them had even realized Ezekiel was following him- it was one of the many perks of being a Vampire.
Nobody was at the mines at the moment, so it was the perfect time to strike. Ezekiel darted forward, grabbing the man on the left and pressing his fingers into his shoulder. The man immediately fell asleep. Suddenly the other man turned around and was quick to see his friend on the ground. "The hell?- He dropped the bag. For a brief moment Ezekiel could tell that he was deciding whether to run, or fight back. "Shh shh shh. We don't wanna wake him. Relax, he's not dead but he will be if you don't answer my questions honestly." Ezekiel put a finger up, hushing the man. As always, his smile was light and warm. "A-ask me questions about what? I don't know nothin." The man sweated, trying hard to remain strong in the face of his potential murderer. Ezekiel nodded as if he believed the man. He quickly tapped his ear, activating a spell. "Sawt Alqalb." he whispered.
